I had high expectations coming into Island World Panglao because of the high ratings and positive reviews it had on Agoda and fortunately, they delivered services and accomodations exactly as they advertised. The unique feature of the hotel of having separate villas as units was definitely one of my favorite things about it, and the quaintness of the hotel compared to the bigger franchised hotels around Alona gave way for quieter nights during our stay there. Usually, with simpler accomodations such as this, I have lesser expectations with the service expertise of the staff but with Island World Panglao, they must be its best asset so far. They were sincere in their friendliness, and earnest in helping us around, even with the simplest tasks. And it's that the owner is very hands-on with running the hotel, making sure to greet everyone and ask how the stay has been so far. My favorite thing about the stay is how when they heard my little nephew craving for some fried chicken, they offered to cook it for us even when it was not on their menu. Really shows how they want to have their guests the most enjoyable experience. Thank you, Vic, Grace, and Josh! Our Bohol trip was amazing enough already, but Island World Panglao was the cherry on top of it. I can't wait to recommend it to all my friends travelling to Bohol! :-) P.S. Our one mistake in our Bohol trip was not giving their menu a try the first chance we got. Better than most restos we've tried around Alona Beach, for sure.

ONE OF THE BEST RESORTS IN PANGLAO!!!”
We stayed here for 5D4N. We’re a group of 10 and we occupied 4 rooms. All of which are all clean, comfortable, homey, and cozy. The way the villas are set up is really good because it surrounds the first pool. You can lounge beside your room facing the pool on a lazy afternoon and enjoy a cup of coffee. We had fun swimming on their pool with ambient water temperature. Their staff are one of the best in customer service and satisfaction! They know us by name and would always greet us with a smile on their face. Even our shuttle drivers are really gracious and helpful. They are always willing to help. We truly appreciate the free shuttle to Alona beach, which extended up until 10PM. So convenient even if you can actually walk for about 10-15 minutes to Alona Beach. Lastly, the resort owner is really kind and friendly. The way his team works truly reflects his leadership. Thank you so much, Island World! We can’t wait to go back. Just an awesome stay overall!! ❤️

All of the staffs from Frontdesk, gardener, driver, cook and waiters and waitresses were all nice!!! Seriously all warm and nice. Even the owner! They have 2 pools front and back! And its sooo clean!!! Clear water and right chlorine! The place is also wonderful and their very cheap meals! You can also use their kitchen if you would like to cook your own food or grill with no additional cost! If if you asked them to cook for you no cost!!!! You just have to buy your own ingredients for it. 5mins away from the airport and also 10mins away from south palms! Jollibee and mcdo are also near if you wish to eat through fast food. Grocery just 5mins walking or less! Barbeque and all are also near! We love it!!!

I definitely recommend this place. Staff are approachable and accommodating. Rooms are spotless and neat with blower, tv, aircon, electric kettle, table and chair, towels, electric fan, shampoo, body wash, and tissue. Our room style has loft and near the pool. And you can chill and dine outside because theres provided patio. There’s an affordable breakfast and food. There’s in-house restaurant that serves different cuisine which is savory and in big serving. They also offer room service, free airport transfer from the hotel and free service going to Alona beach. Thanks Island World and staff for good service and experience.

Its People Is Its Greatest Asset”
I've always read reviews that Island World has the best people. And during our stay I learned how true it was. The staff and owner were exceptionally accommodating, breakfast was great, and room and pool were clean. It's near restaurants and they offer transportation from hotel to Alona Beach or nearby establishments, the frontdesk can even call a tricycle for you if you need it. Overall, I definitely recommend Island World!

I'm very satisfied with our stay @ Island World - big and clean pool. Perfect for laps - free shuttle to and from Alona - attentive staff. Front desk even helped when I lost my bag during dinner @ Bohol Bee Farm - free drinking water - free shampoo and body wash. Good smell! - they allow take outs from other restaurants - no noisy or annoying neighbors. Most likely because each room has good distance from each other - free airport drop off - near Alona and other famous restaurants in Panglao

They will drop you also to the different places you wish to visit and also to the Alona Beach near to their resort for free of charge. We had a great stay here with my family! Room and Bathroom is spacious on Two Bedroom-Villa. Super Satisfied ❤️ The pool is clean and just in front of our room. Free Breakfast is great , it was always served in our room. Their staffs is also great and approachable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💯💯💯 GOOD LOCATION and FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO ALONA BEACH.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The bungalow was very spacious for its price. The place is well maintained and cleaned properly. The free shuttle to Alona Beach and to the highway is also a bonus! The owner and the staffs were very nice and accomodating. Looking forward to our next stay!

Everyone was very accommodating and hospitable! The place was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, really great stay here and we'd definitely be back. Free shuttle going to Alona/other beaches. The owner is really hands-on and interacts with the guests. We loved the outdoor massage place for only 250php/hr, great experience as compared to massage places here in Manila. Hoping they'd also advertise more about their outside bathroom with a huge bathtub outside, it's really our favorite part of the place. It also comes with a water heater but dont' overuse it since it causes a ground on the faucets. Took awhile to fill in the tub but overall, it was a very relaxing experience. Bali feels! <3

The resort is conveniently located near the airport. Niels (the owner) is a nice guy who’s hands on with the property/service - the AC unit in our bungalow broke down in the middle of the night (we didn’t really mind) but he immediately had it replaced with a brand new unit and offered us free massage as it was being installed. Small gesture but it left a good impression. Overall the staff/management was so nice and polite. Service was superb - they have a free shuttle service around Alona, which made our entire stay so convenient and hassle-free. They also offer day tours and can arrange side trips for you. Pool is clean and well-maintained. If I had one small “non-issue” that would be the natural light peeking from the ceiling serving as my alarm clock in the morning 🙈 Overall, 10/10 would recommend - I’d definitely go back!

We super love our stay in Island World. All the staffs are very helpful and nice, especially Kuya Ace and Grace :) The resort is super clean and the pool is warm that's why even at night my little one can swim. We love everything about the resort!!! Highly recommended!!! Ps. they are so helpful in everything. Stay here and you will never regret it!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Stayed two nights here and all I can say is, what a great resort like hotel. Its not your typical hotel but what I loved about them is you'll be staying at a villa and if you're a solo traveller, you'll have the whole villa for you! Great staff and great value for your money. Although the place is a 5min ride to the Alona Beach, they offer free shuttle service which I think is wise and great! I will definitely come back here!

The resort and rooms are instagrammable and clean at the same time. The staffs are all nice and helpful. We love their shuttle that we can use from morning til 6am whenever we want to go to Alona. Food are also ok. We'd love to be back here again in the future.

Quiet location, but close to everything. ”
Nice quiet location, great staff, great accommodation, all round great service, free transport to and from the beach area at Alona, or if you prefer to walk, it's approximately 15 minutes walk. Good size accommodation units, TV, aircon, kettle, on site restaurant, fantastic pool "what's not to like?" we will definitely check availability on our next trip to Alona. 🏝️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
