Clean, comfortable hotel with air con and free parking”

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding at Nottingham University. This was about a 10 minute taxi ride away, costing around £6. Location is good if you like McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Costa etc, in the middle of a retail park. Plenty of shops and chain restaurants nearby. Good if you want to drive everywhere but not so good if you want to walk to the city (we tried in the dark and rain but got lost!). The room was very clean and comfortable and the air con was a godsend! The staff were generally friendly and helpful. After arriving back from the wedding in the early hours of Saturday, I asked if we could check out a bit later in the morning. The kind staff member said we could check out at 12 instead of 11 at no extra charge. We were extremely grateful for this! The hotel has secure, free parking which is also a bonus as many we looked at didn’t. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board which were very useful. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom though which we found odd!!

Excellent Functional Hotel”

used this hotel on a business trip and was ideal. based outside the city center of nottingham which makes it easier to park. friendly hotel staff and rooms were decent.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was well equipped, well decorated and spotless. The hotel reception was very smart and the staff friendly and welcoming. I would definitely use this hotel again as it represented excellent value for money. The location is good around 20 mins walk from the city centre but also plenty of nearby pubs restaurants etc.

Beautiful quiet hotel”

I liked how this hotel was a short walk along the canal from city center. It was in a very safe area that's quiet. It was accross Sainsburys which I could buy food. The cons were that there were limited food choices at nighttime since I was traveling by myself and didn't want to walk to town to get anything . There was a Pizza Hut and a Beefeaters nearby but that was it. Also, they don't exchange money or have a charger adapter (I traveled from North America) so I had to buy one at Sainsburys which cost me 5 pounds! The hotel was a bit dated but the most important things I look for in a hotel were satisfied like cleanliness and a good sleep:)

The bathroom was quite spacious but the room was a bit small, if someone's sitting at the chair, the walkway would be completely blocked. The room was reasonably clean. It's located in the suburbs, so would be difficult if you don't have a car. There's a supermarket and a few restaurants within walking distance, so you'd meet your needs without having to drive.

rooms ok with comfortable bed and tea, coffee making facility. Internet very expensive and wi-fi very difficult to configure, when paying for executive rooms internet should be free. Bar and restaurant were good but again a bit pricey, pint of bass was J3.80 yet in beefeater next door pint of tetleys was J2.35...big difference. Another annoying factor was having to recode the room card every day.
