Old but clean and super convenient”
This hotel is older than most, but what it lacks in modernity, it gains in convenience. And the VIEW from the room of the river (if you get the right room) is so worth it (and well worth any extra cost). It's super convenient - right on the waterfront, with a door near the dining area that takes you straight out to the boardwalk. The breakfast spread is somewhat limited, but that's okay. Good enough for anyone who doesn't wonky food allergies. So many food options nearby, you can't complain. The lounge is a great place to spend an afternoon (the staff are really helpful). The pool is not bad - though again, not very modern. And it would be better if the staff could be more strict about people who jump in fully clothed (shouldn't be allowed in this type of hotel). Though I have to say the rooms/ lobby are way too cold... All the same, definitely recommended for a relaxing getaway in Kuching!

The Grand Ol Dame of Kuching”
Let's face it. The Hilton Kuching is one of the more established hotel in Kuching. Despite that, it's also still one of the best in town. Unbeatable location with choices of rooms overlooking the city or the majestic Sarawak River, a nice gym and swimming pool as well. I always come back for the room view. They're currently undergoing major renovation at the lobby and Toh Yuen, their Chinese restaurant (can still order to dine at their cafe). The Koffee and Makan Kitchen had undergone a facelift and I love the fresh new look. Looking forward for works to be completed. The staff, as usual were all super friendly and welcoming. Ms. Liew Chiew Wui and Mastura especially had been brilliant in helping out with my parent's birthday celebrations and stay. Thank you!

We are local Kuching citizen and it’s our 1st time staying in Hilton Kuching. We stayed the room 702 ... it was huge and clean beyond my expectation and the view is great . Love everything including the room service . Staff are quite professional with patience answering my questions. I like it. Thank you very much for the service . Would like to go back and stay again in the future .

Old but still good”
The hotel has definitely seen some years but overall, well-maintained. View from the pool is so-so but it is clean. Friendly staff. Stayed in King Plus - a bit of moldy/musty smell in the shower pod of the bathroom so used the bathtub instead. Otherwise everything was perfect. View from room is gorgeous!

No regret staying 6 days there. No doubt the daily breakfast are always the same everyday, but it has so many choices for me to choose. I was lucky as I gets to enjoy their seafood buffet during the weekend, delicious foods and worth eating. Even though hotel is 1 of the oldest there, cleanliness, services and foods provided are 5 star. Highly recommended.

Not our first time staying here and we always love hilton hospitalities. The bed is comfortable, the pillow can be better and the bathroom is clean though a bit old style. The breakfast have vast varieties and delicious.

Long review, suitable for all”
I stayed at two international brand in Kuching, Hilton and Hotel A during my last business travel. Price - Hilton cheaper, and gave me river view room. Hotel A room is facing dark alley Location - Similar Cleanliness - Similar, business traveler will love Hilton's working desk. Hospitality - Hilton 5 stars, Hotel A need to improve to meet your 5 stars rating! Facilities - Hilton are older, yet better. Hotel A have glamour lobby but the room and amenities rather disappointing. Hilton serves slightly better breakfast.

well its a five stars hotel, hence, the service & facilities are all good. the most recommended part is the location. close to all eatery place, nightlife and the places of interest. however, if the hotel can make some refurbish towards the room then everything will perfect. though the current one is ok, jz abit old fashioned. :-) cheers

I used to travel to Kuching and stayed to few hotels nearby but never be in Hilton before. I give myself a try..and, the brand really tells the services and experiences you gonna have. The food is awesome, the staff were friendly, prompt reply to inquiries and request...its going to be my 1st choice of stay while in Kuching.

It’s just in front of Waterfront, which us very lively at night. Easy to find food around and also kek lapis shops. All within walking distance. Breakfast has a lot of choices but bihun goreng and roti canai were kinda hard to chew. Especially for my parents. But overall it’s a very nice stay and I would repeat my stay here if i ever come back to Kuching.

I would highly recommend Hilton in Kuching for their warm hospitality and effort made in arranging 4 different rooms on the same level. Highly recommended. Friendly and attentive staffs especially at the reception. The hotel has seen some age but it is still well maintained. Breakfast was good. I would recommend the King Riverview Suite as the view is spectacular. Their MAGIC assistant was helpfull and prompt.
