Excellent value for money”
This was my second hotel in Yogyakarta, I booked it mostly for location and thus did not scrutinize the pictures like I usually do. In person, Hotel Bladok turned out to be very charming architecturally (wood features, pond and pool with waterfalls), all the staff were extremely helpful, and the price/value ratio was the best I've experienced after almost two months of travel. Travellers need to know that it's an old-fashioned hotel, though: I had a fan (not AC), no modern plumbing (squat toilet, no sink), and the big windows to the corridors do not block any sound. But it is clean, the price unbeatable, the pool a huge bonus, and I would stay here again without hesitation.

Close to train and Malioboro street”
Great location, it's only a very short walk to the train station and Malioboro street. Also very easy to walk to the Kraton and other museums. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Simple, clean room is an excellent value with such a great location! Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great value hotel in good location!”
I stayed for 2 nights in an 'economy room', which was basic but had all the facilities I needed and was very clean, with a very comfortable bed! The hotel has a very nice atmosphere with a large fish pond and lovely swimming pool. You could help yourself to hot jasmine tea in the corridor which was a really nice touch and the staff were very helpful in providing a vegan breakfast for me. The hotel is in a great location near to the train station and Malioboro street, but can be a bit noisy at night due to entertainment in the nearby restaurants and bars - but nothing a good pair of earplugs won't solve! I really enjoyed my stay here :-)

The Hotel is near from Malioboro”
The location of this hostel maybe only 300 m from Malioboro. I've booked the room with balcony and the view was amazing... But, I want to say about Electric Socket. At my room has one Electric socket, it means very difficult to charge your handphone when you carry more than one handphone.. I hope for next time, the room at least has 2 Electric socket..

Very attractive building and lovely staff”
Really good option in an excellent location, the hotel has a colonial and courtyard style about it and a small pool within, as well as a basic breakfast included. The staff were consistently friendly and smiling. Only disappointments were wifi, which was pretty patchy in the rooms, and the en suite bathroom. This may be a Javanese phenomenon, but there is no sink, a squat toilet only which unfortunately had the smell of old faeces one day, and a pretty cold shower. The bedroom was comparatively delightful!

A pleasant stay at Bladok Hotel”
A great location that is only walking distance from Malioboro, Bladok Hotel offers nice facilities including a swimming pool at such an affordable price. Although no breakfast is included, they have some good chicken noodle downstairs in case you're not in the mood to go out for lunch or dinner. The only downside from my stay was that there was a problem with electricity that it was out on my second day for around 7 hours. A bit messed up with my schedule as a remote worker, but other than that they have all the top-notch facilities including a terrace, a strong internet connection, and helpful staff who are happy to assist you. Totally recommended!

Good location close to Malioboro. Staffs are all friendly & polite. Eventhough the choice of breakfast is limited (choose 1 among 5 menus) but the taste is not too bad. Poor wifi connection in the room. Wifi only available in common area. You cannot get totally non-smoking room coz people free to smoke outside the room (outside every single room has its own terrace with 2 chairs & 1 table) since it’s kind of outdoor setting with fish pond & a swimming poll in the middle.

Warm rooms but nice place and good quality price”
We had some issues with water and the room was pretty hot. However the service was good, people were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and the swimming pool, it's definitely worth it for the price, really close to the train station and Malioboro.
