they live up to their standards. customer service was amazing from the moment we step foot til the moment we left. breakfast spread was amazing, cleanliness was good, staffs are AWESOME, view was amazing too. the only conplain i have is if the bread and butter pudding was chocolate chips nistead of raisins. ahahaha. but this is a perfecto place ever!

The room was spacious enough, clean and quite well kept. The room's view towards the HI roundabout was quite beautiful. Breakfast was terrific and vast. Staff were all very polite, helpful and attentive. The building itself is full of historical meanings. All in all.. we had a terrific stay !

The Iconic hotel in Jakarta. One of the best hotel we've been to. Prime location in the middle of the city and really close to the shopping malls. Also near to the MRT station. Breakfast have quite of options from traditional Indonesian cuisine, Asian (sushi), and American breakfast. Make sure to book on the weekend so you can enjoy the Car Free Day session on a Sunday morning.

- Check in took 30-40minutes, could be better. Staffs are very helpful & hospitable. - Located at the center of the city life (malls, public transportation, etc.) - Clean and well maintained room. - not the best bathing amenities compared to other 5 star hotels with similar price. - Gym's equipments are well maintained with good variation. - Wide variation of breakfast. The dairy & grain products are superb, sushi not so fresh.

At first, my expectations are high for 5 stars hotel .. Con(s) : We checked in around 14.30 .. Then we have to wait 10-30 minutes (we will be called when it’s ready) until we could enter our room. However, more than 30 minutes passed, but there is no phone call. So I’m asking front desk, then suddenly room is ready (?) That is my biggest concern. Pro(s) : All staff member are very kind and nice to us, we also get complimentary 250k IDR for room service. Food wise to follow foreigners taste bud, for Indonesian taste bud maybe you will have to add more seasoning. Room is clean, staffs are more than happy to clean seat, tables and all hardware in my room, there is no dirty area in my room. Very pleasant to live here .. maybe one more time in the future for staycation with my wife .. Thank you Kempinski Jakarta & Agoda 👍

One of our very best Staycation!!! ”
This is our first family outing since the pandemic break early 2020, and our goals is to have a very nice staycation since we've been stay at home more than a years. we choose HI Kempinski as it right in the heart of the city and offer the best city view that we can enjoy without going out of the room - so main goals is to enjoy the room facilities at the most, yes we expect some luxurious things but it surprisingly the hotel has provide beyond our expectation!!!, The room are so spacious for my 2 kids (8 years and 2 years old) to walking around - 64m2!!! its a WOW!! The room furniture are so homey equipped with smart TV, comfy sofa (with pillow), work table and all floor covered with a thick and clean rugs (safe for my 2 yo daughter), while i had to highly appreciate the staff as they willing to give us the best view room as we requested (our room is right at the top left of the main building directly faced to the "Bunderan HI". and the best thing is is the large Bath Tub facing the same view angle as the room has!! , i have to mentioned that the this bath tub bowl are so large and it fit for 2 adult and 2 kids to laid down.. i would say this is the main attraction of the hotel room we choose, we are spending 2-3 hours chilling under the warm water (by the way we bought bubble soap on the Grand Indonesia shopping mall just next to the hotel to complete the day) while at the same time we are enjoy the Jakarta night view and seeing the sun rise on the next day. what a wonderful staycation we had.. Thanks HI Kempinski, you've make my short getaway are so meaningful.

Hotel Indonesia is a historical gem for Indonesia, and is located in the most central area possible. Rooms are generously sized with amazing views of the city below. The breakfast buffet was amazing - better than many other five star hotels I have visited. The choices for food and beverages are extensive, serving Indonesian, Japanese and western cuisines, with fresh juice, coffee, tea, and Jamu (a local Indonesian beverage - a must try!) available on offer. Many items are prepared fresh for guests (pancakes, waffles, eggs, meat, sushi). The staff were very caring and attentive to detail, and all staff speak fluent English. A special mention to Ruki, who although was a bellboy, went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure everything was perfect, even arranging our luggage throughout our room as we arrived, and helping us navigate Jakarta and tourist attractions. This was our first time staying in Hotel Indonesia and we absolutely recommend it for anyone wishing to visit Indo

Ive stayed for couple days with my partner here for doing the healing activity. We were so excited with the bathtub and ofc the view was pretty amazing at night. Cant wait to visit again as soon as possible and hope they could improve the breakfast menu. The thing that I could still remember while stayin in Kempinski were the corridors on the 15th floor smells bed and we had a hard time dealing with the card key while tapping in the lift, hopefully they could improve it too but overall, Definitely will recommend Kempinski Hotel Jakarta to my fellas. - very friendly service from all hotel stuff (full of smile) - allow early check in at no extra cost if room is ready - prepared baby soaps as requested :) - big bed (super king) cant fit us and 2 young childreb - very clean bathroom (what I concerned most) - gave oral b toothbrushes!! (Not those cheap brushes) - lots of selection for breakfast buffet - warm little whirpool on the swimming pool area a plus point - tv can do youtube! - the kids loved the super big bathtub facing the HI (biggest one I ever tried so far in a hotel) Love it.
