Very nice Thai style hotel with nice staffs”

The resort is very nice Thai style building build from new wood with a large area. You will feel like you go back to the past of Thailand when you stay here. Their staffs are very nice and willing to help you. But, the room's wall is not keep the sound, so you can here the sound from nearby room if they made lound noise. The resort is a little bit far from Amphawa market and the road to the resort is quite dark at night.

Great stay”

We arranged a boot trip from the hotel. 1500 baht for a private boat. The trip took about 6 hours including shore leave for eating. Great value

Waken up at 5 a.m. by monk preaching nearby!!”

We appreciated the resort for its cleanliness, Thai style pavilions, pool, and calm atmosphere during daytime. But at 5 a.m. we were waken up by a monk preaching at the nearby temple. He was preaching out loud with amplifiers for whole area to wake up and listen to him until 7 a.m.!!! The breakfast buffet was cold and needed improvement. The dinner was so so. We was the only clients and the personals just wanted to finish the service and go home. My daughter forgot her favorite soft toy in the pavilion and they never find it.

Only for Self-driving hotel guests”

Stayed on Friday and Saturday night. No buffet on Saturday morning as only 6 guests from 2 rooms, including ourselves. Hotelmprovide America breskfast and Thai porridge for Asian guests. Milk, juice, hot beverages and toasts ard free flow. However there was buffet breakfast on Sunday as there were over 30 guests who stayed one night on Sat. There were fried rice, fried noodles, friend vegetables wuth pork, fried eggs, chicken sausages and fruits. Hotel not suitable for foreign guests if there are no local Thai friends to drive there. Do attempt to arrive after 6pm or else one may get lost in the dark roads after 7pm as the hotel is located in a coconut plantation. However, hotel is good for someone who just wish to do nothing and swim. The river is at the rear of the hotel. I was lucky to see for the first time a pair of Bird of Paradise bird flying above the swimming pool in the evening. Their nest is probably near the hotel.

The room was fine but a bit basic for the price of 5000 a night. The swimming pool was lovely and the location really great to see the floating market and the fireflies.
