Hospitable Manager”
Everything is of a standard you would expect of an older hotel property of this kind. The manager was kind in helping with a couple of requests and I think this is a good place to stay if you want a place with a family run feel. I would stay here again and can certainly recommend it to others

After having a bit of a problem with our booked room the staff were amazing and upgraded us immediately. The hotel was having work done and there were no facilities to use which was a shame. But lovely staff. Couldn’t do enough to help you.

Needs refurb”
It’s not too bad but needs a refurb to bring it up to date, everything seems like it’s not changed since the 1970’s, the carpet is worn and threadbare, the shower/bath is dated and shower is weak, the bed was ok but gave me backache and the general decor in the hotel is dated. That says the location isn’t too far , 20 minutes walk from the centre, the staff were excellent and the parking was free. It’s ok for a short couple of days stay but there are probably better hotels you can pick , the price was good though so it depends on your budget, after all you don’t spend a lot of time in the hotel during your break.

We arrived for our 1st family holiday check in was fine, we were moved due to having a pram and there was a lot of stairs for the room allocated even though I made them aware beforehand that we have a very young child with us, once we got the keys we got into the room and I must stay it is extremely run down, wall paper pealing off the wall, all appliances had their PAT outdated by at least 2 years which is dangerous and illegal. the shower pressure is awful and the top it off there were kids in the room next door which I will add had no parental supervision I went to speak to the mother to tell her to watch her children as my 8 week old son was being disturbed by them running around the creaky floorboards didn’t help, after being disturbed most of the 1st night I had to speak to the hotel staff who did feel sorry for us as he was the one Who allocate the room in the first place and gave us another key for another room on the top floor, I had to move all our things and a cot to this new room with an 8 week old. again this room was not a 3* room water damage, bed was squeaky, carpet had white patches all over it from where they’ve obviously tried to clean it with some kind of bleach, used tissues behind the bed so obviously the cleaner did not do a great job, bogies on the curtains The pressure on the top floor is even worse then last room we had and too top it off I was told the hotel is owned by a Jewish man so the staff can’t tell the parents to sort out their children, in all honestly if I didn’t have my baby with me I would have asked for a refund and traveled home after the 1st night but this wasn’t possible as we had a long journey ahead of us and we were all exhausted. The location was good, swimming pools are still closed and the do not serve any kind of food. I will not stay here ever again and I suggest you don’t either.

Very disappointing 2 day stay. On arrival, not a friendly welcome. Unable to get a drink (Bar closed UFN) Unable to get any food (Restaurant closed UFN) Couldn't get so much of as an orange juice or a sandwich ! If I had known about these issues prior to my arrival, I would have cancelled my booking and looked elsewhere. At the moment, rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. One consolation, and after discussing these issues with the Manager, I was offered a £100 refund from the total cost of the stay. A very 'dated' Hotel and I definitely wouldn't stay there again.

Acceptable”
One of the worse hotel that i have stayed in, it is very dated in urgent need of a revamp. Bathroom is very smelly with mould in the bath Tub water was not flowing from the sink and shower. Wi-Fi was very slow, double bed wasn't a double found blood stain on the sheets carpet were dirty overall would not recommend was not worth the price we paid for 2 nights and definitly would not return.

Carpet very dirty if you are with young children not very safe this hotel and cant close the roomb window bathroom and room and eveverywhere very stink if you leave bathroom door you are not able to breath. Not recommend at all

Would go again”
This was what it was, cheap room, but great facilities, staff very helpful and friendly, great breakfast, would defiantly stay again, small down points were we started in a room where the twin beds had been joint together, but they weren't level, we mentioned it, they moved our room no trouble, and a couple of discrepancies , 1st room even though bed wasn't great, had a hair dryer, room 2 didn't and every ladies likes the option to pinch the token shampoos and little soaps, there were none of these :) so couldn't swim as didn't bring shampoo :( but that was my fault not theirs, but little complimentary ones would be used!!

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay here! The location was great and lots of parking onsite. The staff were excellent and catered to your ever need! Our taxi didn't arrive one evening so one of the staff kindly dropped us in to town for nothing even after offering a tip. The pool and sauna were lovely and clean too. We stayed in the family room in the cottage as the price was very cheap. The room was modern, spacious and clean. We did try any of their food, even though breakfast was included, I think we had to many drinks the night before! Will defiantly stay again!

Hotel was 2 minute walk to the beach. The room was stocked with plenty of tea and coffee. The sauna wasn't on when we wanted to use but the staff were very helpful and turned them on just for us to use.

One night stop”
The staff were friendly, however, the hotel needs investment as the interior is considerably 'tired'. We had a room on the top floor and there was no shower curtain (the shower barely ran) and even the water to the sink was limited. There is damp and the place just feels run down. On the positive side it is in a wonderful location and as stated previously the people where friendly.

Little old fashioned and tired , our bedroom was lovely and quiet and loads of space for clothes.. Being on the top floor ( which we had requested ) the water pressure was poor which made the shower inadequate . Staff excellent, friendly and very helpful and the restaurant excellent . Plenty of car parking spaces and free , made this trip very enjoyable . Incidentally most of the other guests were returners.
