"The Baba House has one of the best location if you want to visit Malacca. All the main sights - the museums, Stadthuys, river cruise, shopping malls, Jonker street and lots of food options - are within walking distance. The hotel also has free wifi and friendly staff who are more than willing to help with your enquiries. There's also an inhouse spa with massasge. Although the rooms are small, it's clean and comfortable. I do wish they had a mini fridge though. A downside is that the breakfast is very limited and not very good. Just oily fried noodles (which can be cold)... some eggs or sausage... coffe/tes/orange juice. Sometimes you get a small banana. We will definately be back!"

"Another Hotel in Malacca that I've stayed. Has a good location at the heart of Melaka historical town next to the famous Melaka river. Hard Rock Cafe was just a stone throw. Halal food restaurants and stalls were easily available. Room was clean and neat, however the window was of no use as I could not see either the river or street. It was next to the Masjid Hulu Melaka. "

"During Malacca trip, I and family was stayed in Hotel Hallmark. Is a best location because my wife like Jonker Walk very well. Hotel room quite clean and tidy. Our room at 3rd floor. Every floor have a lift is convenience for hotel guests carry their big luggages and also for children and aged people instead of up and down using staircase. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast at Hallmark cafe. Waitress are very friendly and my child like to eat there too. Receiptionist respond very fast once you have any requests. "

"Friendly staff. Right in the heart of Malacca centre. Parking is available for hotel guests at the Stadthuys for a cheaper RM5 flat rate. We had issues with the shower heater, but the staff was quick to address the issue. We had the heater for a while but the problem persisted the next day. Shame we didn’t switch rooms as I assume they were in full capacity during our stay. Would go back again! "
