Tranquil location with quaint cafes and eateries nearby”
This is the second time I stayed in this hotel after 10 years. It’s still a nice hotel and staffs were very professional (As you would expect from IHG). It was a real pleasure chatting with the chef (Christophe) during breakfast who offered us a specially made French toast which was absolutely delicious. We used the car arranged by the hotel to Sapa. It was a bit of a pain emailing the concierge back and forth prior to the trip. But all that was didn’t matter after we checked into the hotel. In person, the concierge’s service was excellent especially the Head Concierge. The driver was really good. He drove really smoothly and was really attentive despite not understanding English.

Nice hotel, relaxing location”
My family had a great time at Inter Continental. Surprisingly, I found the local food at the hotel was great. We encountered bad traffic to travel back from Hoan Kiem Lake due to construction near the hotel. Great location to relax. if you are looking for more activities at night and local street foods, stay at old quarter in Hoan Kiem district. We stay 3 nights at Inter Continental and 1 night at Old Quarter and enjoyed both. A suggestion to improve food consistency . I ordered the same vegetable and chicken soup for lunch because it was nice on the first day but taste slightly difference on the second day!

A wonderful Staycation in Hanoi”
I surprised my husband with a night away for our anniversary. The staff were very helpful in providing a beautiful room and even a cake and card wishing us well. The view was astounding and facilities pristine. Only one suggestion, please add a bidet or shataff to the restroom!

It’s nice to be just out of the old quarter as it becomes super relaxing having the water around you. There’s lots of space here which is fantastic. Buffet is super big and they do whatever coffee you want complimentary!! The gym is big and also does Zumba and yoga classes.

Tucked away in Westlake: pros; quiet(er) and a chance to get away. Cons; away from tourist spots and restaurants. If you stay here, you must get a room with a view, otherwise.. it kind of defeats the purpose.

The room is nice like what you expect from 5 stars. I got the overwater lake view which is more expensive than city view. my view was small part of lake with golf range pings of swings. Should have gotten the city view which was cheaper with bigger lake view. Should have asked reception to change room, but this was first time. experience. Restaurant in is very good quality and worth the price.
