Between walking distance to famous restaurants, bakeries and souvenir shops ”
A homestay just located right in center that easily access to famous restaurants, bakeries. We parked our car at car park for free, few minutes walking to get foods, supper and famous biscuits. Our unit came with three bedrooms plus one sofa bed, two bathrooms with strong water water pump. The unit was cleaned and well decorated, glasses and free instant white coffee for guests. We were satisfied at their service on either check in / check out guide, delivering extra blanket. Good job to HomestayIpoh Octagon, our short trip was amazing due to the wonderful arrangement. Strongly recommend to group especially with young kids or elderly.

Nice/Clean Homestay with large Pool”
Spent a couple of days in Ipoh in the Octagon Homestay. New building with pool and lobby on the 8th floor . The room was very clean and in modern style with own bathroom. Unfortunately the room (booked Standard Room) has no Window (!) and you have to share the entrance with the "studio apartments". Also the room is very small. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can take cool or hot water for free, make some coffee and tea. Big plus is the very large pool you can use from 7am - 7pm. All in all a very nice, new, safe (own house-security) and clean Homestay, perfectly located in Ipoh. Would stay again :-)

Excellent Homestay”
Octagon has the best location with it being right smack on the street where the best local restaurants are located. Their staff Ah Wai is the most helpful and friendliest service staff we have ever met. We got the suite with two rooms inside and were really impressed with the spaciousness of the entire apartment and also how convenient it was that we had two bedrooms with one king sized bed and one futon and two bathrooms within, which really helped as we have 3 kids with us.

Strategic location & spacious Room”
Overall the location of the homestay is strategic, nearby to the restaurant, bakery, as well as Tong Shui Street, all by walking distance can reachable. The staffs are friendly and nice. Besides, the room is spacious and do have a small living room for our family to hang out together. Homestay provides swimming pool and gym as well. The only minor issue hope to get improve is do not provide contact details in the website or Agoda.com website, although the person in charge of the homestay do email me on the day before check in, but still hope to provide contact in website, for easy to contact with to ask for more question regarding the homestay booking especially for those guests are not from locals. Anyhow, still will recommend this Octagon Homestay to friends.

Strategic Place and Comfortable Accommodation ”
It is very comfortable staying in Octagon with a 5 pax of us. The staff is friendly as well and very customer oriented whereby they will do their best to give the best to the customers such as request for extra blankets, pillow and extra door key for convenient. This place is also a very strategic location nearby the town, to all the famous tau fu fa, biscuits shop and all of the restaurants & shop. It is also very nearby concubine lane. Overall it is a very nice and relax stay over here.

A gem in the middle of Ipoh. Stone throm from Gerbang Malam night market and tons of eateries around such as Nasi Ganja Yong Suan, Nasi Lemak Ayam Kampung, Noor Jahan Bakery, Cekodok Raggea Cafe and many more. The homestay concept 2-bedroom apartment can pleasantly fit 7 people and the view is amazing. There's also a nice infinity pool and in-house gym. Recommended!

Best Stay in Ipoh”
Best place to stay in Ipoh : 1. location 2. price 3. size and rooms well allocated for typical Msians family or big group 4. Staff : excellent customer service, honest, sincere. * accidentally dropped my money and not one ringgit was missing. take the initiative to inform us and EXTRA MILE in helping us bank in as we had already left. Very small improvement needed though : 1. Make it more communal i.e. where people can hang out more comfortably i.e. chairs, lounges on 8th floor or pool area, reading/music corner (headphone please!), provide more indoor games (only one board game), 2. more indoor plants to absorb noises or better acoustic 3. drawings/paintings (local theme, places of interest etc) to soften the general "cold" outlook. Unit inside no pots/pans/utensils for cooking, facial tissue. Will i go back - of course! And will refer more people.

Value of money ”
+location near most of the eatery , all in walking distant . Rooms come with 3 queen bed + 1 sofa bed with 2 bathroom with hairdryer too . A little deco make the room cozy . Rooms are spacious . Hotel concierge located at level 8 , but due to security need to meet at car park before go up . - no tissue provided , and only one table cloth given . No tea or coffee pack . There will be noise ( not too annoying) from the street , which is expected . As the hotel located at the centre of everything . Overall a very pleasant stay with them . Sure will come back again

Very Nice Facilities, Super Accommodatingf Staff, Great Location”
We were very impressed with the studio condo we reserved. Very clean, spacious, comfy beds, lap pool-covered running track-exercise room, free indoor parking, and a location within a short walk of many of Ipoh's restaurants and historical sites. We will definitely stay there again in the future..

The location is good and u can access to most of the tourism place such as foods, local souvenir and etc. The whole entire room only had 1 mirror in the bathroom. Should install 1 more mirror in living hall.

Short staycation”
Very near to the eating street and night market. This place is very new. Bed sheet and towels were super white. Bed and pillows very comfortable cause everything were new. Like the layout too. But did find a dirty cup. Only hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo provided. The rest like comb, tooth brush, hand soap and slippers you'll need to bring your own. Overall im happy to stay here again.

+ very clean and new rooms, friendly staff, good security, has a swimming pool and running track, free hot water and tea (no coffee) in reception all day. - they make the check-in instructions over complicated - it is not necessary to call people and a bit intrusive - just send a message at the booking time asking to confirm eta, and then send the instructions on how to get past security the day before. Also explain how to refill bottles of water, get someone to clean and check out on arrival rather than sending lots of text messages. Should state that the smaller studios do not have windows on the ad in Agoda. Should have WiFi in the rooms - it's a standard feature even in cheap guesthouses these days. How

Everything is great with this place. Especially the location, any traditional food stall are just within walking distance, so that you don't need to look for parking. The facilities are all new, nice swimming pool for family traveler. Staff are extremely friendly.
