Amazing!”
Wonderful weekend. Kota Kinabalu is a beautiful city with a lot to explore. I have spent my 2 days trip at Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu. Nothing can be better. The hospitality was great from the moment I entered the hotel and greeted by the receptionist helping me with my check in. The agent was polite and carefully explained to me about my stay. She also patiently answered my questions regarding go to places in the city. Buffet lunch at the Tanjung Ria Kitchen was fulfilling experience with good spread and taste. Go for their naan bread, its super fluffy and delicious. Their Chinese section is something not to be miss too. Kam Heong style mussels, prawns dishes and others will keep you wanting for more. Local selections hot dishes and dessert will filled your tummy as you explore the city. By the way, you will enjoy the sea view from the restaurant while you enjoying your foods. Nagissa outlet is a traditional japanese approach restaurant . Being a Japanese cuisine lover made the temptation irresistible. I had Tempura Moriawase and Salmon Roll for the dinner. The big scrumptious prawn tempura is the best I ever had!. The ingredients are fresh, service was fantastic and definitely a place to go if you had a chance. FYI, the portion is worth the price. If you craving for something sweet, go to Mosaic, their gelato is delicious!. My favourite, Mint & Choc Chips!. Kudos to the pastry team!. Breakfast the next day was greeted by Jacklyn whom politely assist me for my table arrangements. Yahya is your SUPERSTAR!!. We briefly chatted about KK and he is PHENOMENAL. In fact he has been with the hotel for many years and he was so kind to assist my inquiries. OUTSTANDING guy with AMAZING attitude. I also had a chance to try their legendary Oxtail Asam Pedas. I was told by some friend that I should try the dish, the food stood up to its remarkable status. The meat is soft, thickness of the sauce and full of flavour made the dish so wonderful. Central and convenient”
A very pleasant stay. Rooms are big and cleaned daily. Staff are friendly and polite. Located very close to Jesselton Pier where all the island ferry depart (10 min walk). Hotel is all within walking distance (max 10 mins) of the important sights and shopping (Suria, Wisma Merdeka, Todak, KK plaza, Philippine market, Gaya Sunday Market, Fresh fish market/Pasar Besar, the “I love KK” sign. The hotel has a free use pool, gym, spa, steam room and sauna! Will definitely be my first choice to stay in the future.

Easy and Convenient”
The name "Hyatt" has been well known and lives up to its standard. Although the furniture in the room may be old looking (the desk), but the beds in room were super comfortable and has a nice view of the city. It has a swimming pool that my kid enjoyed a lot. My kid requested to stay here again if we ever visit KK again. :D However, the hotel price is increasing as we are easing into the endemic phase so hopefully the hotel will give offer price from time to time especially during school break for family to enjoy a great stay.

Room Clean & Spacious”
The price wise is reasonable for twin bed room with 2 person breakfast. Additional RM40 for another 2 person breakfast The room is clean, nice smell, spacious, and well organized. For the single bed can fit 2 person, but for our family consist of 4 adult person can fit the bed well as we booked a twin bed room. The twin bed we joined them to make a King bed, that's why can fit for 4 of us. The toilet and the shower room was cleaned, and i really like the way they design the bathroom. Although the bathroom is an open space, there are a sliding door for privacy. Anyway, is very worth it to stay in Hyatt. Overall, the breakfast is also delicious, there are many selection of food you can choose from western to asian. I will be back here next time.

Felt truly at home…”
I stayed at Hyatt Regency KK for 6 days with my wife and infant and I must admit that this is one of the best hotel I’ve stayed in Malaysia. Right from checking in the staffers on ground from the concierge to front desk made us feel very welcomed. At first when I saw the plaque outside the hotel that state it was opened in 1977, I was like oh god this is a very old hotel especially when I saw their lifts… Hahaha… But when we entered our room and saw the view which is a sea facing room, me and my wife was like… wow!…. Bed was comfy, the toilet was very cleaned.. 6 days and at every time even if its 3am there’s someone opening the hotel glass doors to greet us when we return.. Simply put the service rendered is beyond extraordinary.. To Emily Amandus the Hotel DM… Thank you for the wonderful bag of cookies… It’s sad though cause I tried to purchase the cookies from the hotel store but they sold out on that type of cookie.. hahaha To all the staffers at Hyatt regency… I salute you for a job well done and I look forward to your warmth hospitality again one day.. Kudos!

Worth taking room with club access”
Loved my stay at Hyatt. Room was very clean. I had access to the club lounge and it was worth it. Mall, Jetty, Market & restaurants were only a five mins drive from the hotel.

A lovely stay”
We were three childhood friends that just needed a girls night out to catch up on life. Twin room and comfy extra bed was included at a reasonable rate. Accommodating and very polite staff. Plus a delicious buffet breakfast with lots of local and western choices. Overnight parking is only 10 ringgit for hotel guests. Will definitely stay again!

Privacy, spacious, clean!”
I requested for a higher level to ensure I get a quite room as I am on a business trip and required to prepare some paperwork at night. It's great to know that not only it's quite and calm, but also come with a package of very clean room, facing the sea and it's really spacious. How I wish to have all my kids to be with me here. I know they would love this hotel too.

Will I Return. Yesss”
The room is great. Very comfortable. Located in the town center. A lot of restaurants nearby. Within walking distance. Only downside. Parking had to pay RM 10.00 one time. Then FOC multiple entries after that. For me, No need to take breakfast cos a lot of local food to try. Wan Wan Restaurant etc etc.

Location”
Great location for the seafood market, 24hrs curry shops, and it is only a ten-minute walk to the ferry boats to the islands....food is nice and plenty of it, room service menu is small but the food is tasty. The rooms are large and everything works...showers are perfect. the only downside which you will notice on arrival is, the hotel needs a renovation, 40 years and I don't think much money has been put into the upkeep

Great location, Great service”
The hotel is centrally located in KK town and is close to so many restaurants that you will be spoilt for choice. The seafood restaurants are just a 5-minute walk away while many brunch places and bars are only 10 minutes away. The hotel staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Even when I needed some housekeeping in the wee hours, there were very prompt with their service. The hotel is a tad old and it shows as my safe wasn't working (the technicians came twice to fix it but it still couldn't work and I didn't bother troubling them after that), and the nozzle to hold my bath water in the tub was not functioning as well but these are minor flaws that are easily forgivable. I would definitely come back to stay here.

Strategic location”
Best 4 stars hotel in KK town. Near to many places like the Filipino market, Gaya Street sunday Market, Jesselton Jetty and malls. Just that parking is limited and in house guests still need to pay for the parking. Other option was u still can find parking at the road side when is off peak working hours. Room was spacious, clean and matress was comfortable. Good stay and highly recommended. The rate is not too expensive for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel room was amazing, one of the most impressive hotel rooms we've ever stayed at. The view was to die for and the staff were extremely friendly. They even have us a slice of cake (on the house) for my girlfriends birthday.

It was the very best experience stayed here in Sept 2022. Room is very comfortable and nice facing the sea. Breakfast is variety and tasty. everything is good. Just one small issues with the staff at the executive lounge counter, perhaps she can be more friendly and greets guest with smile. Besides that, it was my best stay. Looking forward to coming again to KK and book the same Hotel.

The location is excellent, making it a convenient base to explore KK. Walking distance to Syria Sabah, Jesselton Point, Handicraft Market and just in front of the seafood market, where we enjoyed a yummy seafood dinner.
