Good title”
We were having a bad time trying to find transport to get to Hoi An from Hue and again to Nha Trang from Hoi An and were getting very frustrated. The young Sales Executive Moon took it off our hands and arranged a private driver to get us to Hoi An and a sleeping bus to get us to Nha Trang. She also arranged a lovely hotel for us in Nha Trang and plane tickets back to Ho Chi Minh City. We were very impressed with the service. Lovely comfortable pillows on bed.

Hue stay”
The Ngoc Huong Hotel is in a great location, close to the waterfront and a number of nice eateries. It is also close to some bars, but we didn't go to any of these places. The rooms were very nice, and we liked the buffet breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Be careful when booking day tours of Hue here, it may be better to shop around, as they were quite expensive. We were charged $14 USD for a day trip for Hue. On the tour, we spoke to others who paid between $6 - $8 for the exact same tour. When I raised it with the staff, management graciously allowed a partial refund of $4.

Comfortable hotel with good sevice”
This is my second time staying at the hotel for my two times traveling to Hue city. This would infer that it is good hotel, so we would like to come back again, it is clearly. My words of evaluation are: - Good location, center of Hue city , so it is convenient to go to visit other places - Small room but comfortable, clean and tidy - Room price is OK with its quality and services - Breakfast was not really good, but ok, I propose to improve

Historic building with great staff.”
We really enjoyed our stay here the place had some beautiful old wood doors and windows with 10' ceilings. The breakfast was great especially the Bun Bo Hue soup. The staff were very helpful and pleased to tell us about their city. This hotel does need a few updates like new carpet but it looks like they are installing a hard wood laminate. Great value and excellent location.

A very tourist central location”
This hotel is a little expensive for its level of staff service and room conditions. Although the room is clean and tidy it's nothing special; the door and lock needs to be improved. At the moment the door basically doesn't even close proper and the lock does not provide any sense of security to your room. Other than that the hotel is located in a very central and tourist attraction location of the city. The breakfast level is nice and bright with great view of the Huong River. There is also some great restaurants and bars very close by that opens very late into the early morning which there are very few in Hue.

Ngoc Huong Hotel”
Ngoc Huong was great. It's at the center of everything we mainly choosed it because of location. The staff is nice and very professional. Don't rent your bike or motorbike there, it's a bit pricey we got ours on the same street from a nice lady for 100,000dong a day and didn't return it till 10. the breakfast was superb! It was 5 star breakfast. The rooms were quite unlike other hotels we could hear through the walls. Ngoc Huong is highly reccommended!

Friendly hotel”
Located well in the city of Hue, the girls on the desk try hard for you with every request. Rooms were pretty good as well, and I think you get good value for what you pay for.

Nice location”
hotel was fine for the price we paid. Clean rooms, great location and friendly staff. Breaky wasn't great, but outside you could pick something up for cheap price. Overall this hotel was great value compared to what was around. Need to go outside the hotel to organise the tours of dmz

Standard Hotel but in good location”
Short stay but great location, just behind the "lonely planet" area for amateurs! Nice to be close to the bridge that leads to the other side of hue, bit less touristy.

Safe bet in Hue”
This is a good value hotel. The rooms are very nice and the price tag isn't too high. It isn't near anything other than a few restaurants and a bar (Brown Eyes). The food at the hotel is pretty bad too. However, the staff is very accommodating, wireless is free in the rooms and it was a good stay. The staff is very friendly and helped us rent mopeds and arrange a car to Hoi An.

Illusions of grandeur!”
This hotel makes me laugh. You look at the photos on the net and think that it's a pretty recent hotel. Then you arrive and you see that the building looks quite old and dirty. The lobby has a modern look, but you slowly realise that that's it! The rest of the hotel ( stairs, restaurant, walls), everything else is old, ugly and dirty! The rooms are ok and clean though, but ugly and old fashionned. It's definately not a good value for what you get! You will be waken up at 5 am by vietnamese tourists. The breakfast is not at all adapted for western travellers. Some of the staff has a good english, while some don't even speak a word. The only good thing about this is the location and the comfort of the beds.

Ngoc Huong Hotel Hue”
The rooms and hotel were very clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and arranged tours for us - although the tours were slightly on the expensive side. Pickup from the hotel for the tours went very smoothly. The free internet was a big bonus to be able to contact family with no stress or extra money to pay out. We would have liked a nice bar area to sit and have a relaxing drink.

Reasonable hotel in good location”
We did not get off to a very good start as the first room we were given looked out onto a concrete wall with absolutely no natural light. When we asked to change we were originally asked to pay a supplement but then the manager did allocate us a room which had a decent view. Unfortunately the fridge did not work and there was no internet access from this room - although the receptionist claimed that the hotel did not at the time have internet we were moved to the next door room where internet was fine, and it had a view. Breakfast was reasonable, very Asian, though staff were happy to cater to western tastes. The hotel although central was quiet and reasonably comfortable, though a little drab in its decor.

Fine hotel”
This hotel is fine just to stay 1 or 2 nights. To me it was nothing special. Rooms were ok, but on their site it was insinuated that they would have a balcony. We did not have one. Another disappointment was the swimming pool (although the weather was not good enough to use it). The picture on their site is photoshopped!? The actual pool is very small and not very clean. I find it typical for Vietnam discovering tourism. I've seen the same thing years ago in Spain and some time ago in Turkey. It will take some time before people understand that they can't lie to customers because they won't come back! Breakfast was not very good... Friendly staff! If you don't care about breakfast and forget about the pool, this is a fine hotel to stay one or 2 nights!

Unimpressive for the cost”
Doesn't meet expectations given the price. The breakfast (not a buffet) is ok but just ask for what you want even if it is not in your set. The wifi often doesn't work. There is a huge tub without enough hot water to fill it even a quarter of the way and dismal water pressure. Even 5 floors up, you'll be awoken by horns through the thin windows and the pictures are nicer than the room actually is. Service is nice though. Cheapest to book on agoda.

A short overnight trip”
Only gave ONE key for two guests. My other guest was sleeping so I asked the front desk to open the door for me. It took them over 15 minutes to get me into the room. The staff does not seem to understand how to take care of the guests when I asked them questions about the hotel or surrounding area.

Good value”
Good value for money. No shower was disappointing and spa bath. None of the bedroom lamps worked - hotel is dated but the cheap price reflects this. Staff were helpful.

Great deal for the price”
I've been coming here for last 5 visits. Place is clean, beds are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a pool on the 9th floor that is usually very quiet and the breakfast buffet, on the 8th, is to die for with their huge selection.

I've had far better for three stars”
From the 1.5 hours it took to check in, then the lack of any kind of sound proofing so everything happening in the corridors could be heard like they were in your room (constant noise from 5AM to 1AM), the leaking spa bath (which also did not work) that flooded the bathroom or the lack of furniture. This place was just purely disappointing. The only thing this hotel ha going for it is their customer service but that can only go so far.
