Holiday Inn Express in downtown Kuala Lumpur is good when you travel on a budget, without sacrificing comfort of a hotel. The free breakfast is decent, and the staff is good; SHOUT OUT to the hotel guard in reception area, who helped us get a cardboard box for our additional luggage, the night before our flight, also the receptionist who has tattoos, he’s the only staff manning the front desk in the evening, he is very good in attending all the evening guests. The hotel does not have a transportation service, but on the ground floor there is a taxi and tour services that is very helpful and friendly to guests of the hotel. The hotel also has a smoking area outside of hotel. There is a convenience store, a supermarket, and a mcdonalds nearby for the convenience of the guests. Also, the location of the hotel is not far from the tourist spots of the city, (walking distance to jalan alor and klcc). The only problem that we’ve encountered in the hotel is there is no bathroom exhaust fan in the toilet. I could only assume the reason is that we got the non smoking room? And i dont know if all the rooms are like that. 4/5

Good experience ”
Everything is good. Parking is available if you come with your own car and free of charge. Staff is also friendly. Check in and check out process quite fast. Room facilities in good condition and cleaned very well. The hotel is located at a very strategic area. Close to KLCC and Bukit Bintang. The best thing was, during check in, the staff informed they are giving us a free room upgrade.

Good Location ”
Hotel is conveniently located near to Raja Chulan Monorail. 5 mins walk from the back of the hotel to the station. Walking to Suria KLCC is about 15mins. Right next to the hotel has a Family Mart, MacDonald's & a supermarket to grab some items. There is a laundry room located on L2 of the hotel. Need to purchase tokens for it. RM$20 for washing & dry clean. Breakfast items are alright, limited choices, not for picky eaters. But somehow the food was quite badly done during my period of stay especially on the scrambled egg and the nasi lemak (coconut rice). Not appetizing.

BEST HOTEL EVERRR!!! I love the hotel as they have the coin self service laundry where you can buy the coin at their reception counter. RM 10 for washing and another RM 10 for drying. I love their room concept, it has carpet and they also pointed out where the kiblat is. They have safety box and also small refrigerator. The toilet and shower share one door which was something new for me and I love the idea of that. Even the bathroom tiles are so nice and not slippery. I just wish that they could atleast prepare 2 slippers but other than that everything is magnificent. Will definitely go back again here. FYI, the hotel have free breakfast every morning to fuel yourself well depends if your room have the package to it. And they also have lounging area where you can just relax while waiting for your room to be ready or even just to hang out there. Suitable for those who come for business or couple who just wanna relax and plus nearby to Raja Chulan MRT and PAVILION is just a walk away using the connection route to go to KLCC also.

I had a great time staying at this hotel. It was clean, the location is great, everything is within walking distance. I was given a room On the 19th floor. View was nice, facing the Pavillion. Even the monorail is a 5 mins walk. You can take the monorail from the airport and alight at Raja Chulan and walk to the hotel. It was a very convenient stay. Whenever I come back, i will only stay at this hotel. Bcuz i love how everything is nearby👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Clean and good breakfast”
Clean and neat room comes together with great services. When I checked in, there is no TV setup since the hotel had maintenance updates. The maintenance staff setting up the tv in timely manners and assist us to change the shower head as well. Great breakfast in the morning as well.

Located close to KL tower and Petronas with many street food and local cuisine with five mins walk. The hotel was so clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was good too. Definitely a worthy place to stay when in KL

Good Stay”
Walking distance from monorail. If you are not lazy you can walk around to bukit bintang. Room is okay for a couple of night stay. Staff are helpful. Was able to leave my things after check-out to roam around the city center.

Clean, Good location, New”
PRO:The room are clean, the matress is confortable. The way they arrange the interior of the room, also don't make u feel very cramp. Location are in the CBD area of KL. Check in is hassle free, does not have toothbrush but can collect during check in. For such a small room, it comes with a mini fridge - good for us as we needed the fridge to store medication. Con: Basement car park are very tight and there is no lift to the ground floor. So it would mean quite a bit if stars to climb to reached ground floor / level 1 followed by lift to the check in area. Breakfast selection are limited and it does get real busy on a weekday morning even that it is a business.hotel.

To reach the lobby, you have to go up the elevator to Level 1 (didn’t know this when we checked-in). Overall, the hotel was clean, breakfast had good options, and the location was amazing. Highly recommended if you’re just going to stay the night and roam around during daytime

Worth to stay!”
I love the location - quite area but you can find McD, Family Mart and Supermarket just few walks away. I like that it has laundry room so that I don't have to carry dirty clothes on my way back home. The Pavillion is just nearby - just 15mins walk Will definitely stay here when i'm visiting KL

I brought my kids to experience one night stay in the city. The location is great, near to the link bridge - KLCC/ Pavilion. Room is clean, breakfast is good. I want to thank you the guy that working on 25/8 night shift where I accidentally left my wallet at the front counter and he kept it and called me to collect from the counter. Appreciate that

Kind and helpful staff”
This is my second time staying at Holiday Inn Express KL and this time their services impressed me more than what I always expected. I was late during the check-in time (about 1240+ - 1 am the next morning). At the time of my arrival, the staff who handled the check-in process did a good job handling customers. Due to the peak season and the hotel was overbooked, some bookings (by the third party were canceled) and left the customers to spread their anger to this staff. The staff still politely replied and even gave help to those customers, without delaying my check-in as well. I regret that I can't express my compliments and praise to him on the spot. (I can't remember the staff name, but he is the only staff-on-duty in the lobby, about 12 am -1 am on 26 June 2022.

Worth of your money!”
I was a single traveller and I didnt want to waste my money on sleeping but there was not many hotels I could choose. You know what I mean. This hotel is located to 300~400mm away from monorail no.8 and just a station away from Bukit Bintang so easy to go to downtown. And the hotel give 2 cardkeys. And the carpet on the floor is a bit old but the bedding is as good as 5 star hotels and the pressure of water is great. Honestly better than Hilton garden inn that I used to stay 2 nights before I came here. Because of my early flight, I missed to have breakfast, so I dont know what it is like. But next time if I get a chance to fly over to Malaysia, I would visit this hotel again 100%.

Very nice with the most comfortable beds”
Very nice rooms and the most comfortable pillows and beds. Location is also most awesome, minutes walk to anywhere that is happening in KL. Restaurants, bars, malls, markets, The Patrons Towers, all less than 10 minutes walk. Breakfast could be improved.

Very good hotel in the very center”
Very good hotel, we got room at 19th, nice view. Room is not very large, but very convenient. We had everything we need on the room. The location is just perfect between Pavilion and Petronas (Suria KLCC). What we don’t like - breakfast, simple and and not so tasty.

Chill and Relax”
Not remember this is the Nth time I've been staying at Holiday Inn Express. Staff are friendly and helpful. A little bit upset with the buffet breakfast where the hotel has cut a lot of food. The Coffee from the coffee machine taste bad. Other than that, as a one night accommodation, it was great!
