A Nice hotel in a quiet area outside Liverpool”

Ok BUT”
Room was ok, good parking, breakfast was ok (not many veggie options), but they are having issues with a boiler, hence I had to ask to shower in a room where the hot water and water pressure was working. Not ideal. After a long trip the last thing one person wants is to feel like in a hostel. My surprise was that I had to insist in finding a solution and somehow felt like I was a strange person for requesting a good shower with hot water and pressure. Holiday Inn should warn about this on their adverts, or at least be ready to refund part of the fee or offer a solution straight away. The client should not be thinking of solutions to a problem that is fair to happen, but not their responsibility. Best

Nice stay with comfortable room and friendly staff”
Nice stay with comfortable room but a bit far from city. Three Holiday Inns Express in Liverpool, we went to the wrong one at first. Room is huge. So funny is that all room size is almost the same, so 1 person, 2 persons, 3 persons or 4 persons, they will give you same room with price different only coz for the breakfast and towel cost. So 2 persons are perfect in the hotel room.

Good hotel but in a not so great location.”
Stayed here for 2 nights for a short trip to the city of Liverpool and also to watch Liverpool FC play at Anfield and go top of the Premiership! YNWA! The hotel is a good hotel with big clean rooms and there is free high speed WIFI throughout the hotel so that was a good plus point. The morning buffet breakfast was also good and satisfying. The only con of the hotel is its location. It is situated next to the M57 Highway about 10km east of the city with nothing much in the surrounding areas and if you don't drive (of which you get free parking at the hotel as a guest), you have 2 options to get to the city, either by bus, which is rather infrequent or a call-in taxi service from a local taxi company which costs about 17 Pounds one-way to the city and 15 Pounds to the Liverpool or Everton stadiums. The drive takes about 15-20mins each way. Besides that, a decent hotel, but if you can't stand taking the taxi or bus every time you want to leave the hotel, then it would be better far more convenient to stay in a hotel in Liverpool City itself. Also, for a hotel located in non-central location, the price of the room was rather steep.

Nice hotel with friendly staff”
We are a danish family with 5 members. We felt very welcome and was helped to get to places of interest in Liverpool. The staff was very accomodating and gave good advice about points of interest. In the very nice and clean rooms we had a nice overnight stay and a solid full breakfast.

Simple and Convenient”
After a 300 mile journey and arrival time at the hotel 1530 hours, our experience did not start well. The computors were 'down' and check in appatently not possible. A desire for shower and change prior to meeting people at restuarant was not happening. The young staff at desk stated that without a computor they had no idea which rooms were allocated, and which were vacant (Good job there was not a fire!). We returned to the hotel at 2130 hours, and check in was completed successfully, but our evening ruined for reasons above. The room was very large and exceeded expectations for this standard of hotel. The room area was quiet and no sounds heard to disrupt a very restful nights sleep. The breakfast area was basic, but the breakfast itself was adequate and satisfying. If I were to be 'picky' it would have been nice to have seen hotel staff in the eating area, at the very least cleaning used tables. Everything was 'self service' and it did work well. The place was clean and apart from the initial problem experienced, it was a good stay.

The hotel is outside Liverpool city centre, about 45 minutes by bus. The room is nice and the internet is very fast. The price is good so it's value for money.

The hotel was in a great location for where we needed to be, the staff were lovly but the hotel was very hot all of the time, I know we were there on a hot weekend but the only thing we had to try and keep the room cool was a desk fan which wasnt big enough to cool the room. The heat hit you when you stepped out of the lift this was the only down side to this hotel, it needs air conditioning!

Comfortable with courteous service”
We missed a turn and got lost quite a bit. Our receptionist was attentive and we got the rooms we wanted. The beds are comfortable with a choice of soft or firm pillows. However, the sofa bed has not got a duvet and was not that comfortable. The breakfast was ample nut lacked variety. Its good accomodation and value for money.

No air conditioner in rooms. Breakfast experience was Very bad - have to request n wait for food and fruits replenishment. The area is too small for the numbers of customers. OK for family with children on budget holidays.
