HIGHLY RECOMMENDED UNIQUE HOTEL”
Place is very near most of the delicious food. Only need to walk within 5 minutes to reach the township. Service is very nice and the host is welling to help upon our request. Price is definitely cheap. Facilities are good and the room is clean. Although the building look old but inside is wonderful. Seems like the host put lot of affords on it.

Great family owned hotel”
The hotel is above Vintage Coffee & Bread with the same owner. The aunty and uncle are very friendly. Even the outside looks ordinary, inside is super clean and well maintained. I stayed in 6 bed mix dorm, but was the only guest in the room. It's located just one or two blocks away from the famous bean sprout chicken restaurants, but also quiet. Bathroom is clean, and hot water is working well. Anything not satisfactory? Breakfast is traditional Malaysia style, coffee, two half coocked eggs, and toast with kaya jam. It's delicious that I wish I could have more.

Clean and recommended”
Bed, sheets, towels are hotel quality. You're guaranteed to have a good rest. They serve a classic Nanyang breakfast which encapsulates the taste of Ipoh. Coffee served here is actually better than the ones tourist flock to. Host is very friendly 😊.

Retro spin on a hotel”
My wife and I enjoyed the look and feel of the place. Hotel's really clean but the doors to the room can be small (we had big backpacks, the doors are double hung doors with the width of a single doorway so we had to unlock one side in order to enter) and the free breakfast was the classic toast, coffee and soft boiled eggs set, which was enough for us. The host is great and recommended us a myriad of food places to eat. Location is not bad either, near to many good food, but is a distance away from Concubine's Lane, Old Town.

A unique experience for me living in a refurbished old shophouse but it's not my type of hotel. Not saying it's no good, just not my type: Narrow doorway and hallway. It's clean and neat though...Room well-equipped and so on. Water dispenser, microwave in the hallway. Cafe in the lobby.

Super bad experience”
A very very terrible & unpleasant experience with this hostel, please beware with the front desk emotional old lady who will check you in with bad attitude and negative words of mouth. Insist a deposit of rm100 or else shouted at you and say 'sorry i cant check you in'. If u don't have rm100 in hand, please do not ever come and check in this hostel , u will get scolded and ask to leave the premises by the old lady there, despite payment being made already. Such a no star hostel expect a deposit of rm100 is absolutely ridiculous. Never ever stay in this hostel if u dont have rm100 in hand for the deposit. The services i received from this hostel is the worst I've ever encounter in life, a pleasant trip will get spoil immediately once u check in this hotel, so as your mood. Room is so small and cramped, so limited space for a fully opened 24'' luggage.

TOP PLACE to stay in Ipoh ”
A very nice and helpful family opened this nice and brand new hostel some months ago. They did everything for the their guests you are thinking to be at home. They let me check-in some hours before and explained everything to explore the nice aerea in and around Ipoh. They're offering free citymaps and a nice coffee shop and restaurant next door. Cold water and a flatscreen TV is free, the AC works quite and good.👍 The common bathrooms are at good size and everything is so clean. Thank you a lot! You did everything I enjoy my time in Ipoh and in your hotel!

Great value for money”
A quaint place that's clean and not noisy. It's close to a famous place that serves shaved ice and various food. Despite wearing my shoes all the way to my room, the place is clean although I wished I'd brought my slippers for my trips to the bathroom. Towel, shampoo and body wash are provided. There's also a water dispenser, a microwave and a TV in the common area. Each bed has at least a socket and a reading light. I'll definitely come back whenever I need to stay over in Ipoh again.

The hotel is better than picture, and the staff is very very helpful and friendly. Location is right in the centre that walks away from restaurant and brick &bread (or others) bars, 5MYR to the heritage trails or the Ipoh railway station.

nothing can be complainted. overall is satisfied our needed in term of ideal location with food carving within walking distances. hosts are family business and they provided a lot information to us where to go and plan our trip in Ipoh. Important is they are friendly and nice ! my 2 kids were happy to stay there and love their breakfast too.

Nearly perfect”
I stayed for two nights. I was able to spend comfortably because clean and quiet. In addition, there is water server for free. The location is good because there is some famous restaurant near the hotel. There is one thing I'd like to worry about. It is equipment management. for example, the toilet paper was not replenished during my stay. In short, they are not conducting equipment management. But this is trivial, I was glad that I stayed at this hotel.

Super warm and friendly staff, treats you like part of their family members. Simple and yet tasty breakfast. Very accommodative. Near to famous tong sui kai and restaurants, 7mins walk to gerbang night market. Guarded parking. Just love this vintage interior designed hotel. Definitely be back again. Cozy Stay”
Having a great stay here. The hotel is run by a family and the host treats us really nice like we are back to home. Walking distance to old town. The facilities are in a nice condition. A bit noisy at nighttime considering it is just next to food street. I would definitely recommend other friends to stay here too.

Comfort and clean bed and no bed bugs. Shared toilets and showers well maintained and good equiped. Free hot and cold drinking water supply. Friendly staff with great assistance. Location near to coffeeshops for foodies. Near to bank. Plenty of car park lots. Quiet place with least noisy cars around. Worth the price for BnB.
