The beautiful Can Tho”

Was there from 8 January true noon the 13 of January; Nice hotel for a traveller, easy to go around within short walking distances. Used to go to eat for supper at a hotel within the touristic district, the main street with market, parks and the river, does take 8 minutes from hotel. Can Tho is a great place for photographers at every hours of the day. Hotel management very helpful. For my breakfast within 2 minutes walking distance to have a great café and some breads. The city have a lot of trees which help to get shade under the scorching sun. In Asia a one bed room is not very large compare to America, so do not be afraid to upgrade to a larger room; I did so for not even 5.00$ Cad a day and was worthed cse I had a balcony and more space.

Close to the river and market”

We missed toilet paper in our room, the blanket did not have linens. It was ok for one night stay. The hotel organised very nice 7h trip on Mekong river with English guide for us. Even though we liked the trip very much, the price was not one of the cheapest - it was 60$ for two people. Otherwise the hotel was clean, bed was comfy, spacious shower. Can Tho is very nice city full of nice and English speaking people and it is worth to stay there longer.

Just what you need for a good night's sleep!”

This hotel surprised us with its comfort and hospitality in a town mainly known as the take off point for the floating market at Can Rai. It offered us a bright room with pleasing decor and comfortable bed and a good breakfast.It is close to the Quay. We stayed just for a night as the purpose of our stay was to catch the early boat to the floating market. Unlike most other hotels in and around HCMC, this one allowed us to take drinking water from the dispenser in the lobby.

Helpful staff, good rooms”

Staff had great local knowledge, rooms were very clean and better than expected in regards to price. Slept well, reception will book floating market for you. We paid $10 for 3 hours each rather than $20 for -6-7. We went in a small traditional boat which the locals use and this made our experience much better. We saw tourists on the big long boats with 10-15+, these boats dwarf the market boats and makes it impossible to enjoy hot noodles while hooked on.Take small change and look out for long poles advertising what each boat sells, take a jumper if you go in the morning can be chilly.

It was a wonderful experience. I certainly enjoy it. The room is clean and the breakfast was good. Its worth the money I spent. The helpful staffs were very friendly and provides assistance as much as they can. But they only speak a little English.

My room had no window ( on the picture there was one...) and was quite smelly. I was just staying one night. I’m sure it is possible to found something cleaner and nicer in town for the same price.

Nice, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room, clean, close to everything, but very limited breakfast. Overall it is a good value.

did not get what we paid for! do not book here!”

where do i start? firstly, i booked a delux double room which stated on the booking form it had a view park. nothing could be further from the truth as this room had no window at all! in addition our voucher stated breakfast included. on our first morning we went into the dining room where there were un-cleared tables and no staff member present. we went to reception and said we wanted to have breakfast. we showed the staff member our booking voucher stating breakfast was included. we tried to order eggs from the menu and a very surly young man brought us bread & jam and no coffee. when we asked why he told us we would have to pay extra for anything else on the menu - only bread and jam was included!! he was very rude just said no eggs!! we decided to find ourselves another hotel in a better location opposite the river with a balcony and only paid a few dollars more. i will give the hotel however one positive comment - they did the laundry well and ironed trousers better than anywhere else in vietnam. breakfast included? i think not. room with view of park? no way. this was false marketing and i would not recommend this hotel

The staff are courteous but they dont speak good english. The hotel is old and the facilities are outdated. It looks like a hospital conveted into a hotel. It even rained inside the room 😊. Water from the aircon leaked making the bed soaked in water. Beware of bed bugs as well. Good thing is they have a motorbike for rent.

Comfortable within/without the H.L hotel.”

The Huynh Lac hotel is good, safe and quite place. Easy finding food, taxis and other tours to any places. Noticeably, near a hospital, bus stop and Ninh Kieu river for water or other city tours. No noise, no breakfast nor restaurant within the hotel. No bathtub, bar,, swimming pool, etc. Good for family with children, from good neighborhood, less traffic and best shopping Mart. The Huynh Lac hotel provides few scooters, cars to rents or simply walk for 3 blocks within 5 minutes to Can Tho Coopmart mart to have many children fun, games, shopping or even travel to other cities too !!!! Bus or boat tours connections, from away the small room, atmosphere and traditional appears of hotel room. Moreover, friendly staff, but not fancy nor Western expectation on the Eastern(Vietnamese)style, big size and various services idealizationally. Therefore, Huynh Lac hotel is a best hotel in small size, simple looks, and comfortable staying with many needs from the surrounding.

nous avons séjourné 2 nuitées. très propre, près du quai et de la restauration, malheureusement le personnel parle a peine kngnglais, comme bien des endroits au Vietnam.
