it was comfortable, though one cannot expect 3-5* hotel-like. it is family run and converted housing property for the hotel. generally very satisfied, provided the location whereby it is just a short distance away from Beeston train station. there is a convenient shop same row with it. Walking distant to Beeston bus station and Beeston town centre. walk further would bring to you the University of Nottingham, where my intention was laid for.

Easy access to Nottingham centre”
Booked for a concert in Nottingham. Easy access to the city centre by bus, tram or train within a 15 minute walk. Room was clean and comfortable, stayed in single room with shared bathroom. Full cooked breakfast included was a bonus. Only minor negative for my room was the need to be mindful of the stairs down and up again between the room and the bathroom which could have been tricky during the night.

Outstanding Hotel”
Extremely welcoming, all the staff seemed very happy in their jobs, a family run business and the staff also really seemed to care that it was a successful business. reception had the best customer service I have ever seen, a real credit to the place. They also upgraded me free of charge to an en-suit because they were quiet and beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Comfortable and basic”
I can't fault the staff and the fact that it included a full English breakfast was a real bonus and set us up for the day. The hotel is spread over 2, maybe three buildings. It seemed a converted house and reminded me a bit of student accommodation. Not that that is a bad thing, it was comfortable enough for us. The only negative was actually nothing to do with the hotel, people being noisy coming in late or leaving early. Not everyone is awake at 7am! ... Or wants to be! Not the fault of the hotel though, I guess the doors could be better insulted for noise. All in all it was pleasant. We did discover the room would have been cheaper if we booked direct. Worth noting if this is allowed to stay on my review.

Friendly, family-run hotel/guest house”
Much better than I was expecting considering the very good price for two single rooms we booked. We were expecting a shared bathroom, but in fact had en-suite in both rooms. Rooms were fairly small, but perfectly adequate for our needs, with TV, Wi-Fi, Tea/coffee making facilities, spare coat hangers and even electrically adjustable beds. Toilet/shower rooms were a bit dated (avocado suite) but otherwise fine. Communal areas had nice old-world charm with some good pieces of furniture and a LOT of interesting art on the walls of the rooms and staircase (from family members). Small bar area, unmanned, but I'm sure they would open it if requested. Large breakfast room with picture windows over garden, friendly attentive staff and a good cooked veggie breakfast with no fuss. Sufficient parking to side and rear.

Stayed here last night and it was great. We were out most of the night but it was easy to get into Nottingham, the staff were lovely and friendly, room was a great size with a massive bed and clean, will definately be staying again next time we come to Nottingham!
