Convenient hotel for families with young children”
Our family (2 seniors, 2 adults and 1 three yo child) chose this hotel due to its location and facilities. We chose the hotel room with the kids double decker bed which was a huge selling point for our son who could chill and play around while we got ready or unwind for the day. We got the city view which allowed us to see the revolving tower (Menara Taming Sari) which was a nice view giving the generously sized glass windows. Facilities wise, the swimming pool for nice. They’ve got a childrens wading pool that’s comfortable for about 5 kids. It’s got the potential to be able to see a nice sunset. Hotel location wise it’s somewhat close to the important places like Jonker Walk, Mahkota Parade, Menara Taming Sari. But it’s across the highway so walking would be a problem. Having a car made it really easy though since all these places are within a 10min drive from the hotel. For those without a car. The hotel also provides a 2 hourly shuttle bus service. We chose the breakfast provided option and it was decent. Go for this if you have kids so that you can get your tummies filled quickly before heading out.

We have stayed in Holiday Inn many times when visiting Melaka. And this time too, we were not disappointed. The hotel room and facilities are not as prim and proper as before and I guess it is cos of the pandemic. But it’s not all run down. It’s kept up to mark and I have nothing to complain. Breakfast was a spread and there was a variety for everyone. Staff were friendly and accommodating. When our door battery died, the technician came within minutes and sorted it out. Swimming pool also was maintained and clean! Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you Holiday Inn for the best service as always!

Positive Experience in Standard Room”
Clean linen and bedsheet, comfortable soft bed, available infinity swimming pool facing the sea, great international breakfast, Dove soap, shampoo and hand wash were provided in the room. Hotel location is within 3km of Jonker Walk and can be easily reached via Grab. Room is away from busy road so there was no vehicular noise heard. Ample parking space for drivers. Wifi constantly disconnected from all of my group's devices and this has to be improved.

The rooms were kept tidy and neat, with ample space to move about. Most importantly, the staffs were very friendly and professional in their handling of hotel guests. I am travelling in a family of 6 and we were pleased with the counter service, the housekeeping, the hotel buffet staff, and the concierge services. Keep up the good work.

Hotel room cleanliness max.Staff very humble.Still look like new hotel.Shower and shampoo foam in pump type which is convenient.They also provide bidet which is relief for me.Swimming pool and Spa well maintained.Breakfast spread awesome.Ample car park just infront lobby.Location just cross main road then you are already in walking distance to all attractions in Malacca.Salute to all staff who very dedicated.🥰

Extremely nicest comfortable bed n pillows as they have firm & soft elongated shaped. Air con is cool enough. As I have check in late, the room already been set on air conditioning, therefore, what a relief!! Housekeeping is excellent. Only thing is the bathtub at 908 room a bit stressful to release water after bath. Conveniently to shop at nearby Plaza Mahkota. Thank you for awesome team.

Everything was excellent.. Very highly recommanded.. 😊😊 1. Room was spacious, very clean and tidy 2. Swimming Pool also very big and suitable for family with kids.. my family enjoy it so much. 3. Food also very nice.. so many choice and delicious. Although The PKPP SOP was applied.. they are still give us a buffet.. with very friendly staff entertaining us. Breakfast is free for kids under 12 years old.. 4. Staff was also friendly, with smiling face almost every time.. and help us a lot during our stay. thanks for All the staff and management of Holiday Inn for a very memorable stay.. next time my trip to malacca.. Simply the best hotel in Melaka!”
We were checked in very late. A receptionist lady was very helpful and quick to understand that we were very tired after a long journey. Thank you very much to her as it was very smooth during check-in. We booked 2 rooms, connected to each other. As we enter the rooms, the air conditioning system has been turned on already, it is a very well-prepared room. Although it is an old hotel, it was superbly well maintained and clean. The hotel overall was quiet, not crowded although it was on weekend and you can truly enjoy its tranquility and privacy. Many choices for breakfast buffet, and for me, muesli is one of the best I had. So many hotels in Melaka nowadays, I hope Holiday Inn will stay as it is, or better when I stay here again in the future. Kudos to all staff!

Breakfast Buffet & In Room Dining.”
Most of the food are ok, the roti kirai/jala with the gravy is bad. Spoke to Manager Razi abt the quality of the food above and he said that he will inform the Chef to cook a new one but till i finish my breakfast there were no changes at all. Ordered Chendol in room, one of the worst Chendol that i have tasted, the Chef that did the Chendol should take a walk down Jonkee Street area and find out how to make good delicious Chendol.

Great weekend getaway in Holiday Inn Melaka”
Fantastic hotel with awesome facilities and superb location which is within walking distance to Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan. Parking was convenient due to the large parking area. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of food.

This hotel is very clean.. The staff is also friendly and try their best to accommodate request.. The only minus point is their WiFi.. Its not that strong in rooms. And also for breakfast should have option for Indian dishes. Roti Canai, Tosai and Vadai would be a great option as well.

Pros - check in and check out process was hassle free - especially when you booked a room via online apps. Breakfast spread was great and tasty food. The swimming pool is clean and huge. Also you have to make a booking due to only limited number of people can enter the pool at a time. Room is superb with comfy pillows and bed. Best experience ever. Cons - NIL

NICE HOLIDAY FOR US AFTER LONG PKP”
We had a very calm and great holiday at the hotel. We took 3 rooms. Even though the check in process was quite late but En Daniel from the front desk really worked hard for it. He eventually managed to settle up the process until we all checked in. Thank you to En Daniel for the tremendous customer service. We also would like to thank En Zamir for helping us with all the luggage. Overall I would give 5 star for the customer service. The pool was great. They limit the number of people in pool which is good. The food was really good. Thumbs up to all!!
