Wonderful wonderful staff. Anh is the sweetest, and have a great tour of the floating market. It was so cool to eat breakfast there. Greatly enjoyed our time there. Please visit. Also had bikes to ride which was fun, and easy dinner at the homestay.

Simple and relaxing”
I spent here three nights and really enjoyed my time. The guesthouse is around 5 km outside the city, which can be easily reached by motorbike or bicycle. The bicycle can be borrowed for free from the guesthouse. The staff, Chen & Anh were super friendly and very helpful. I and two other travelers joined them at 6am for the floating market, where we had noodle soup and coffee and the boat as breakfast. Later we visited a rice noodle factory and spent some time on the land market. It was a cool experience and definitely worth the 345k VND.

Great place if nothing goes wrong...”
Sadly, I can only give one star due to an unecceptable experience I had during my stay. It's particularly disappointing since the guesthouse has a lot to offer: The location is great. Friendly and helpful stuff. Good value for money. During the night you feel like sleeping in a pond of frogs - nature galore, yet just a 15min moto drive to the city. The rooms are spacious - they are also reasonably clean (trending towards not very clean). The guest house also offers an OK- floating market tour which is above average in terms of value for money & engagement. Some of the staff speak good English. Trouble is: The hostel decided to put everyone into house arrest/ lockdown after a guest misplaced his credit card. To enforce the lock down the staff 'borrowed' everyone's passport without being prepared to actually give it back when one wanted to depart/check out. I had to physically reclaim my passport to leave on time so that I did not overstay my visa. There is no legal or contractual basis for locking guests onto a site and depriving them of their passports. It's an unacceptable overreaction framing every guest as a potential criminal until proven innocent. After a number of verbal and written interactions, the management still refused to apologize indicating that they would react like this again if any guest lost any items while staying on site. Frankly, I am gobshmashed. In four weeks of travelling around Vietnam and staying in very local places I have only met rational & accommodating people who are certainly not stubborn (otherwise there would be thousands of traffic accidents, daily) - this place here appears to be the exception. If you do not want to be locked down for a non-specified time period defined by the whims of the tweenty-something management, you may want to stay somewhere else. If you have ample spare time for such antics, it a great place to linger around. The frogs are, indeed, rather pleasant - and there is sufficient beer in the fridge.

Overall it was disappointing. Nice staff working in a place needing a facelift. Boat ride to floating market was the worst part....100% tourist driven and nothing authentic/real....I did not see a single local (except the boat drivers and the ladies serving tourists 'breakfast' bummer!

Great and helpful staff, good place to relax”
Stayed 3nights in a dorm room. Mosquito nets on every bed, fans, no AC. Two bathrooms and showers are outside of the dormrooms. They have also private rooms( i haven't stayed in). Pankake or bread with egg and coffee for breakfast( was included). Good lunch and dinner available. Also cooled drinks are available. Free bicycles available and motobikes for rent available. To the city center of Can Tho 10km. To the floating markets approxamatly 40 min. by bycicle along the rivers, you will see the local life in the villages. The hostel offers also a boat tour for 10 dollars in the morning to the floating markets and a sunset boat tour for 5 dollars. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a good place to relax, explore the local life in the villages by bycicle or motobike. Would stay again here!

The Hometravel is well located near the river! Staff is amazing and really helpful! We also booked the morning tour which starts at 5:30 and goes straight from the river at the accomodation to the floating market! Just go for it, you won‘t regret it! All in all it was a perfect stay here :-)

Definitely recommend for those who love the wild and outdoors. Lots of noises of wildlife in the night and quite far from Can Tho city. Upgraded for free to a double room with ensuite and a balcony overlooking the river. Hosts were really friendly and they have their own boat for daily tours along the Mekong River- definitely recommend going

Jolis bungalows au bord de l'eau”
Nous avons passés un séjour fort agréable dans les bungalows du hometravel mekong, un peu de calme et de nature à 2 pas de la très grande ville de Can Tho, les activités proposées très sympa! Vélos gratuits, tour guidé, loc de scooter... Seul petit bémol pour la qualité de la cuisine, peut mieux faire... Mais dans l'ensemble une bonne adresse pour passer quelques jours dans le delta du mekong...

Très belles cabanes en bambou avec terrasse privatives. Demander la terrasse avec vue sur le Mékong. Personnel sympathique et serviable (transferts et infos). Lieu convivial. Attention aux moustiques le soir ! Prêt de vélos pratique pour visiter les alentours. Il faut juste s’armer de patience pour le resto, pas exceptionnel d’ailleurs. Chouette tour à 15$ des marchés flottants, 5h30-9h.

Un site au milieu du Mékong une équipe aimable et aux petits soins Un agréable moment pour découvrir le delta. Faire les courses avec le personnel pour le repas du midi au marché de Cantho fut un grand moment de découverte de la vie et d’échange.

Le rapport qualité prix nuit, dîner est très bon. Par contre les excursions sont un peu chères pour des tours qui n'en valent pas trop la peine. Le lunch paraît inclus quand on lois le propose mais il est en réalité à 5$ par personne. Le personnel est sympathique !
