Hotel located in the citycenter with staff speaking good english. The rooms are rather small but for few night stay just fine. Best part of the stay was a full day boat trip to floating markets, garden and noodle factory which the hotel arranged for us. It was trough the mekongtours.info and our guide Han who is only 19 eyars old knows absolutely everything about Vietnam! Ask for him!

Budget hotel within means”
This hotel is centrally located. When check in, I observed the linen had not been changed. There was no tv and locker in the room. The staff was friendly, helpful and able to communicate freely with me in English.

The room was clean but everything is worn out. The breakfast was very minimal. This is more of a hostel than a hotel and should be priced accordingly.

Hotel Xoai 's great, clean, comfy & nice staff”
We only stayed for 2 nights in Can Tho; so 2 nights in Xoai (deluxe room @4th floor) was probably the best option. Since they already had like so many positive reactions and reviews (@tripadvisor too) it was our first choice. And we didn't get disappointed! The staff is great, really nice people, and helpful too. Most of them speak good English and can tell you interesting stuff about the city and the neighborhood. The hood is like ok, kinda relaxing, not so many tourists, and if you walk a little you will find many cheap and good local food-stands or restaurants. On every corner you van get coffee Sua Da. One even better than the other. I asked for a good Bún_thịt_nướng (Hanoi food) place and the staff showed me on the map. There's a place where they serve an awesome Sinh To Dau (strawberry shake). You will have to go right when you leave the hotel, at the end of the street cross it to the left, and there you have it; for me the best Sinh To Dau of Can Tho (17000 dong). There's not a lot to do around Can Tho, but still you can really enjoy yourself, if you are into meeting with the locals etc. We just like to walk around these kinda cities and just relax. For us, we always enjoy watching people and their daily routines. We also did like the short Floating Market tour. We arranged this at the hotel. It think the boat costed uhm I dunno not really sure, but I think the private boat (3 persons) costs about 15 dollar. The tour takes 3 hours and of course you will see some more tourists there, but I think the tour was worth it. So yes we would like to recommend it, the Hotel, the location, the people and the tour. For us it was perfect (for 2 nights). Enjoy!

Excellent value and awesome staff”
This was the best hotel at our two week holiday in Vietnam. We got an amazing value for money. We were a group of 20 people and had a fantastic time at Hotel Xoai. The hotel offers all the features International travelers are looking for. It is clean and comfortable. While budget rooms are small, they also have bigger "L" rooms available. There are water dispensers throughout the building and you get free coffee and tea at the reception. The roof terrace offers a beautiful view over the city. Internet is very fast and there are PCs available in the lobby. Sites like facebook were blocked in most of the places we visited in Vietnam, but they all worked here. We also booked a tour to the floating market. We got picked up in the morning and had a wonderful day. It turned out that we got a very good deal after talking to other travelers in the city. The staff and the owner Hong Phuc and Mario are very nice and helpful and gave us excellent advice for our last days in Vietnam.

It was our oasis”
We came from Chau Doc to Can Tho and chose this place due to the good reviews. And we were so happy we did! The room and hotel were clean. The shower delivered hot water (although due to it being heated from solar panels it can take a little time to come through). The bed was quite comfortable, if a little hard. The rooms are quite small but this didn't cause the two of us any problems. Our room had a computer which has access to many films if you decide to spend the night in - we were only in Can Tho for 3 days so we didn't. The staff were friendly and most of them during the main hours spoke good english. There is a rooftop with hammocks were you can relax. Although on a main road our room was very quiet. The hotel is a 15-20 min walk from the riverside, so this may be an issue for some. It wasn't for us as we enjoyed the walk and didn't send all our time at the riverside. 'Hotpot alley' is not too far away if you want to taste some authentic Vietnamese food. Can Tho was the best place we stayed in the Delta, and this hotel helped us enjoy it.

Great budget hotel!”
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Xoai for 2 nights. The room was very small, but had all necessary amenities and was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. Also, wi-if is fast! The hotel has a great little rooftop sitting area with hammocks and tables that looks out over the city. Hotel staff are very friendly and speak great English! It is a bit of a hike from the river and main tourist area, but if you don't like to walk it's a very short cab ride away. We did the food tour offered through the hotel and it was awesome! Would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

superb value and service”
I just stayed one night as I stopped in town to visit friends. Hotel Xoai was a perfect find. It's close to the riverside and many great restaurants and cafes. It was reasonably priced for me to have a room to myself. The room was clean and had a big window overlooking the street, and I had a view of the famous Quang Duc pagoda. There was also a lovely rooftop lounge area. The staff spoke English well and were very helpful and friendly. As a bonus, they serve free coffee and water.

Hotel Xoai is great value for money, small but clean rooms. The staff is really helpful for booking tours and advice for onward travels. They booked our bus to HoChiMinh with no additional fees, so kind and helpful. We would recommend staying there if you are in Can Tho for a night or two.

Excellent budget hotel with an AMAZING food tour”
You can find my (extremely) long review for this hotel on Tripadvisor, so if you are staying here read that. In short: Clean rooms, small, but everything you need. This is basically a great budget choice for Can Tho, in a great area but the biggest assets of this hotel are the efficient, friendly, helpful staff. This stay will be one of our highlights due to a free food tour offered by Phuoc, a young member of staff. The food was excellent and we would have never found the places without him. We did the floating market tour also, which was interesting and worth it for the money.

the hotel just recently opened. it is very modern and has a beautiful design with nice it inspired artworks on the walls. we really enjoyed staying at the hotel. there is free water and coffee available and you will find any information on things to do in and around can tho easily from the very friendly english speaking staff. we had two twin rooms, which featured a pc with some tv shows. the rooms are comfortable and clean, offer ac and fans. we can only highly recommend this place.

We stayed in the hotel Xoai in a budget room for 3 nights. The room was small, without a fridge or TV but an a/c and a shower were very good. Our room was cleaned every day, which is not so common in Vietnam. I must admit that this is staff that makes this place a great placr to stay. When we arrived to the hotel after 12 hours of travelling tired and dreaming only about a shower and a bed, we were given two comlimentary glasses of watermelon shake, which were brought by a receptionist to our room. Furthermore, we booked a Mekong delta trip through the hotel, together with an English speaking guide and the trip was worth every penny. We were afraid that a guide's English will be poor but her English was amazing and we found out really a lot about Vietnamese culture and life. Another thing was a trip to the local restaurants organised by one of the staff. We were not sure where we should dine or what we should eat, that excursion to local places showed us a local side of Vietnam, as well as we could meet other travellers staying in the hotel. It was a fun night. It is good to see that staff in this hotel shows some initiative. I would trully recommend this place to stay in.

Good hotel with good people. The room was a bit small but for a few bucks more you can get a really big room. We didn't find the size any issue though. Very ecologically friendly with hot water provided by the solar panels. A bit of a walk to the center of the city though, but it was somewhat quieter than if it was in the center.

We stayed for one night at the Hotel Xoai. The staff was fluent in English and really friendly and helpful. They provided us solid information on a tour on the Mekong Delta. The hotel is centrally located. We booked for a budget room ($15/ night): clean, convenient, even though it was quite small. But it was perfect for us.
