Hotel is clean and the food is very good, especially breakfast compared to other similar hotels. Room clean and comfortable Overall lovely stay.. only issue was noisy crowd being loud passed midnight, but not the hotels fault Would definitely stay again

Short Break”
The hotel itself was clean and tidy. The room we were in was clean with lots of cupboard space. Definitely needed updating. The tiles on the bathroom floor were discoloured and were lifting in places. The room we were in was above the entrance and we could hear people talking late at night and early in the morning. We couldn’t shut the window properly. The food was lovely and well worth the money. Pity about having to pay for parking.

Falling apart”
I used to like this place but it clearly is not being kept well, rusty shower grab rail, no internet in rooms. Although I did not have a car during my stay (and would be entitled to free parking), my son stopped by to visit briefly and received a parking ticket which the hotel refused to reverse. Fine for travellers on a tight budget but definitely run down and poorly managed

Reception area gives the impression of a high quality hotel, however that is soon forgotten when you walk in to the room. Room is very dated with poor decor, lining paper peeling of wall, whilst having a shower the shower head never stayed in place. I truly feel for the price I expected more, I have payed less and had a far better experience elsewhere.

Location was lovely. However.... Bath was painted and badly stained. Shower pressure so slow. Broken tiles covered with new tiles of different colour. Water leaks outside when you flush the toilet. Dirty tissues on shelf in wardrobe. Dirty cup under the bed. Thick dust on legs of chairs. Bed very creaky and uncomfortable. TV signal kept breaking up. And very poor decor. Service at bar at times was non exist ant, so was having to buy 3 drinks at a time. Bar closed early 10 o'clock. Definately Not value for money and we would not stay again. Very disappointing.

Very dated, car park full so no parking, plug in heater in room that didn't stay on so cold night, only 1 hard pillow each, no breakfast as restaurant full so all in all not worth the money and won't be returning

Additional charge for parking with no guarantee of a space, no hot water to the bath tap or shower, shaver lamp not working, bedroom table lamp not working, no bath mat in bathroom, all problems reported to reception to no avail. The only positive was a reasonable quality buffet breakfast. Otherwise., quite honestly appalling.

Lovely reception, friendly and very helpful members of staff. The status of the hotel is dated and could improve with some updating. In overall pleasant. The car park is a little bit inconvenient to park or find spaces. However, the staff were helpful and flexible. Excellent staff. It could improve if more of the rubbish and debris and road cones around the car park could be cleared, some odd vegetation and weeds could be removed making more spaces for two to three extra cars at least. The lines should be clearly marked so people park within the lines, no wherever they fancied. A very quiet room and in general a pleasant stay. I definitely come back and recommend it.
