Beautiful hotel! ”
This is a beautiful hotel located just next street to Jonker Walk! The hotel is made up of 2 units of heritage building linked together and decorated with lots of antiques and beautiful work of arts that I spent hours exploring and admiring and a small garden that you can sit and relax in. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, check in and out process was fast, the rooms spacious, clean toilets with hot water and good air-conditioning. The hotel is on a street full of beautiful heritage buildings and within walking distance to the Melaka River and nearby places of interests. Will definitely stay here again.

Puri Hotel was all we needed for just a one night stay. It was clean, and centrally located. It also comes with free parking! For the price, it exceeded my expectation. Would recommend to anyone who’s not too fussed and looking for somewhere simple and clean

A Beautiful Hotel in City Center!”
We love the decoration & furniture of this hotel, it is in an unique styles! It is clean, quite, well located in the city center. It is perfect for non-smoker. Please take note that there is no signal in the room for Maxis most of the time. I hope they could improve the Wi Fi signal which is quite weak in our room. The air-cond is function well but the blower produced noise, maybe it is time to replace the blower bearing. Overall, I would say this hotel is a good choice for tourists, especially those who wish to spend some time at Jonker street. Many popular restaurants and tourist spots & river banks are within walking distance! In fact this hotel itself is a tourist spot to me!

This was my fav hotel before the pandemic and even now. Their staff goes the extra mile in helping people, although they now face a shortage of manpower. Just note that breakfast is currently not available, but I heard they will resume breakfast service this Aug.

I stayed once at puri in 2019 before the pandemic and the experience is unforgettable. This time the first hotel that comes to my mind was Puri, no doubt. Nothing more i can say about this property. Just that the staff at the reception seems to downgrade in quality compared to 2019. But overall the room still maintains it’s quality of cleanliness and standard. Highly recommended. Will be staying at this place whenever i am in melaka for work or just for a weekend trip.

Rundown but still ok”
Negative: 1. The hotel was partially opened during our stay. They closed almost 2/3 of the total areas perhaps due to lack of staffs and still recovering from the impact of the lockdown. 2. Breakfast is not provided but the room charges are still the same. Positive: 1. The hotel still maintain its charm and beautiful as always. 2. The room and surrounding are relatively clean and inviting. 3. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
