Became a part of the family”
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in September and during that time we felt as if we became a part of the family. The room was nice and clean and you have the privacy of a hotel but the hospitality of a family. They were both extremely kind and always made the effort such as offering us fruit during the day and made the effort to ask us about our day. Communication was easy enough with the occasional help of google translate. They offer a home cooked family which i highly recommend. They cooked us an assortment of local dishes with their homemade fish sauce, everything was delicious. We were also able to rent a bike off them for roaming around the area and they offered laundry services aswell. So you have everything you need here. On our last we were struggling to find transport to our next location and they arranged a bus for us to stop on the other side of the road and they helped us with our bags saw us off. It was such a lovely experience for us both and we would love to come back again.

Best place I have stayed in Vietnam!”
I had an amazing time while staying at the Hung Anh homestay in Tam Coc! The location is close to everything and town, and is perfect for exploring all the top destinations in the area. I was able to rent a motorbike here for a very reasonable rate and the owner gave me lots of helpful recommendations for how to spend my time. The dorm I stayed in was very comfortable with a fan and AC. By far the best thing about staying here are the hosts themselves. It truly felt like I was staying with family while I was here. The helpfulness and thoughtfulness went above and beyond at this homestay! I also highly recommend that you choose to have the family dinner while staying here, as the food was some of the best that I've had in Vietnam and it was great to spend extra time getting to know the incredible and kind owners.

Great and Personable Hosts”
Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The bathroom is a shared bathroom, but again it was clean and shower had hot water. The homestay also provided bicycles for rent, they weren’t in the greatest condition but we’re provided at a good rate. In addition, our hosts hosted us over Tet where almost all restaurants and stores were closed. They with us shared many delicious home cooked meals and drinks. It was a personal and touching experience. In addition, they aided us in booking travel to the next destination. I would recommend Hung Anh for any travelers that want a more personal experience.

Excellent homestay”
I stayed here a week and I cannot recommend this place enough. The owners are the loveliest people, very kind and welcoming. I happened to be there during Tet (Vietnamese new year) and they generously offered me to join them during the celebrations for food and drink. The room itself was perfectly acceptable and, as this is right at the centre of Tam Coc, it makes it an ideal location to explore the surrounding countryside and multiple activities offered in the area. Definitely the best value for your money you can find around!

Very nice place to stay - friendly owner always try to help you, say hello to your family, when you're on phone. It is a little bit hard, because owners almost don't speak English, but still we had no problems with that.

Very kind family”
English level was very low, but she made us feel welcomed!! The family was very kind and we enjoyed eating breakfast with them. She makes a delicious Veggie fried rice which was to die for. They even waited for us and let us in when we arrived super late in the night. Not a social place at all for solo Travellers but if you’re looking for a cultural experience with a local family then it’s perfect.

Warm and friendly stay in Tam Coc”
The lady that manages this homestay is so sweet! She doesn’t speak much english but with google translate, we could easily communicate. She prepared simple breakfast for us every morning, helped us with our bus to our next destination and provided us with a motorbike to visit the area. She also offers laundry service, which is slightly more expensive than other places (2$/kg instead of 1$). The bungalow was big, nice AC and bathroom. Would recommend this homestay for your stay in Tam Coc! It’s also right in the center, close to the bus station, restaurants, shops, etc!

Very Clean, friendly and welcoming family ”
We stayed 4 nights with Mr Hua and his wife and enjoyed every bit of it. They are very well situated in Tam coc and one of the cheapest places within the village. The breakfast is more than sufficient and included in the price. The place is very well kept and clean. They don't speak english but somehow, it adds up to the charm of the place and enhance the experience. They can also cook a amazing dinner for a small fee and it will be a real treat. They have all the facilities needed; motorbike and bicycles that you can rent for almost nothing free and good internet and a washing machine for your laundry. Everything is here and I dont have any negative points to add!

Wonderful home stay! ”
We had a great time here during our trip to Tam Coc. The couple running the place are so nice and they helped us out a lot, both with scooter rental, where to buy gas, booking our trip to the airport, driving us to the bus station etc. They don’t know much English but we used google translate to communicate which worked very well. I also highly recommend the family dinner. The food was great and it was very nice to have dinner with our hosts.

BEST HOMESTAY!!!”
Bien and Khoa are the most wonderful couple in all of Vietnam. We truly felt at home in this homestay as they welcomed us with open arms. Upon arrival we said we were going to get lunch but before we could leave Bien brought us fresh bean salad & bananas to our room and told us to rest. Bien is such an amazing cook we chose to pay for a family dinner three nights in a row, and breakfast one day! If you love tea, look forward to Khoa pouring you fresh green tea almost every time he sees you sitting at the table. I got sick one night and he made me tea while Bien gave me a shot of an unknown liquid, rubbed something on my stomach, and gave me some pills to make me feel better. Be prepared to use google translate and charades as they don't speak much English (which turned out to be quite fun)! Our room was clean and air con was strong. Absolutely no complaints. Everything you need is on site, from food to wifi to laundry to renting bikes, they have it all! 100% recommend.

Cute homestay in Tam Coc.”
Great location, room and whole place is so clean and nice. It has a really cute vibe, we conversed via Google translate, so if you're looking for an insightful homestay (into local life), not so easy because of language barrier. Otherwise it was a very comfortable and nice stay. Breakfast was an egg banh mi and some fruit. My girlfriend had a small cough and the owner brought many home remedies to try and fix her!

Lovely hosts”
The couple running this home stay are very lovely. Their dinner is fantastic and easily the best deal in town for a complete meal. The bicycles are a bit rough and need some repairs, but you can easily get others in town if needed. They can take you to to the train or arrange a bus if needed.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The owners, mumma and pappa Vietnam as they referred to themselves did everything to take care of us. Whatever we needed for our trip they were able to provide, at a decent price too. It really was like going back home being looked after by mum and dad. Perfect.

Mama Vietnam is soooo nice and friendly. She will do whatever to help you. 😄 beds were really confortable, after a few monthes of backpacking, this is really enjoyable! You must taste at least once the meal, it is a good tastes panorama. Breakfast is basic, but if you are gluten intolerant, the morning fried rice she can make for U is delicious! It is closed to the center and quiet. Hot water is good, toilets really clean. Scooter rent a bit more expensive than the street offers, but in better state. Really enjoyed this stay with locals. Thanks a lot!
