This hotel was absolutely fantastic. 2-mins walk away from the beach, on the main road in Mui Ne, full of shops and nice restaurants. It also offers some nice excursions to White & Red Sand Dunes (highly recommend going at sunrise for breath-taking landscapes!). I really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. I had 3-4 meals, always trying something different, ranging from vegetables to fish and pork; everything was always really tasteful and the waiters were really nice and kind. An absolute pleasure to eat at that restaurant, from which you can benefit of a 10% discount, being a hotel resident. Highly recommended!

Great place, incredible owners”
We loved the place. Immediately when we saw the rooms, we felt like home. Spacy rooms on a lovely garden. Its hard to find beach access in mui ne since the beachfront is full of expensive hotels that dont allow you to walk trough. Luckily in herbal hotel you have access really close by, just walk left for 50m and turn right, walk down and you are on the beach. Akiff and Linn who run the place are some of the friendliest people ive met. Always ready to help with a smile on their face. You always leave with a smile on your face after every interaction with them. I would not give the restaurant three michellin stars, but its some of the best food we had in mui ne and for a very reasonable price, hotel guests get a 15% discount as well. If you are looking to spend hundreds of dollars on a luxurious five star hotel, look elsewhere. Herbal hotel delivers a five star feel the best way you can spend your money. My brother got in an accident and Akiff and Linn immediately got us an ambulance and followed us trough the whole thing, helping us out with translations, internatonal calls, comfort , anything imaginable. They still made sure everything was ok after they arranged us a transfer to a better equiped hospital in saigon. This is the level of care they naturally seem to posess. I can warmly recommend Herbal Hotel and Spa to everyone.

Very priceworthy hotel with helpful staff”
The stay was really all you could ask for in a charter resort such as Herbal Hotel if you are looking for a cheaper hotel. Albeit a lot smaller than any of the nearby resort hotels, it holds its own with a very good price, cleanliness and friendly staff. We were three guys traveling through Vietnam and they helped us with both transport from Mui Ne and laundry which was really appreciated. Should be said that the laundry wasn't free, but cheap nonetheless. The room was generally in great condition with decent beds and good furniture. The only bad thing was that the water was quite cold even in it's warmest setting, but this is not unusual for Vietnam unfortunately. All in all, a good hotel with a very good price.

The Herbal Hotel is a small bungalow park on the edge of Mui Ne. The bungalows are spacious, clean and overall very nice. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the owners speak English very well. The beach is accessible within a five minute walk. The hotel itself is quiet and has a nice peaceful garden. The herbal hotel doesnt have a lot of facilities, so don't expect a pool, or bed at the beach. Also the restaurant is a bit expensive with regard to what it offers. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit Mui Ne. It's great value for your money and definitely deserves more than two stars. Thank you for giving us a great time!

We travel to Phan Thiet to enjoy our holiday in 3 days. We check-in to Herbal hotel & Spa and the manager is so nice. She always smile and try her best to help you. The staff is so nice and helpful, they ready to help you all time. we had great time with great room. I think every penny we spent here is worthy.

Amazing big bungalow with friendly owners”
The Bungalows are so amazing and good looking. Around them you will find a nice garden and the beach is just a 5 minute walk away. The room was very clean and will invite you to stay longer. Luckily the water was warm and the bathroom dried quickly. As the complex is relatively small the friendly owners are able to get to know each guest, also the staff is really helpul. It's a bit difficult to find good food in Mui Ne because mostly it's oriented towards (russian) tourists. In the restaurant belonging to the hotel you can enjoy very delicous Western food. I didn't try the Vietnamese food besides some fried rice which was tasty but I think Mui Ne in general is really touristic therefore the food is not like the local one. We also tried the spa which is about 1 km (with Taxi less than 30 000 Dong) away from the hotel. The Vietnamese massage sometimes can be hard but we felt so relaxed after that. Thank you very much for the good service and relaxing stay in Mui Ne. We will come back!

Fantastic place”
This is one of five hotels I stayed in on my trip to Vietnam. I like this hotel the best. It is very well run, clean and friendly. The staff was very helpful. They even sent something to me that I had forgotten in the room. If you are in Mui Ne for the kiteboarding or the beach, the water is a short walk away. You cross a busy road and walk down a sandy path to the ocean. The hotel does not have a view as it is set back from the road and surrounded by walls and buildings. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The restaurant on the property was very good and as a guest, you get a discount. There are two bicycles you can borrow for free. I had a lot of problems with the peddles and crank arms falling off. Occasionally in the evening, there is a fair amount of noise from the entertainment at the restaurant next door. But it does not go on too late. I highly recommend the Herbal.

very clean and beautiful little resort ”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Herbal Hotel & Spa. The couple that runs the place is really friendly, caring and helpful. There is a restaurant (10% discount for hotel guests), a spa (1 km away but free lift there and back) and a store attached to the hotel. The restaurant delivers food (or coffee in the morning :) ) to your bungalow in case you prefer to eat / drink at your room. We stayed in the deluxe room, although we had only booked (and payed) the standard room. The room is very spacious and the beds were the most comfortable we slept in on our whole trip so far (5 weeks of traveling). Within a 3 minute walk you reach the beach and there are plenty of restaurants, stores etc nearby. We can only recommend this place!

Awesome Stay! Friendly and Helpful Hosts”
My GF and I traveled to Miu Ne last week and wow this place is perfect! It is close to the beaches and it is in a good location too. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome, brought us to our rooms, showed us around the area; despite us booking in at around 10pm! And they really go the extra mile for us. We got ourselves into a little trouble on one of the night and we called the hosts for help. I remember it was close to 11pm then; the streets are turning quiet and we felt so helpless! The incident was resolved smoothly.. all thanks to the hosts!! (: Give Herbal Hotel a try, I'm sure you will like it.

Wonderful vacation in Mui Ne”
Arriving at Mui Ne was about 12 pm, it was rainy outside but we were so lucky that day because we got a taxi quickly and arrived the Hotel in just 10 mins(from the sinh tourist bus station to Hotel), we had lunch in advance for waiting the time to check in. The owner is a kind man, with gentle smile on his face and he has excellent business operating ability, we had lunch in his own restaurant and we were all satisfied with the food, pineapple rice with seafood and TOM-YAM KONG SOUP will be recommended, maybe someday i 'll go to there enjoy the food again, haha... Above all, the hotel is clean and the location is convenient, walking to the seaside is about 5 mins. Otherwise, i want to apologize here for the late review, believe me, booking this hotel and you won't be disappointed.

LOVED my stay here. room was comfortable and clean. the bathroom couldve been a but cleaner but it's s.e asia so the expectation isn't too high. the only reason I'm writing this review is because the massages i had here were AMAZING I thoroughly enjoyed it and wished I stayed longer just to get another massage. owner seems seedy,.like he can't be trusted but he was cool and accommodating. would definitely recommend for anyone staying in mui ne who doesn't mind staying across the street from the beach instead of directly on it. the beach isn't that pretty anyway and so much windsurfing and RUSSIANS

Nice accomodation”
Clean room, professional and friendly staff, comfy bungalows. The owner helped us to organize a motorbike and the further journey with an open tour bus. The restaurant in front of the bungalows belongs to the same owner and the guests get 10% discount. The food is good but the service could be faster. In general we can recommend this hotel. We think a good choice in Mui Ne - other than that a city full of huge, impersonal and expensive resorts and restaurants to russians liking.

The bungallows are lovely. Airconditioning and hot water work fine. The shower takes 3 minutes to get hot. The beach is 2 minutes by foot away. You can rent a umbrella and a bed for 100‘000VD or 5 USD per day. We had a wonderful time at herbal spa. The owner was exceptionally friendly and forthcoming. We can also fully recommend the hotel’s restaurant (beautiful terrace with lovely music) and the spa (with private rooms).

Wonderful Hotel/Staff”
This is a wonderful little hotel. Akef the owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. He also owns a spa and a restaurant - all three are on the property. It's easy to miss the hotel if you're not looking out for the sign; the restaurant and spa are on the main road, with the hotel units located behind the two down an alley. The food in the restaurant is very good, and my dad enjoyed the massage he received at the spa. This hotel is a great value for the price.

Great place, amazing staff”
The place is lovely, nice garden bungalows set back from the road. Good A/c and a fan in the room. The staff at this place are exceptional, they really went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time in Mui Ne, lots of local advice and help sorting out kite surfing lessons and onward travel. This is a great place to stay, would really recommend it.
