Value of money”
We felt satisfy with 1 night in Hau Giang 2 Hotel. We booked 2 standard rooms which were small but clean and comfortable for us. The hotel is very near to night market, Ninh Kieu quay and De Tham street (where you can find so many delicacies). Staffs were friendly. The only problem is that there was no hair dryer in the room but we stayed just 1 night so it was not much trouble for us. If I have a chance to visit Can Tho again, I'll come back this hotel.

Excellent stay at this hotel with so nice hotel stuff and very please with location near in the central city, Only hotel situated in a narrowly street but no trouble for going out or coming back because gate security to help you at the gate .The price of the hotel is rather cheap and room is clean , I will come back to stay again.

The hotel is situated in the city center. The breakfast is a small buffet which nothingcspecial. The room was perfect, very clean and new. The staff is helpful and they propose tour for the floating markets or the An Binh Island. This 2 tours were nice, but a bit too expensive i think.

Nice room but hassled by hotel staff”
The hotel room was very nice and clean, a little bit small and the window to the outside was reachable by a public balcony. The breakfast buffet was OK, not amazing, however breakfast did stop at 8.30 am and a bunch of hotel staff was eating there every morning. In my opinion this is not very professional. A very annoying thing was that, as soon as we entered the hotel a tout was already waiting for us. We had not even checked in properly. She seemed very helpful at first, helping us with some communication issues (the hotel staff does not speak much English). However, she kept on husseling us about taking a boat trip to the floating markets every time we appeared in the hotel lobby. We even "met" her a few times at the water front. We did want to do a floating market tour and went to some boat people to get a good price as her price was very (!!!) expensive to begin with. At some point we had managed to get a reasonable price with someone outside the hotel so we told the hotel tout we were going with someone else. She, however started to tell us stories how the boat person was going to rip us off. This made us unsure about our decision and the next time we "accidentally" met her on the street we gave in...we stated our price and she laughed and accepted. I don't think a hotel shoud work that closely with a tout as it did not leave us another chance than to go with her or to let the hotel phone one of the other boat people.

Very pleasant stay”
We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hao Hoa Hotel.Breakfast whilst not buffet style was adequate and tasty. The hotel is very conveniently located near the river and some restaurants. The rooms are a decent size and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is fairly new and everything is squeaky clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful with good English language skills. It's definitely good value for money.

Clean room, little English spoken at reception. Nevertheless, friendly staff organized a bus back to Saigon for us and is in contact with a lady offering tours to the floating markets. Location is very close to the pier and night market. One negative point was pretty loud noise at night, probably caused by a generator or air con outside.

Passible rooms with atrocious customer service”
My friends and I were travelling from Da Nanang to HCMC and we needed a place to stay that was convenient from the airport and to the sights of the city. We got in late around 10pm and arrived at the hotel around 11. Upon arrival the clerk had told us that they only had 2 of the 3 rooms that we booked. They said that it would take 10 minutes to get us a third room. 15 minutes passed and we asked the clerk again when they would have all three rooms available. The owner/manager stepped in and said that they only have 2 rooms at that hotel because the other rooms were occupied. He said that the customers weren't vacating the room which is why they could only provide 2 rooms. My friends don't speak English and we booked 3 rooms at a single hotel because they aren't comfortable being separated. From there this argument lasted another half hour and all we wanted were our rooms that we had booked. I highly don't recommend this hotel. Would definitely find something else next time.
