A very satisfying stay”
We arrived just in time for check in,.the staff were all very helpful and and friendly soo nice towards us. Upon check in i told the front desk that im celebrating my birthday here and if possible i want a room with a very nice view. She was so kind,upgraded our room and gave us a spacious room facing KLCC tower. I accidentally left my make up bag at the counter and when i went down to find the bag,a staff (i forgot his name) approached me and told that the bag is safe and kept by them. I was so happy and relief,cannot imagine if i lost the bag,lots of things inside. All in all it was a really nice experience staying there,we just walked to LV store near Pavillion. Beautiful hotel in perfect location.”
This is our second stay at this hotel and we actually had to stay 4 nights as AirAsia had cancelled our original flight. It is ideally located to walk to the major shopping areas of Bukit Bintang and even the Petronas Towers with a monorail station across the road to access other areas. All the staff are very polite and professional, the rooms are great and the facilities are good. We love the massive buffet breakfast but it can get hectic at times. We will definately book here on our next trip to KL.

I stayed in this fine establishment for the second time, and this was the longest stay I have ever been in one hotel (11 days). It was a hassle-free early check-in and pleasant surprise to find complimentary chocolates and fruit basket in the room, although I booked a standard room. My favourite place is the sports bar in the hotel and rearranging the area has given a better feel for the bar. Especially Mark knows how to make you feel welcomed and take care of you (80's music. cheers mate!!!) This time I missed Nora and Asmed (Hope I got the name right this time) for Hari Rayan holidays. Shree at the front desk was highly helpful and always with a big smile. The hotel is old, but it is functional. More than the hotel facilities or the location staff is the main asset of the hotel. Thank you for making my stay memorable. It felt like my second home. Hope you all are doing fine. I am looking forward to visiting you all soon.

Comfy and spacious ”
Room is big and comfortable, even though the building is abit old, the room has a big toilet bathtub and clean, with complete facilities, bed is comfortable. All service crew are very friendly.

Convenient Hotel with Friendly Staff”
The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Pavilion Shopping Mall in the Bukit Bintang Area. Closer to the hotel is an MRT and also a monorail station, and there is a bus stop where you can board free shuttle buses. We found the blue line to be interesting and it connects at the bus station with the red line which is the best route for sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was the best we’ve encountered at any hotel, the staff members are friendly and helpful and the pool is quite large and the water warm. We had a problem with the room but this was sorted out by Wiwin and the Concierge, Mr Zambia Baharudin. Strongly recommended.

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. The hotel recently refurbished never disappoints. Clean, stylish, friendly staff with big rooms and big bathrooms. Central to most areas of the golden triangle with good walkways and pavements.

Old hotel recently refurbished”
The Istana is now owned by Tradewinds Corp - the same company that bought the City Centre Hilton and knocked it down. So there was talk of this iconic KL landmark suffering the same fate. But instead they have refurbished it and it now offers a clean spacious room, excellent coffee shop/restaurant and all room amenities work well. Plenty of car parking and right in the middle of everything. Free wifi that has a good speed. Staff are helpful without being overbearing and you can easily get a taxi or Grabcar. The bar, which was closed for years is now open again but is rather quiet. But cangkat Bukit Bintang and Pavilion are both 5 minutes walk away so you have plenty of evening dining and recreational opportunities.

if you are interested in kl nightlife, this place is a must stay to experience the nightlife. it is walking distance to changkat and also suzy wong. the club room was huge and there is a separate check in counter for visitors.

Check in was smooth, we received our key in less than 10 mins even though the hotel was packed with guests. As soon as we entered our room, I immediately noticed a strong cigarette smell and my husband confirmed it too. (I believe the previous guest smoked in the room and didn’t bother if it’s a non-smoking room). I called reception to request for a room change because I had my 2 young kids with me. I didn’t expect to be given a different room very fast but within 15 minutes the bell rang and voila! The bellman was already outside our room with the trolley and a key to our new room! I was so impressed with the service and how fast they resolved customer’s issue. Thank you for the great service, I definitely recommend this hotel because nothing beats great service quality. Thumbs up!
