Not worth the money”
We were disappointed by Hug Cafe. We decided to book and pay more than other places in the area based on pictures and reviews, but were disappointed to find cockroaches and mouse dung in the room. There was water damage, and it smelled of mildew, and we could tell the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Fortunately, the sheets and towels were clean, and structurally it's a very nice open place. We also really appreciated the air conditioning. Check in was difficult. We arrived about an hour later than we anticipated due to bus delays, and it was after dark with the whole place closed up. There was no way to contact anyone, so all of the neighbors came out to help, driving around to try to find someone, and making phone calls for >45 minutes until someone showed up. In spite of this difficulty, we were not offered any compensation, not even a free cappuccino or breakfast. Next time I would go for the budget place.

Lovely place”
My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights on the weekend. The place is very nice; they have only 3 rooms and they own a coffee shop which is one of my favorite. Hmee is the guy who takes care of this place did very good job. He took good care of us and made very nice coffee and tea. They also arrange tours to different islands. Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit but we are already planning to come back!! :)
