Does exactly what it sets out to do”
The Hop Inn chain is a great way to enjoy travelling around Thailand. The hotels are all the same, built to a spec and all have adequate car parking facilities, with night security guard. All rooms are furnished with great comfortable beds, a fantastic shower room, and even a little balcony if you cannot go too long without a cigarette. No restaurant, but great free coffee from the machine in reception 06.00 to 11.00. I love this chain, and always use the hotels when traveling around the country, great accommodation at a great price, win win.

Just what you can expect from the Hop Inn group . Basic clean friendly hotel . I have stayed here many times . The only down side is the music from outside venues vibrate throughout your room until midnight. It doesn’t bother me as I’m not in the room until late . A nice friendly security guard man’s the car park ensuring your vehicle is safe

I like the hop inn group as you know what to expect with standards similar at each hotel . If you are not using the swimming pool or restaurant then Hop Inn is for you . Great basic but comfortable and clean rooms.

What we needed”
It was a good hotel for what we needed, as we traveled all day and only used the room to shower, relax and recharge. Very efficient check in/out. Good size room with comfortable bed and all what we needed for the two nights. No kettle in room or tea/coffee but they made up for it by having free coffee machine in reception area until 11 am. As a budget hotel, they do not provide daily shaving razor ot tooth brush or shower cap but have on wall dispensers for shampoo and body gel. We liked the fact they have good size open car parking area complete with CCTVs and security at night. The room has so called balcony but in fact it is just a 1 square meter space enough for one person to have a quick cigarette. All in all and it was a good clean hotel with cheap rate (510 Bahts in January).

Most attributes seem decent: convenience, price, and friendliness. But air conditioning is not adjustable and WiFi not usable, the latter being particularly annoying. When one is in the hotel lobby to ask or show front desk about WiFi, the problem vanishes making the inquirer look stupid.
