The price is reasonable, facility is not new but very convenient with all you need for a stay. Beach is very beautiful in the morning suitable for kids with small ponds of water left on the beaches when the tide is low.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ho Coc hotel; it was one of the loveliest and most price worthy hotels we he beach have ever stayed in. The room was spacious and very clean, with nice furniture. The beach was clean, and there was a lot of beautiful shells to be collected. The staff at the reception spoke very good English, and they were so helpful. The manager gave us his card and said we can call at anytime if we would have any questions. The staff at the restaurant didn't speak as much English, but were nonetheless very forthcoming. When there wasn't any vegetarian alternatives on their breakfast menu they let me choose something else and also did not charge for the extra coffees we ordered. Bare in mind though that if you don't like solitude, you might not enjoy it at the Ho Coc beach because when we stayed there there was only two other people living in the resort. But there is so much beautiful nature to explore, and you can rent very good bicycles to go around so we enjoyed every second of our stay. We also heard that it is very lively during the weekends, when the youth from HCMC comes there.

It is a pleasant resort”

Our stay at the resort was pleasant. The resort seems to be fairly new so it is still in a reasonable condition. We stayed Sunday, Monday & Tuesday to avoid the weekend and we were the only people at the resort which for us was great, as we were trying to get out of the city and away from all that. The beach is beautiful, the area is still quiet natural and untouched, although the sea line is ruined by that horrible looking building The MGM in Ho Tram. It turns a beautiful, tranquil and natural place into a bit of an eyesore. The staff here are all very friendly and the manager is very polite and courteous. There is really not much to the place. It is basically a place to get away from the city and have some peaceful, quiet time with the sun, sand and sea. (Although I can imagine on the weekend there would probably be an invasion of city folk and that tranquility, peace and cleanliness would be ruined by excessive alcohol consumption, non stop cigarette smoking, large groups yelling and screaming and people throwing their rubbish all over the place as generally happens) All in all I would recommend the resort as it provides everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Nice location, off the track, service moderate”

During our stay (beginning of February until one day before the tet festival, the Chinese new year) there were almost anyone in our resort-we enjoyed it. The hotel is surrounded by two other resorts (one very big one; we wonder what it is like if the resorts are fully booked). The hotel is in the middle of nowhere: no shops, the next little village 6 km away (we rented out bikes to get there, it was a pleasant ride, hardly any traffic on the country road) with a small market. The staff hardly spoke any English, even with a "point-it dictionary" they did not always understand us, but they tried their best to help us with whatever we needed. Breakfast included, but nothing special (bread and jam, stir fried egg or noodle soup) Buses are running frequently from Saigon to Bin Chau (2,5 - 4 h). From there you take a motorbike or taxi (for 12 km). However, taxis are not as frequent as in other bigger villages or towns.

I guess we went durning the slow season, so we had the whole resort to ourself. Even though there was hardly any guess they had staff to to take care of all your needs

While our stay was fine we did arrive home with very itchy bites from some insects. Don't know if these came from in the room or out on the beach... best to use some spray/caution during your stay!

There were some ants and insects in the bath room., so it was a bit inconvenient when having little kids.

Horrible! Worst 3 star hotel! Do not stay here!”

This hotel should not rank 3 star. It is worst than a budget hotel! First, it it written wifi provided in reception and room. However, the wifi can not be used! I am totally lost of communication with the world for that 2 days! Second, it is very hard to communication with the hotel staff. They do not understand English! Third, there is nothing to eat! Forth, the beach is extremely dirty! Fifth, the room is very smelly. The water pressure for shower is very low. Sometime it even just dripping! Sixth, the room seems not ready when I check in. When I get into the room, the housekeeping press the bell suddenly. Then I open the door. The housekeeping maid run in without asking for permission. It shock me! I am counting my money on the bed. Luckily we are not naked or get robbed! It is very rude service! Seventh, the only way to go out is order a taxi or walk. But it is very far to next destination! Eighth, the breakfast served was disgusting. Not hygiene.

Despite plans to stay several days,  we stayed here only one night and it turned out to be one night too many. Pros: - right on the beach - nice pool Cons: - place is 6 km from the bus stop and the advertised "shuttle service" is non-existent.  When we called,  we were given a Taxi number which said they did not cover this area.  When we called back, they simply repeated they did not offer this service.  We had to make our way on foot. - upon arrival on January 9 at 3:20 pm, after walking more than an hour, covered in sweat and less than happy,  we were greeted by two uncaring and unsmiling receptionists who provided no information whatsoever. - room is very small, basic, overpriced and there is nothing 3* about it. - no motorbike rental, and no recommendation or assistance on where to get one. - typical 1* breakfast resembling that of cheap hostels with choice of soup or one egg and bread,  oh and you better get up early  because they stop serving it at 8:30. They did not even have cups for the bad coffee and pointed to glasses when I asked. Despite our best efforts to eat elsewhere there is nothing nearby if you don't have wheels. Menu was very limited,  expensive and average at best. Beach is nice but big waves and rocks nearby so you can't really swim. This is clearly a place that caters to large Vietnamese crowds and groups and could not care less about about providing any kind of service to independent foreign travelers.

Bad place, dont go!”

The place is HORRIBLE, really. There is only one restaurant you can use and its bad. I ordered some chicken and it was raw. So i complained and ask some refund, but they didnt give it and they didnt really even understand what i was saying. I am so glad i only booked one night there!! (all tough they had took the money twice) There is nothing to see in there, even the beach is just nice nothing else.
