"Arrived in tagbilaran by ferry and before even getting off we look out into the city and saw a building that was higher than the others. Had a hunch that it was the Belian hotel but wasn't sure. We were thinking that if it was that, then we had scored because it was very close to the port. As we exited the port, it became clear that it was the hotel! So that was good. It is a walking distance , however, like anywhere in the Philippines, you get tricycle drivers who would persist in taking you somewhere. And since it was hot and we were tired, we did ride the tricycle. Also saved us from having to carry out luggages. First impression of the hotel - very clean and modern. Especially for something in the province! They provided welcome drinks and the staff were very polite and helpful - we hadn't been to Bohol before and they were helpful in giving us directions and tours. Room was very clean too and so was the bathroom. They were both very spacious for two people. I requested for a late checkout over the phone as we were running late coming back from panglao island. But they were strict on this because they were apparently booked out. Came back to the hotel and we couldn't access the room with our key even with our luggages still inside. Had to go back to reception to ask for the key to be resetted. It was understandable that they couldn't let us check out late because it's booked for after but I would have appreciated it if they tried to understand that we only needed an extra 15 mins since we were to catch a ferry right after anyway. Instead she turned me down straight away. Also there were heaps of people who checked out even later than us. It was a very pleasant stay and good value for money. Another plus is they actually have a free shuttle service to the port so we were able to avail that. Just disappointing that we hadn't known when we arrived and had to spend money on a tricycle."

"This is my 1st visit to Bohol, though I've been to the Philippines several times already. My elated experience was enhanced considerably during my 3 nights' stay @ Metrocentre Hotel The staff are very welcoming & helpful. Every enquiry & assistance needed is dealt with promptly. Location of Hotel is perfect - right in the hub of Capital City Tabilarang, with easy access to shops, malls, eateries, jetty etc. Transport too is very convenient & readily available. Hotel is well-kept. Clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, air-con, tv with many channels & good wifi. Breakfasts - quality & quantity -all ok. I enjoyed eating them. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Many thanks for the happy memories."

"Highly recommended, apart from very affordable..didn't expect that it would be like 3-4 star hotel. The receptionist are very friendly and helpful. We arrived early like 8am, although our check in time is 2pm but the receptionist tried to help us find a room that we can check in early as we really need to rest from a very early flight (3am) and yes she did gave us a room and maybe because she pitied us as we have 2 kids :D. The room, it's just a normal room but the view is stunning. Surely would book again here in Travelbee Seaside Inn if we are in Tagbilaran City. "

"Booking with Hotel Fleur de Liz was a good choice for us, especially we liked to stay at the city center. It is located near Tagbilaran City center. The hotel is new, I think it was built this year. Although, the bathroom has a bit smelly thing. I'm not sure if its because of the paint or from the sink but yes its a bit smelly. Other than that, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I just hope, they will provide 4 pillows for a family of 3 travelers (we only have two pillows that time). But the staffs their are so friendly plus they gave a prompt response to whatever you need. Lastly, checking in and out was easy and hassle-free.."

"Darunday Manor is a very pleasant and warm hotel with people who accepts you with their warm and lovely smiles in their faces. The hotel is located at the heart of Tagbilaran City and is very near to the Tagbilaran airport. Public vehicles are already availabl in front of the hotel. very near to the shopping malls and hospital. The room is quite small for a twin sharing but their restroom is clean and complete. they offered towels and toilettries for the guest to use it. Also, they offered us a free breakfast all over our 3 days 2 nights stay in the hotel. the room is equipped with wifi connections and telephone to use. one thing that we cannot forget about this hotel are the poeple who stayed there to give you a full 100% service of the things that we needed. Even the owner of the hotel is very accommodating to our inquiries and needs. Keep up the good work and services you are having, Darunday manor."

"The staff are welcoming, helpful, and friendly and sunshiny. The service is five star. The location is quiet. The neighbourhood is safe. Tricycle drivers are honest. However, the facility is old and some rooms need renovation (e.g aircon is old and noisy and some washroom sink and mirror are really low looks like for kids). There are bugs, which is expected in wooden facilities (this hotel is made of mostly woods) like cabins in north america. The free breakfast is good, but I would have had breakfast somehwere close to the tourist attractions for more fun and experience. Overall though it’s cleaner than some four star hotels in the Philippines, safer, and has excellent staff. "
