"When I booked the hotel early this year, there were not many reviews but I decided to give it a try. It turns out that this is probably one of the best beachfront hotel I have ever went to. The room is very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. My parents stay in Deluxe Beachfront room, which is even more spacious and equipped with very good quality bathroom facilities. Staff there are very very nice. Staff in the kitchen even allowed us to order dishes not on the menu as long as we notify them in advance. We were transferring from Alona beach to Anda, and the lady in the front desk helped us to book a van and we didn't even bother to check-in when we arrived (probably also because this is a small hotel). The only pity is that there is not much fish and coral to see for snorkeling near the hotel, only sea urchin and starfish. We also dived with another dive shop, the underwater environment was not as good as that of diving sites near Alona beach. But the tranquility and the view are unbeatable. "

"we had such a wonderful experience staying in the resort. we are happy that we chose to travel at this time of the year. the resort especially the beach, looked like it was our own private beach. haha! on our day of arrival, as soon as we entered the gate, i was a bit disappointed with the lobby since i was expecting a huge, wide one. but it's okay. just a few meters ahead is a beautiful, wonderful experience. for one, the room is big with the amenities i did not expect. the resort although small (has ten rooms only) is great for us since we do not like a lot of noise. it is very private which we liked. the beach is all right but not that as i expected anda to be. just few meters ahead from the shore, the sand is already soft and has lots of seaweeds. but, one can opt to swim in their clean, nice infinity pool which is being attended to by a staff everyday. since i am not really a swimmer, the pool is deep for me. i can stay only within 2 meters. but what we liked most from the resort is the excellent service from the staff. the restaurant staff were very attentive to our needs like asking or suggesting what we would probably need. like one morning, in the restaurant while waiting for our food, i felt it's warm and i even said in a low voice "it's hot!". without asking, the staff switched on the fan! wow, thank you. and of course, the food! great taste! our kudos to the cook or chef. a little bit pricey tho but it's all worth it. although i wasn't able to experience the beach swimming as i expected, all in all, the resort made it all up. we had a wonderful, great stay. by the way, in one of our walks along the shore farther from the resort, we were surprised that the resort's dogs tagged along (especially, the partner of 'scoobidoo') which walked with us as if they were our personal guards! haha. what a lovely, wonderful, relaxing short vacation we had. we look back with a smile."

"The place is excellent. Located in front of the beach with a very relaxing resting place near the restaurant. The food is superb as well. The only negative thing thing I noticed are noisy people who missed to consider that there are guest who wants to relax. While we were resting, they were chatting out loud and seems like the other is the cook or staff. Aside from that, place is awesome. Considered it cheaper here than Panglao. Near the hotel are caves you sure wouldnt wanna missed. The Cabagnow Cave and Combento Cave. Quinale beach is 30min walk and is worth it. "

"Paradise Feeling We were traveling through the Philippines for 4 weeks and we also visited Bohol. We decided to go to Anda as it is known as a remote and relaxing part of Bohol. What we found was a paradise. Kilometers of white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and friendly people....that's Anda. J&R Residence is a Boutique Resort with only 5 rooms and the whole set-up is beautiful. The Restaurant Pavilion is overlooking the white beach and the Reef and the food is simply amazing. Ask for a cocktail and have it in the Pool, while watching the sunset... Special thanks to, the owners, for helping us to organize our tours and trips as well as for the outstanding hospitality... It was the best accommodation during our whole trip and we can definitely recommend this Resort to our friends and to people who are looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay in Anda. "
