Great location right in the middle of where you need to be. Friendly and very helpful staff. Great service with a 300 dong trip to airport. That’s good value. Comfortable beds. All up worth the cheap nightly rate of $60 Aust for 3 pax..

Clean, satisfactory place to stay close to ancient town.”
Good location & clean rooms. We were excited to swim in the pool but the water was a bit cloudy, so we gave it a miss. The breakfast is small and basic, but fine. It could be improved by adding fruit. Be careful walking around the hotel as the cleaners leave dirty sheets, mop buckets etc. in the middle of the walkways as they are cleaning the rooms, which can be a trip hazard. One of the young reception staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful with providing information, etc. Unfortunately her colleagues did not possess the same level of customer service.

Comfortable and clean but don't count on the breakfast to be filling ”
The hotel was a very clean and comfortable hotel about 3 streets back from the river on the Hoi An old town side. So when it came to being quiet it was great. The room was clean with clean sheets and tidied daily. The two girls at the reception are very good and accommodating. I would not let them hang onto your passport thought as they may forget to give it to toy on check out. Just my advice. If travelling solo this is a great place for a base camp. The breakfasts thought are hit and miss.

Solicitation everywhere”
The hotel itself is very nice and beautiful, just know that everyone there has something to sell/rent. Front desk wanted to book tours even though we had already done so, the cleaning lady stopped me and asked if I wanted to rent a bike from her, then another lady questioned why we didn't do any shopping in Hoi An. The last morning we had to get up early to catch a flight, but the front desk held us and questioned me about a pair of flip flops. I pointed to my feet and said, "I already have a good pair, why on earth would I steal a cheap pair from the room?" The only reason I am giving the hotel 2 stars for staff was because the airport transfer was smooth and worked out well, despite the setback in the morning. The driver was professional and nice.

Disappointed with location, dining facilities, and ambience ”
I arrived in Hoi An looking forward to a relaxing 3-day stay. My first big disappointment with hotel was the pool - which looked quite lovely in the photos, but is right next to the main road with almost no seating area. Next the room - paper thin walls that allowed me to hear everything happening around the hotel, plus a window over my door facing the hallway so that there was light shining into my room from the hallway all night. It's hard for me to sleep with that much light or noise in the room so safe to say i didn't have any good nights of sleep. Lastly, the "restaurant" is more like the family kitchen, which would be fine except it was inconsistent to order food. I even tried to contact agoda for most of the next morning to see about a refund with no success as the "system was down". While the staff was very friendly, I wouldn't stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Good clean hotel but staff need to lift game”
I was unsure when I booked this hotel. As I was told it had just had a remake over. Yes it did, very clean, new updated bathrooms, rooms newly painted. Good walking distance to old area. Breakfast staff were good and food was basic but ok. Front desk staff understanding was poor and we had issues finding out correct info. Rooms tidy but missed things such as a safe and tea and coffee, jug was supplied in room. Overall good stay. Will say one front desk staff did help with a doctor for my sick son. Doctor arrived within 15 mins and problem fixed. (Don't drink from water fountains at Asain airports).

Nice rooms but everything else was a bit of a let down”
If you're expecting a hotel experience I would not recommend this hotel. If you want a clean room and modern bathroom and don't mind some noise it's perfect. I stayed here for 3 nights after staying at Vinh Hung 2 hotel. VH hotel was 2 star but felt like a 5* in comparison for it's service offering, facilities, attentive staff and location. The hotel is well situated for the old town and there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the road on the way to old town, just 5 mins walking distance. The room I stayed in was perfectly nice. Nicer than VH but smelled badly of damp. Modern bathroom with shower and clean. The only issue I had with the room was the damp and the noise. The doors are single glazed and the hotel is on a busy road so there's a lot of noise. No kettle and mini bar was just water and sprite. Breakfast was included in my rate but I found this to be the most disappointing part of my stay. The dining space was 'on demand' and a ghost room. Don't expect your regular hotel breakfast set up in this place. If I hadn't asked about breakfast I would not have known there was one. They don't set up for it. I was given a menu which was fried everything. I was hoping for some fresh fruit but they didn't have any. I ordered pancakes with banana and a coffee. The pancake was hard and thick and very stodgy so I didn't eat it. After day one I ate breakfast away from the hotel. There is a swimming pool at the front of the hotel but it's on the main road so not relaxing. it's also quite dated and basic. Clean, modern rooms and good location. If that's what you want, it's ideal for the price. I've said 2 stars for value for money based on my stay at Vinh Hung 2 which was comparatively priced.

Good breakfast, very friendly staff. Location is good. We couldn't use the pool because we were there in February but everything seems very new. Possible to arrange tours and/or bus trips from the hotel.

Don't stay here if you value hot water.”
A clean serviceable hotel. Basic rooms. Pool looks nice, although it was too cold to swim. On a busy road so quite noisy. My main gripe is the hot water pulses 2 seconds hot, then two seconds freezing cold......this happens indefinitely. I've seen other reviews indicating no, or problematic hot water. I thought this might be isolated but it's not. Staff member confirmed this. Breakfast is extremely basic, it reads like a rations list. You're allowed one single drink and one single meal. Ie. One basic single pancake and one single glass of juice. I only booked one night, and moved to a much nicer hotel for the same price. Won't be returning.

Functional no frills”
Perfectly fine 2-3 star hotel but keep your expectations low. Our stay was unfortunately timed to coincide with some very loud guests who didn't mind waking up the entire hotel at 2am with drunken shouting, etc. There was also building work (pneumatic drilling) going on across the street from the hotel from 8am every morning destroys the 'ambiance'. Also found it quite rude that staff felt the need to remind us we need to check out and 'please hurry' at 11.30 when checkout is noon. Wouldn't stay here again.

the worst - from start to finish ”
First of all the family room we booked at this hotel does not exist. The family room includes three separate beds. When we arrived at the hotel they told us this and tried to place us in a room with two small double beds, after 30 mins of showing them the photos on agoda and the room description on our confirmation letter they spilt us into two rooms ( one queen room and two twin bed room) which was great. However the rooms had black mold behind the bed and smelled terrible of mildew and mold ( i am now sick with a sinus infection). Showers had no hot water and the bath mat was brown from use. After 11pm the hotel padlocks the front gates with no prior communication of its curfew or a way to get in touch besides calling the hotel and waking up a grumpy older lady to unlock the padlock and chains - she was very upset about this. They also insisted on keeping our passports which i never let a hotel do. Breakfast was very basic and took a long time to prepare, again they seemed overwhelmed when three ppl ordered food. I do not recommend staying in this run down and unfriendly hotel.

Very good location, easy to access everywhere. The quilt is too thin.... Even I adjust the air conditioning to 25 degree, I still feel very cold at night... And my room is smelly...
