Great base to explore Quy Nhon”
I stayed at Sunflowers for a couple of nights and found it a great base to explore Quy Nhon. The rooms are large and clean and a bargain for the price I paid through Agoda. The location at the far end of the long beach is probably the only downer to the hotel, but the town is not that large, so only a short taxi ride away from the CBD. In any case there are plenty of dining choices nearby or just a short stroll away from the hotel along the beach parade. Would not hesitate in coming back to this hotel in the future.

Excellent rooms, but poor restaurant and english”
My experience at this hotel was overall good, the rooms are impressive with one of the better views in town. However, I found the quality of the restaurant food to be poor and the food a little overpriced. Also, for english speakers seeking basic information it is very difficult, as only 1 of the staff speaks english well. Quy Nhon and the surrounding area is very nice, and there is some top quality, low price, seafood restaurants nearby.

A good stop-over on the Reunification Express”
A 3 night break from the train. A modern hotel with good rooms and great views up the beach. Quy Nhon is a quiet non-touristy town with a great beach and harbour.

Worth a stay is you want peace and quiet.”
The sunflowers hotel is situated right on the beach and the view from my room (810) was gorgeous. The rooms are modern, bright and spacious. Flat screen TV, mini bar, aircon and the softest brushed cotton linen I have slept in since travelling!!! Another huge plus for me was the awesome shower!!! A huge rosehead with plenty of power. One thing that did worry me was potential noise from the bar on the 9th floor and Karaoke on the 10th.....my room was on the 8th. As it happens I didn't hear a thing, whether it was just a lull or if it's sound proofed I don't know? Staff are really friendly, ultra polite and super accommodating. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, instant noodles or fried eggs.....a fruit option would have been nice. There isn't that much to see and do in Quy Nhom, it's quiet and, as yet very few tourists. That was part of the appeal for me but others may find it boring?

Great beds and beach & city views”
We booked this hotel because the motorcycle tour we were on wanted to out us up in such dives. We were really pleased. The room was small but I had mistakenly booked for 1 person instead of 2. The bed & linens were great, the room was clean and nicely furnished, the laundry accommodated us at no extra charge. We arrived at 4 and left the next day at 7. The breakfast was also good. You can walk the beach and the locals are lovely. We are at an outdoor place 1/2 k down the beach and in spite of a language barrier it was really good. Super hospitable town!

Great hotel in a great location”
We stayed in this hotel for 5 days.A beach front hotel in a quiet location with sea views.Restaurants every where, and a lot have good vegetarian options on the menu. The hotel is well kept with everything working.The room was a good size with A/C,a great bathroom which always had a hot shower,the room also had complimentary toiletries and two bottles of complimentary water a day.The room also had a fridge and mini bar.Room service was available at no extra charge and laundry was done at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and willing,with an English speaker always available. We booked our taxis through the front desk for our day trips and we were very happy with the service provided. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we would be happy to stay there again.

Lovely hotel in a great quiet area”
We were on our way from nha trang to hoi anh and wanted to stop over on the way so we decided to stay here. unny thing is its better than nga trang in terms of beaches and scenery and no tourists around. We had great local food at a restaurant nearby with no English translation and the hotel itself was really comfy and clean and quietmwithbgreat beach views. highly recommended. They arranged a train ticket to hoi anh forums too. a lovely stay.

Reasonable standard”
Superficially, everything was fine, but you just got the impression that they would not do any more than the minimum. Therefore, not really well-suited for Western travellers or tourists, not yet. As with other reviewers, room clean and reasonably well appointed. Many minor irritations, nothing to get upset about, but you just sensed the staff would not go out of their way to be helpful. A little, but not too far, away from the town/city centre, not far from the beach too, so a reasonable location. If this town/city is going to try and attract more foreigners, I feel that they need to put in a little more effort, oh, and smile a bit more too!

I really enjoyed my stay here. I would have happily paid twice the price. I booked a bus and then changed the destination hf hr later - they brought the new tkt to my room along with the cash difference. In my opinion this hotel should be 3 star not 2.

Family hotel”
It is a nice and clean hotel close to the beach. The rooms are cleaned everyday. And the breakfast is buffet when it is busy, but not always (than you can order with limited choice). We always feel like coming home here and the personel is very friendly and like family to us. This used to be the Sunflower hotel but is now under new ownership and is being renovated I think.

Nice unit if smallish. Romeo balcony over looking roof, albeit a nice roof, and the beach. Would recommend. Price super reasonable, . . . . they could easily charge more. Vietnamese breakfast of soup was good. Early check out, they tried to get us breakfast before we left back taxi there. All in a a big yes. Good internet and modern bathroom too.

Nice hotel but a bit far from town”
+ the room was nice and had a good view over city and ocean + except once, breakfast was buffet style which wa nice + staff was very helpful andb friendly - it is great for beach walks but otherwise it is a bit far from town and stores - it's a very local area and can get noisy - no minimarts or small stores where one can buy fruit, etc. nearby

Quite a normal stay. Some rough experience.”
For its price, it's seem to be a very good hotel. But after arrive we notice the facility have some problems in regards to amenities. We have to rooms booking during our stays, both rooms lack of proper complimentary water bottles which i think a standard for 3 stars. The only air conditioner in the first room was seem too weak for the room size- family room. The AC of second room in 8th floor was not only weak but also very old and couldn't swing plus it noisy sound. For it ages, the second room we stay didn't have any sleeping lights working and we had to use bathroom lights instead. The breakfast included in our room stay was sub-par. Thanks for Quy Nhon small size, we are avle to reach out local breakfast vendor very easy. One plus size of this hotel is its location closed to the seafood restaurant 114 Xuan Dieu, which is very nice indeed

Very nice except for taxi ordering”
Very nice room, clean hotel, on beach at far end. Breakfast a bit odd by Western standards but eggs, toast and peanut butter available. Only duff note was we gave them a taxi drivers card who we had liked the day before and asked them to ring him to take us to the train. They got someone else who wanted more money We refused to go with him and eventually they called the number we wanted but the guy wasn't available at such short notice. We got someone else from the same company, the meter was used and the ride was considerably cheaper than the guy from the hotel. Left a nasty taste.

Good location hotel with great staffs”
We stayed for 2 nights, the hotel was ok, good price for the room. The room was clean, a bit smelly in the bathroom. It's a bit noisy if you are staying at the 8th floor because the 9th floor is karaoke bar. The location is good, a lot of delicious seafood restaurants nearby. Nice view of the ocean from the window.

Great hotel/staff, not much to do QN”
Very nice. Very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Only a few though could speak English though all tried to be helpful. . Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable swimming as there is open sewage line draining into the beach area. Still, the view is very pretty of fishing boats and the beach is nice for walking. Locals were generally friendly though this is a town not used to seeing many foreigners. Would bypass next time.

Good price, good location, nice view but low cleanliness”
We came to Qui Nhon and stayed here for 3 nights. Room has a nice view, air-conditioner works really well for the summer time. However, cleanliness is quite low here and the proof was a lot of baby cockroaches and big cockroach were inside the room and in the corridor, we needed to kill them by ourselves at night. I needed to ask the maid to spray them the next day but nothing changed. We stayed for 3 nights, housekeeping tried to refold the bed sheets and blankets; changed the towels, rubbish was taken out but rather than that, nothing else was cleaned (toilet, shower were still dirty). A plus in this hotel was the very nice breakfast and friendly staffs during the breakfast, especially the two girls working in the morning. However, food should be kept warmer because the food was cold from 8am to 9am. Staffs in reception is neutral, work promptly without conversation or friendliness. It is enough to stay here if you plan to see the city with a low budget. However, for a three star hotel as Agoda suggested, it is not worth for such a price per night.
