Small, lovely hotel in Liverpool City Centre”
Heywood House Hotel is a good choice for people who want to stay in the City Centre of Liverpool rather than going West to the Docks. You couldn't really ask for a better location. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and well-known attractions e.g. the Cavern Club. Albert Docks is a short walk from the hotel. I had quite a big room in comparison to the price I have paid. The room is very nice and clean. The staff were really helpful throughout the stay. Given that Storm Doris hit Liverpool on the day, the staff were extremely useful for travel advice. Great stay!

I have stayed in hotels around the world. I had yet to be impressed by a hotel in the UK, until now. Heywood House is a great value, clean, rooms are well appointed with features, comfortable and the staff is friendly / helpful. The first UK hotel I have come across that checks all those boxes without spending a fortune.

Good location to Liverpool City centre. Away from the crowded area. About 15mins walk from Liverpool Lime Stn. Good size for a room in U.K. Nice and clean. But the air conditioning and safe faulty which cannot be rectified during my stay there due to the fact that their technician was on leave..

Very good hotel in central location”
This is a ‘room-only’ hotel, therefore there is no breakfast is included. There’s a range of breakfast cafes in the vicinity. Ask the hotel for any that offer discounts. The hotel (not a pub as it doesn’t have a bar either) is in the city centre-a very good location. There are a number of pubs and bars nearby for a drink and meal. The hotel has no parking, however, there’s a car-park only a few minutes from the hotel, and the hotel offers a 40% (cost £11 per day) discount voucher. Check-in is not an issue; we just parked our car on the footpath outside the hotel, checked in and put our bags in our room, then shifted the car to the nearby car-park. The room itself is a good size and reception has been very friendly, efficient and helpful. Chris is very good on the Beatles if you want to know anything about the band. WiFi in the room is reliable and ranged from good to slow speed, however, it was ok for normal use.

Great staff location and hotel”
The location is perfect a few minutes walk from the docks, city centre and Matthew street. Wonderful staff who were very helpful and friendly. We had a blocked sink and got moved and upgraded. Our first room was a superior admittedly it had a superb bathroom but not what I'd call superior. Our upgrade came with the edition of a large balcony and air con. Rooms aren't large but they are clean and well equipped.

Very good hotel with great rooms, comfy beds and high standard. Centrally located in a quiet side street off James street. Friendly staff. Free cabled internet. Modern look. Recommendable. Bit make sure you make a proper reservation at the hotel reception for next door's Noble House restaurant. Food there very good, both diner and breakfast.

A wonderful 2 days in Liverpool.”
The hotel was all we wanted and needed; a clean, well-decorated room and bathroom with comfortable beds. It was ideally situated for sightseeing in the city and, although close to the busy dock area, was very quiet. The young people on reception were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I would say is that we had difficulty controlling the heating/AC. The control pad was in a corner of the room near the door without adequate lighting and was difficult to see. .

Situated in the city centre and on such a busy street, but the rooms are so quiet it’s almost unbelievable. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. Small room almost boutique style but so clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Nice location at city centre. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Parking off site at Q Park nearby. Walking distance about 5 minutes, but could be an issue if you have a heavy luggage.

This hotel was even better than I expected! I stayed by myself for four nights. My room was super cozy and clean. Staff very friendly although I did not interact too much with them since everything was without problems. The hotel is small so you can't buy food or drinks in the reception. The location is more than excellent, 5 min to Main Street and 5 min to the pier and museums!! The only thing I can complain about is the wifi since I had some trouble connecting to it from my computer. Otherwise this hotel was more than excellent :)
