"my wife and i stayed here on our first anniversary and found the experience wonderful. the rooms were large, comfortable and pleasantly furnished. the hotel is located on a quiet corner of the beach, away from the main alona beach strip (but it can be quickly access by car or habal-habal), that is very private and beautiful with lovely sunsets and views of balicasag island and the virgin islands. the restaurant is also a major benefit of this resort. the food is fresh and tasty--many ingredients come from their own garden--and the service was very good. the restaurant was easily the among the best of restaurants that we ate at during our time in bohol and also among the best prices in the alona beach area. even if you don't stay at the resort, it's worth a trip to the restaurant. more than once, my wife and i commented that it reminded us of our honeymoon hotel in thailand, a conde nast gold listed ritz-carlton (that cost 10x more). we would both highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing and romantic beach-side getaway. it is definitely worth a little bit more than the lower cost resorts on alona beach...and probably worth more than the higher cost resorts there too."

"i booked the Hotel here at agoda for 4 days. unfortunatley we were in zamboanga during the siege and can´t get out of there. we was able to get out of zamboanga just a day before our check out was. we decided to go to the Hotel as we arrived in bohol. it was our check out day. we ask if there maybe is a possibility to have the room for the next two days without any other payment cause of our Situation not getting out of zamboanga, something like a rebooking. the Lady at the reception told us she has to ask the owner of the Hotel if it is possible. cause she can´t decide. but we can use the room first. after some time she came up and inform us that the owner allowed us to stay for the next 2 days without any addional payment! which was really great and i think not possible in other Hotels cause we wasn´t there to our check in. Thank you again! we really really appreciate it. some things about the Hotel: the Hotel is new and the rooms are very good. the bed is big and very very comfortable. one of the best beds i ever slept in. the bathroom is a bit small but for me still good. the balcony overlooking the pool and the beach is also very nice. the pool is great. the staff is very helpfull and nice also. the Hotel is a bit away from alona beach but the Hotel has an own shuttle Service. we used it everytime when we wanted to go to alona beach. we didn´t try the Food in the Hotel so i can´t say something about it. i really recommend the Hotel if it is no Problem for you that you are not at alona beach . "The best value 3 star resort in Panglao. Located about 15 mins walk from busy (crazy) Alona beach, it is nice to be away from the centre but still be close enough - you can jump on a moto for 50 pesos or tuktuk for 100 pesos to get to Alona if you don't want to walk. Best thing about Bohol Sea Resort is that it's quiet and has a great pool and restaurant area - nice to just relax and spend time there. Food is a little bit pricey but ingredients are good and servings are large. Resort is on the beach so you can watch the amazing pink Panglao sunsets there, but it is too shallow to swim. I recommend the Dive shop at the resort - I am just a snorkeler but you can join a scuba diving trip to Balicasag island that is cheaper than the snorkeling trips sold at Alona beach. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights and we wished we could stay longer...but sadly they were booked up for Christmas!! The room is stunning, cleaned everyday, fresh towels, free water, free toiletries and a comfy bed. The living area in the room was perfect too, comfy couch with a TV, was lovely in the evenings. The pool area is just perfect too, although some more sun loungers would be good in the busy times. The staff are super friendly and always smiling. The breakfast was very nice too. I would be great if the hotel served lunch and dinner too, but you can order food from nearby restaurants and they’ll deliver it to your room. Although the hotel isn’t very close to Alona Beach, a trike is only 100PHO and the staff will call you one when you need it. This truly was a perfect hotel, one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, in Asia. 100% recommend!!"

"we stayed 3 nights in this hotel and would have stayed longer if we hadn't already booked our other hotels. great price for what you get. comfortable and clean rooms. provide rental of motorbikes which you need to get around. a quick ride to the beach from the hotel. rooms have balconies overlooking the small pool in the back. not very many rooms in this hotel so no one ever in the pool. we would recommend this hotel for others to stay in. downside is that there is no onsite restaurant but they do have drinks available and they will help you order in food from a nearby restaurant. a little slow in coming but good food."
