it was nice choosing this hotel,the staff are very friendly, i was alone on aholiday for a few days, all what i want is a place in good location, centre of the city, with affordable prices. the staff are very friendly and happy to help the customer, the food is nice and dont forget to try their spaghetty with sos tomato, such an imazing :) it was enjoyable staying there, and will do it again :)

Old building with standard condition for bacpaker. price is not too expensive or cheap. but the advantages was near the tourist center, convinient public transportation, easy to find local food and restaurant. not far away from Makhota Malaca Hospital.

Initially, the owner of tour offered his services on a trip to the reserve and assistance in buying tickets to Penang for 82 Renita, then bought for 50. after we had some troubles finding the place we were disappointed by the owner for the first time at the check in. our booking, which was paid by credit card was not valid and agoda should had sent me an email to inform me - not true, never got an email. however, "lucky us" he got another room for us, because he gave away our actual booked room to someone else: incl a/c but we had to pay 25 rm additionally, no big deal for us but a bit strange. the room actuall had no window, just the bathroom did. the room was badly sound-proofed, size was small but ok, it could have been cleaner. the owner himself is somewhere in between very friendly and helpful and son of a gun. you can do defenitely better!

Very bad experience ”

Absolutely not professional : we didn't get the room we paid for, never eat the supposed free breakfast (nothing was in the kitchen in the morning), and the owner didn't bother to show up to do our check out. So we didn't get our deposit back. Such a behaviour is not acceptable even if the price of the room is cheap. For sure the owner was nice when we arrived but friendly staff is not all.

Dirty hotel, impolite staff”

Don't be cheated by the name, this place is urterly dirty. The staff, expecially the old guy, is so impolite and doesn't pay attention to guests. When you check in, you must give him 20 ringits as a deposit for the gate key, and when you check out, you must wait for him for a long time to take back 20 ringits, cos he goes out frequently. So disappointed in booking this hotel.

Sampai di guesthouse jam 2ptg tp tiada siapa disana then bila call suruh datang 3.30 sebab dia keluar lunch. jam 4 datang semula untuk chek in. . dia kata bilik penuh suruh datang jam 7mlm. . . jam 7pm sy call dia nak masuk dia mintak sy datang jam 8 sebab bilik tak siap kemas. . . macam2 alasan saya terima. last2 sy direct call agoda n bercakap dengan cik.izza. . sy pergi juga di sana lebih kurang jam 9.20pm baru boleh masuk bilik. sangat2 kecewa dengan service dia. masa checkout pula jam 3 sy call dia banyak kali utk dapatkan deposit sebanyak rm30. reception tiada orang jaga , so saya terpaksa tunggu dia sehingga jam 7mlm baru dapat checkout. deposit dipulangkan dengan cara transfer ke akaun but until now sy xdapat sebarang payment dari pihak Home Sweet Home. . . kecewaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sangattttttt dengan service dia.

Book di agoda, sampai situ diberitahu overbook, bilik ditukar, bersih xpe la, bilik kotor, berbau, dlm agoda bukan main hebat, masa tu terdesak sebab semua hotel fully book. Betul kata pengguna lain tempat ni mmg teruk, staff pun tdo je kerja, cakap kasar kita pulak yang kena deal dengan agoda setelkan problem dia. Cari tempat lain la melainkan anda tak kisah kejutan demi kejutan yang bakal tiba. Bagusnya dekat dgn bandar
