I’ve been given room 612. Everything is good. Super smooth check in. Friendly front desk. The room was big and clean. Kids love the bathtub. Breakfast was good although there was no buffet. Nice restaurant, convenient store all nearby within walking distance. During checkout my husband accidentally left his wedding ring in our room totally forgot about it and the staff call to inform. Thank you to the staff who found and report it. God bless you. Definitely would stay here again if i come to Ipoh

Business with Leisure at Excelsior”
Staff is friendly and I was overwhelmed by their services. Food is super delicious and rooms are sparkling clean! My children is a total chaos when it comes to dine in and accidently my youngest has broken the glass. Kitchen staff was there to quickly sweep and mopped the floor and took away the broken glass. I asked if I can pay for the broken glass but they refused to ask me any. Thanks! Excelsior has always my favorite choice when I came to Ipoh.

Exceptional”
It is my favorite hotel whenever I come to Ipoh. The room, towels , bed sheet etc are very clean. Room's lighting is bright enough for reading. This hotel is new or just renovated and well maintained. Car parks are available from 1-4th floor and outside the hotel. Those big car drivers have to be more careful while driving into in door car park as the drive way is narrow with sharp turning. Food restaurants are available just nearby.

I have stayed here before and this time was just as good. The staff is helpful and friendly, the room is clean and quiet, and the location is perfect and close to everything you need. I called to ask what time housekeeping comes to the room and they sent them within 2 minutes. Very nice place and I will definitely stay here when in Ipoh again.

Great location, limited parking space ”
I always travel to Ipoh and stay in various properties, this time I chose to stay in this property. To my surprise, staying in this property is one of the best. The location is great, very convenient. There is a lot of shops nearby. In the morning, I eat dim sum at famous shops in Ipoh, and the shops are just behind this hotel. At night, I want to have some supper and have dessert, the famous tong sui gai is just a walking distance. After having food, if you need some massage, the massage shops are just downstairs. The hotel room is good , clean and seems quite safe to stay during this pandemic period. Reception staffs react promptly to our request. During my stay, some of my friends who are regular traveler to Ipoh called me, and I direct share my experience and recommend this hotel to them. This hotel will be my top choice if I travel to Ipoh again. I will for sure book this hotel again as long as the price suits my appetite. Anyway, really highly recommend this property !

I have never thought Excelsior was this satisfying as it was an old hotel and not fanciful like newer hotels. But to my surprise everything was superb ....Nice hotel ambiance, clean and modern bathroom, comfy beds and acceptable cable TV channels. Nearby within walking distance to Foh San good dim sum place and IPOH chicken rice. I will definitely stay here again.

Good Location, Family Friendly Hotel”
Good Location, near to all eateries, except during MCO period, not all eateries are in business operations. Booked a Family Room, had 2 queen size bed, great arrangement for young family like us. The room is very spacious, close to 500sf, can sleep comfortably as the bed quality is good.

The location is so convenient to all the popular eating places . We walked to Ming Court Dimsum for breakfast . Delicious dimsum. Yummy. We also walked to Cowan Street Taugeh chicken kuehtiao restaurant. The hotel room is very clean, and lighting is sufficiently bright. The aircon is cold enough. We stayed on the thirteenth floor.

Very thoughtful Staff!”
Upon arrival as the my room was having some electrical problem hence the thoughful staff upgraded me to a Junior Suite which is very spacious and comfortable for my family ! Overall the room is very clean, parking is available though first come first serve, the location in town centre!

Exceptional”
Spacious and clean room. The only negative point is the room that facing at the back street there is an old shop lot that converted to bird house hence very noisy. Also, we stayed at 6th floor which the pub at 5th floor noise can be heard till mid night. Other than that, this hotel is a perfect hotel.

Room was clean and tidy. Spread for breakfast is not much, but food was tasty esp. curry noodles. Convenient to walk to town. On downside, parking space were tight and spiral lanes are quite narrow. Overall it was good stay and highly recommended for budget stay.

Easy access to famous shops in Ipoh with its strategic location. Grab go everywhere below RM10 and easy to get. Staff are helpful, spacious and comfortable room. Toilet show sign of wear and tear but in good condition. Will stay here again next time

A very good hotel with attentive staff. Room are very clean, hotel at strategic location, good facilities and breakfast. Fast check-in/check-out. The only down side is the driving lane to upstairs parking is slightly narrow. Other than that everything is excellent.

First time checking in this great hotel! We were greeted with very friendly staffs from the doorstep and also the reception. Staffs from the housekeeping and also the restaurant staffs were very kin and helpful in fulfiling our requests. Cleaniness of the room were definitely satisfy. The modern room and bathroom designs give extra credits to our stay.
