Good place to stay”

Its a good place to stay in this non touristy town. The local people are really inquisitive of tourists but very friendly & helpful (as ever in Vietnam!). The only down-side to the hotel was breakfast ...if you eat local/noodle/rice its gonna be good but they couldn't cook eggs if their life depended on it - rather funny at the time. The staff are very helpful - maps, advice & will arrange transport but keep it to taxis as their on-cost for train/long distance is not worth it. I broke our TV by messing with the settings they tried to fix it but couldn't so just changed rooms - that was good of them! The beach is really nice & quiet. Local eateries on the waterfront/harbour (not beachside) are very good & very cheap. We tried Bob's American too but it was VERY disappointing. You really can't grumble at the price ...ps there's a large hotel just up the road (on same side near crossroads) with a pool.

The hotel has potential! Decent for two stars! Staff is friendly one familiar with guests but appear to have received no formal training in customer 's service! Hotel is not clean! Signs of dust and debris from lack of upkeep over the years everywhere! Just look st the elevator and the door frame that is loaded with dust on the side! The so-called breakfast area is way under standard! The cloth covered chairs are filthy and the dirty and stained tablecloth not changed! Not sure if it was ever washed? When hotel is not full, breakfast food is brought over from The restaurant from across the street!

Extended our stay because of the comfortable conditions. Staff were very helpful and one person spoke very good English, which was very helpful in this city.

Avoid - bad management”

- Paid for a Superior room; arrived at the hotel, they were cheaper... not been proposed a refund; then the girl at the desk gave us a Standard room; when I realized it, I went back to the desk... exchange for a Superior room, without even a "sorry"... and then the Superior room smelled moisture. Just totally unfriendly and unprofessional person at the desk (and by the way, my partner is Vietnamese, so this is *not* a language issue... she was shocked too. Supposed to include a hair drier (so important for our sweethearts)... took two days and three complains to receive it. - Overpriced scooters. - We traveled 3 months in Vietnam... never ever had such an *infect* included breakfast... we ended up skipping it altogether. A real shame.

Dirty bedroom, Broken Locks and bad receptionist”

I can't understand why they gave us the most terrible bedroom like that. The locks are broken down. When I claimed it to the receptionist, they only laughed at me without any apology or changing my bedroom. I didn't say any word but it is totally nightmare for me to stay here.

Hotel hat seine beste Zeit hinter sich”

Das Personal spricht leider kein Englisch, was die Kommunikation sehr erschwert. Man ist aber zumeist höflich und bemüht. Die Sauberkeit ist mittelmäßig, so teilten wir unser Zimmer mit Ameisen und Eidechsen. Auch sonst scheint das Hotel seine beste Zeit längst hinter sich zu haben.
