The location is about 1 to 2 km from old city - so, it's walking distance for most. The pool is cool and refreshing. It's small but adequate for a dip. The staff is friendly and helped with tour reservations. Room is spacious and clean.

Pool is nice, but next to Parking lot. Staff can hardly speak English, besides a nice gentleman. Beds are comfortable.

It’s a little off from city centre but we didn’t mind. The wifi didn’t work even though they said it would work couple of times. There is parking and pool. The TV is older so no Netflix, A/C is a bit old and loud. Comfortable bed

Bug infestation in the room”
1. Not seen in the pictures is the see-through sliding glass door so your partner gets to watch you do your business! 2. Our room had an ant-infestation...like thousands of ants pouring into the room, crawling on the walls and floor. There were several holes in the wall that allowed these crawling and flying critters into our room on the 4th floor. The team responded with a poisonous spray which we had to air out instead of going to bed as planned. They seem to be well-versed in this issue but don't take steps to remedy the holes. 3. Like many places we've stayed, they do not do more than surface level cleaning. Overall, the staff were pleasant enough but we were disturbed by having to sleep with so many bugs in the room! We wouldn't recommend this place until they clean up their act (and our room).

Spiders nest”
We walked in the hotel, checked in, walked to our room, saw a room that looked like a crack den, with dirty towels and a spiders nest. We requested a room change, we were moved to a room with the exact same issues. Save your money and time and stay in downtown Chiang Mai.

As several times before, quite a pleasant stay at the Jira. This time not too many annoying (mainland) Chinese travellers - good luck :-) Just 2 weak points: walls are pretty thin, can hear any kind of noise in the floor or next rooms. WiFi: ... work / doesn't work ... work / doesn't work ... shouldn't be such a problem any more nowadays !!

Location is good,nice room”
I spent two nights at suite of JIRA. The size of the room is great and satisfactory. I moved the sofa bit far from air conditioner and found that the floor was full of dust. However, the housekeeper helped clean it up. The breakfast is not various but the taste is okay. One thing i don't like is too much ants around the corner, balcony and microwave. The staff was nice however they couldn't bring me the extra bed as my little sister decided to spend overnight with me on the second night. The front desk staff told me that I have to ask for an extra bed before 4pm, it was quite ridiculous as there were four staff at the counter that time (around 9pm) whilst I asked since my first arrive whether i can get the extra bed at night if my sister arrived hotel late at night and the one who refused me on the second night said YES, I CAN AT ANYTIME. Another thing that upsets me is the water. It's too slow like a dog piss.

Great hotel and Staff”
Very nice hotel for the price. Cheap laundry service. Easy late check in upon booking. Very big room for the one I had booked. Nice little patio, not much of a view. Location was the my only gripe which is about a 10-20 min walk to old city depending on pace. There are alot of dogs in the neighborhood which bark a lot in the morning and when walking around you'll see but have all been harmless.
