We were here end of March and were the only guests due to the covid-19 crisis. Having a resort like this to yourselves is magical and was a unique experience for us. The place is fairly new and with the slow business due to covid19 they were working on the restaurant and some other parts but we didn't mind. Staff did everything to make us comfortable and we even got upgraded to one of the beach cabins which was awesome. The beach is great and the sun rises over the sea, magical, but don't expect to be alone when you set your alarm to see the sunrise. It was the busiest time of day on the beach, at 6am!! A lot of locals in the sea, excersing, walking, etc. It has a great vibe. Swimming pool is great as well. It is outside of La Gi, but we didn't mind as the hotel had everything we needed. One of our best stays during our 4 week Vietnam trip.

La Gi's Hidden Gem - Great Value”
Our group of 15 recently stayed here for our team-building trip and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this resort. I came across Hon Ba Lagi while looking for resorts in the nearby Phan Thiet/Mui Ne area and decided to stay here since it was located in a lesser-traveled area - which seemed like a good place to get some R&R (away from the crowd). Hon Ba Lagi has been recently remodeled, and you can tell by looking at the resorts next door. The on-site coffee shop is my favorite: it has beautiful decor and good coffee with a wide variety of other drinks to choose from. The pool is new and very nice, the rooms are clean. Overall, it was a great stay and my team enjoyed it very much. Of course, there is always room for improvement: (1) the beachfront needs some work. It has potential but I wasn't impressed during our stay. This was the only disappointment. *Note: we traveled during a time when the number of foreign tourists is very few (COVID), so it is understandable that a few minor things may be lacking.

The staffs are helpful, friendly and supportive. The resort is nice and neat. The room and toilet are new and clean. The breakfast is good enough. Pool and beach is good. I would recommend the resort in Lagi stay.

Chalet room sea view have not table phone and refrigerator. All the whole everything is perfect. Air condition, television, bed, cabinet wood...is perfect. Bathroom have hot water in everytime. From Chalet door can see Hon Ba Island and sea, very beautiful. BUT: About breakfast is terrible. The reception told to us when check in that breakfast is Buffet style. But in the morning only omelet and bread. We can understand that in this time (Corona Virus) all Resort have my Family (5 pax) only. So making buffet is waste and not necessary ( I agree) but Resort should have noodle or a few meals then we can choose. But not, only omelet. After I asked the waiter “ any else but Omelet, he came back to kitchen section and one woman may be chief raising a signal “ no no no”. So disappointed. But in next time we still come back here cause Resort have perfect swimming pool with warm water. My Family loved it. Thank for good Vacation. (Just need to be improve the meal) :)

The next door resort had a loud live band but this hotel did everything to make our evening quiet. They even moved us to a room in their new large hotel building.

Nice place but a bit noisy withnmusic at night”
The hotel just has been renovated with nice design, spacious room and nice little garden. The owner tried to make it as green as possible and child friendly with a play ground. One thing disturbed me was music at the pool in the evening. The signer sang badly with big volume.

not recommend for those who need to find quiet place”
my beds and pillows had smell like humidity, tv has no channels, they just support iptv. food was very salty and too much msg, and karaoke in restaurant is allowed, which means so noisy. Beside those defects, they still have beautiful garden and nice swiming pool, nice beach for playing, and good wooden floor in bedroom. I don’t recommend for those who like quiet place.

The bungalow type is not clean. Sand/dust is on the bed. Bathroom smells bad, and due to small size, it is really bad the whole room walking in from outside.
