Real nature”
Big area with trees and green grass. We got the yellow house by the river that seriously need renovation, not only it worn down and looks old but it's dangerous for small kids as stairs railing is no longer strongly attached.

Never go back”
Only good for dogs. Poor facilities, its not well maintenance. Actually there is no wifi. Rugs were not clean at all. It been used by pervious guesses but no washing/changing. I was asked to leave my room on second day due to double booking. Mine via agoda and the other via hotel reservation. I arrive and stay 1 night. New guess arrived on my second day but they decided to receive refund and left. Lucky them. If i have no dogs, I would not stay on my second day.

Oasis of peace”
Island Resorts is situated 15 km from the city of Kanchanaburi on the intersection of rivers Kwae Yai and Taphoen, which makes it a great location. It consists of many wooden cottages - some have river view, some are in a little hill around a pond. Since we were 3 out of 5 visitors in those two days it was an oasis of peace. But if all cottages are occupied it can be a busy place. Interior of our cottage was well designed - small bathroom with hot water, fridge, TV, free WiFi, foldable sofa/bed and wooden stairs to a sleeping area above bathroom. There is no restaurant but the owners have menu and cook food themselves. Pretty spicy Thai. We were eating outdoors in a gazebo near the river. Also breakfast was served there. The only drawback is that without own transport you are cut out of everywhere - good to meditate and practice Tai Chi all day long.

Excellent quite stay”
We enjoyed our 1 night stay, the hotel is located outside kanchanaburi which was why we chose it. Its about 15min drive, we had our own car so it was fine. Beautiful gardens surround the hotel, with cute little houses are your hotel room. Rooms are basic but very clean. Staff although dont speak much english, but this was no an issue for us. The breakfast was basic, 2 eggs with toast, and this was perfect for us. The hotel is right on the river and we enjoyed an afternoon of drinks by the river watching the local children swim. Would stay here again.

Relax environment”
Location was great for us as a family, although needs to be noted that we drove there, so if you do not have your own transport, it is 15 Kim's from Kanchanaburi city. The rooms were like cabins, which we liked very much. Breakfast was Thai, but the owner made sure we were accommodated as foreigners and was friendly with us and our kids. All in all a nice get away from the business of the city. A nice weekend retreat...

Quaint & Friendly”
Quite isolated but easy to find first time with google maps. Extensive grounds but simple and a dated, basic bungalows. But the friendliness of the staff and the proximity and size of the resort (quite small) made the stay like a family group. Breakfast was out in a Pavilion next the river. It was a good experience. The kids loved playing with the kittens.

Only good memories. Hotel located 12 kilometers from the bus station outside the city. Hotel manager Ben, met us at the station and drove to the hotel. She had perfect english. All 3 days of our stay, she took care of us as a family. Every evening she gave us electro-grill and we did a barbecue. The hotel grounds are very beautiful with views of the river.

Clean and Quiet Place”
There are two separate zone for their villas and the one we were stay was great and clean with the value of money we paid. The resort is huge and you can see river from some of the villa. In general this resort and nice and suitable for family trip with little kid.

Many fresh air under trees beside the rivers / separated from main roads but not far form hospital and market. An officer was good PR ,she can assist you everything.

Beautiful and quiet ”
It's distance from the city, fresh air, beautiful garden by the river, very calm and relaxing place .. Good staff. But they should have breakfast service because it far from everything , no kitchen for customers. The water heater was broken.

Dog days out”
Tranquil beautiful location on the river. Small chalet, good hot shower, working air con and fridge. Good WiFi connection. Lots of grass, trees and open spaces to let the dog off his lead. Will be going back soon.

Very nice sunrise”
Normal cottage was large but old.. still all worked fine and quiet stay. Breakfast was very good, even though during slow season served up nice and yummy. Garden area is very large and nicely maintained. Nice spot at river fork to sit, relax ,sunrise, eat. With a motorbike it was fine place to stay.. about 5 minutes to town variety shops and 7\11. I think two or three nights would be nice for a fish and relax getaway.

Great location”
It's the best place to stay away from city life. It has a big ground covered with big trees in some part that make it cozy, adding with 2 rivers flowing at 2 sides of the compound. Waiting for a good manager to shape up this resort to be known and attract more people to spend time there. So spacious enough to handle all kind of social event to arrange there.

Excellent location for a break from the city ”
Love this place. Great space. Every bungalow are decently spaced so each customer have their own space. Parking lots aplenty. There are tamarind trees everywhere and you can just stroll along the premises and pick some up to eat if you like to. Breakfast is served by the lake. It was just simple two toasts with two sunny side up and industrial Thai Made sausages but because the eggs were too oily and we don't eat the sausages, we skipped breakfast the second day. Location will be hard to access if you don't drive a car though.
