This resort is perfect for couples and just to relax in phuket. I was traveling with my friends (Group of 3) which we stayed in the villa together. Sad to say, the resort is not really for those travelers whose aim is to roam around easily as the location is quite isolated. This resort makes me feel very safe as there is guards around the resort and they are very friendly. This resort provide great services, and gives good quality amenities. overall, the resort have a very good scenery and very good quality environment. However, if you are thinking of traveling to other beaches, you may need to think twice. the closes beach is Kamala beach, which takes around 15 mins of car ride if the traffic is good. If you are thinking of travelling to Patong beach, the travelling time would take you around 20 - 30 mins if the traffic is good. This resort is famous in phuket and a little pricey. However, the service and scenery is what you will receive in exchange of the pricey tag. the price of the food in the restaurant is quite cheap as compared to other five star hotel/ resort. The Spa is easily fully booked. So, if you wish to try the spa in the resort, book the slot early. there is snorkeling activity and other sea activities which is totally free. they even provide scuba diving (but when i visit, there is no instructor as they are hiring). I would strongly recommend this resort to travelers whose aim is for romantic and relaxation. This resort would be a perfect destination for honeymoon or any anniversary trip. It would definitely hype up the romantic atmosphere. Conclusion is, if you are looking for a romantic/ relaxing stay in phuket, this is a perfect stay for you!

hotel has been taken over by swissotel on 1 april - so after our original booking. we were upgraded from a 2 bed appartment to a 3 bed appartment which was enormous. also had a huge wrap around balcony as it was on the top (3rd) floor of the hotel. kitchen is basically a fridge sink and microwave so no cooker. but it's so cheap to eat oiut we didn't or wasnt going to use that anyway. pool is great and the hotel was busy for easter weekend but quieter afterwards. lots of families and extended families on holiday so wouldnt recommend for young couple. beach is literally a 5 min walk away (if that). best part of kamala beach too as it's away from the main drag. beach was beautiful and wonderful for the children. there was a tsunami alert whilst we were there and we had to evacuate - but this was just a walk up the mountain/hill behind the hotel. we were very lucky and nothing happened. however just be mindful that this could happen and think what you'd need in a grab bag - mosquito repellant - wet and dry flannels - towels to sit on - torch and your valuables and passports (not suitcase just small bag. breakfasts were wonderful withy best poached eggs made to order i've ever tasted. children ate too many of the wonderful pastries though! happy hour (2 for 1) is between 4 and 7 and includes all drinks - even childrens milkshakes so worth having one (or 2) before leaving the pool to get ready for a night out. kamala - as most of phuket is serviced by what they call the taxi mafia - just over priced taxis. grab a taxi from the airport & it's baht. try to get their number to use again if possible. if not it's baht return journey from taxis near hotel.

When we booked cape sienna, we were very excited to see it. We landed in phuket international airport and then had to take a taxi from the airport which costed us 600 bahts. On reaching the hotel, we were taken to the first floor for the reception. As soon as the lift doors opened we were presented with a spectacular view of the ocean & Kamala beach. The staff was very polite & happy to receive us. They also offered a welcome drink, a flower to my wife & also gave us option of choosing any one fragrance which would be used in our room. The hotel has a great 24 hour poolside restaurant & you must visit Vanilla sky a lounge bar on the top floor which gives you a 360 view of the entire area. Though the hotel is not on the beach, the hotel has drop to kamala beach in the morning at 10 and if you don't opt for the same its just a 15 min walk to kamala beach. Kamala beach is clean and has great waters, good eating joints & also great thai massages.The hotel offers free drop to Patong beach at 5.30 pm & pick ups at 10pm from Patong which is great. The food, service, location was excellent. The hotel has a Spa which offer various spa massages but are a bit expensive. If you have the money then get the spa massages or else head to kamala beach where you would get an 1 hour massage for approx 350 bahts.I will definitely stay again here and recommend Cape Sienna to all.

We booked a beach cottage. Starting with the cons, The check in process was a bit slow and we were asked to keep a deposit of 3000 Thai bhats this was not mentioned beforehand. We booked a beach cottage and got a complimentary “upgrade”. Our cottage was the furthest and the WiFi barely worked. The WiFi we were asked to connect was barely working due to poor signal and kept disconnecting. Upon check in we found the in room safe was looked and I had to call the reception twice to get someone to come open it for us and nobody showed up, we then had to carry our valuables back to the reception to make a complaint and a technician turned up after nearly 4 hours. We already checked in late and couldn’t wait to get in the pool, due to the unavailability of the safe we had to carry our valuables and leave it by the pool. Definitely poor customer service on the part of the hotel. Besides that the room was clean and spacious as would be expected for a beach cottage. The Kamala Beach is not really a great beach like Kata or Surin Beach but the property is beachfront so you can always take a dip in the ocean. The property is around 6 km from Patong but the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from Patong which is nice.

Very accomodating hotel staff, had a very smooth check-in and check out. The only thing is that there was a musty/mildew smell in the room during our stay but maybe this was due to the AC that leaked on our first day. Maintenance guy was very quick to fix this though and also the Housekeeper who replaced our beddings. The hotel is very huge with child friendly pools, my 3 year old daughter enjoyed their slide so much it was so difficult to get her out of the pool. Lot of activities for children and parents when we were there and its free! La Tesca Restaurant offers great food with a very reasonable price especially if you will stick with their Thai Menu, their pineapple seafood fried rice is good- cant say more about their breakfast as we did not avail their breakfast. The hotel is a short walk to Kamala Beach and Fantasea Phuket. There is a mini mart inside the hotel but there are two 7 eleven shops nearby too just take the short cut from the beach behind hotel. Kamala Friday Market is just right opposite of the hotel (this is a small market and quiet compared to the one in Phuket Town). Except for local street food that is so cheap here, please DO NOT shop in Kamala for souvenirs this place is little pricy compared to the shops in Phuket Town or Jungceylon Mall in Patong. If you prefer a peaceful place to stay with your family after your patong adventures are over (like us) then this is an ideal place for you.

Perched high on the cliffside, amid tropical forests, over azure blue waters and a picturesque panorama of Andaman Sea, an oasis of tranquility and luxury, Paresa resort is a perfect escape. We stayed in two Talay Suites with the balcony accesses the large infinity pool shared by the two suites. It is a perfect option for family or friends on holiday together with shared infinity pool. We really enjoyed the breathtaking sunset and sunrise at our own pool. We felt pampered by the friendliest, smiliest staffs - "The Angels". They're always ready to serve and arrange any of guest's request and make sure we are comfortable. Very great service! Hotel also provides buggy service that can take guests visiting anywhere inside the resort eg. gallery, library, public swimming pool, restaurant and the lobby. Besides, complimentary shuttle service is available for hotel guests going to Kamala Beach. One could not dream about writing a review of Paresa without mentioning the food. Breakfast consisted of a choice of Thai or western-style entrée plus a buffet of fresh fruit, juices, chacuterie, bread and pastries. They're so perfectly delicious! Be sure to rise before 10:30. As well as the set dinner we had at the same place, enjoyed the very best Thai food ever! Truly loved every meal we had here. Every moment we spent here. Unbelievably, the experience actually EXCEEDED our expectations! Paresa, which means “heaven of all heavens”, more than lived up to its name.

My husband and I stayed here for about 2 weeks in April 2017. We chose this hotel because of the pool villas. It was so nice to have your own private pool with a beautiful view to get away from the busy cities and beaches. Before arriving I was worried the villas would not look like the pictures but everything was absolutely perfect and impressive. Another concern I had was the hill up to the hotel. I had read that some taxis won't take you to the top and you must walk. We called for the golf cart to come pick us up every time that was an issue and they came within a minute or two every time. Another concern I had was the shuttle to Kamala Beach. They had drop off and pick up at 11:00am, 4:00pm and I believe 8:00pm. Other wise it was 100 baht each way, which is only a couple U.S. dollars. No big deal. They also would take you around Kamala for the same price. The customer service was prompt and polite. If I ever come back to Phuket I will stay at Villa Tantawan.

First night we had a room directly facing the construction. It was rather noisy in the morning. After we explained the situation next day, hotel staff had kindly moved us to a quieter room. Hotel is away from busy areas but has shuttle bus to Jungceylon shopping mall 3 times per day. Need to book in advance. It is 2 mins walk to Kamala beach. The sand on the beach is a bit rough though. Breakfast is good. Could be better with more meat options. We enjoyed other hotel facilities like the gym and the pool. Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay in Novotel Kamala.

We stayed 26 days in Thailand and stayed in 6 different 5 star hotels. This hotel, by far, was the best! Excellent facilities, amazing pool and relaxation area, room was out of this world and breakfast unbeatable. This is a six star hotel in our book! Originally, we were reluctant to book this hotel due to the fact that it has no beach safe for swimming on location. We were pleasantly surprised with the proximity to Kamala beach. Kamala beach is an incredible beach for all travelers as its clean, family friendly, and still has enough going on to please the adventurous traveler. The mixture of mornings relaxing by the pool and afternoons on Kamala beach exceeded our expectations for how wonderful a vacation can be. Thanks to the friendly staff members for making our stay an incredible one. We will be back soon!

A data is a wonderful place. The wonderful staff are helpful and gracious. The food at Silk restaurant is nearly the best we had is all the fine restaurants we tried in Bangkok and Phuket. The only disappointment is the beach. The Andara has a section of Kamala beach reserved but to get there you have to walk through the public beach which is not very nice. However, the pool and grounds at Andara, our own plunge pool, and the sea view, made it unnecessary to go to the beach. If you are a. Each person, you might want to stay elsewhere. We loved Andara and hope to return someday.

This hotel has the best location in Kamala. If you want a hotel on the beach and steps away from the pool, this is it. I researched a lot before going here and found it is pretty much the only hotel right on the beach. Hotel is clean and staff very friendly. This is easily a 4 star hotel and the price is more than reasonable. It is only 15 minutes to Patong for those who want that fast pace. If not, there are plenty of restaurants and shops in Kamala. Kamala is so opposite of neighbor Patong beach. Kamala is slower paced and relaxed. The one negative is the internet policy. You only get free wifi in the lobby. In the room you must pay a very steep price per hour or a week long pass for 1025 Baht. And the reliability of the connective is not great. This is probably the most negative part of this hotel. The pools are fantastic and the restaurant serves great food. Breakfast is very good and lots of choices for the buffet. One more thing, the restaurants close for 1 hour from 5-6 PM which I scratch my head it. Not sure why they need to close for an hour at a world class hotel. They have 24/7 room service so this is quite puzzling. I highly recommend staying here and I will go back next visit.

The location is ideal. Kamala being relatively small, it isn’t far from anything at all. I enjoyed walking to and from here. Clean? CLEAN! Quiet. Soft spoken, and gracious staff members, bundled with a lovely hotel kept doggy pal! The room is big. Unnecessarily big i’d say. But that adds to the grandeur of your stay. With very warm yet minimalistic decor, it’s a perfect balance of Zen and contemporary. A sofa. A nice soft bed, wooden accents and industrial-eque combo of sloppily (intentional) white wash walls and cement. Separate cabins for the shower and the toilet. With the sink shared within the room, it’s all very tasteful. Opposing the entrance to your room is all glass, with sliding doors, onlooking the small little buildings and such outdoors. Look down and you see the awe worthy edge to edge pool located within the premises of your hotel. (You probably saw it upon entering) Special appreciation for how quiet it was here. Also props to the giant aircon for the giant room keeping you cool and crip even on the hottest of days. If you had this place shortlisted, think no more. It’s worth twice as much as what i paid to stay here, and that’s looking at it from a solo traveller’s budget. Trust me, you need a lot less than this to enjoy staying in Kamala. But if you’re looking for some large accommodation, perhaps for you your kid and your spouse, book it. No regrets.

There is no mistaking the look and feel of Keemala as a premium property for rest and relaxation, set in a verdant hilly backdrop of Phuket's Kamala beach. With 3 equally intriguing room types that are no doubt well appointed, providing an air of exclusivity and charm that make for wonderful memories. From the high tented ceiling, to the warm woody feel, akin to glamping. With every amenity provided such as complimentary juices in the minibar, to quality toiletries and and comfortable ecological strategies. However, with such a premium comes a premium critique. As in such a climate, some of the infrastructure suffer from disrepair. Staircase banisters that are rotted. Loose stair case boards. While the hand crank coffee bean grinder and drip coffee carafe was a hoot, the novelty quickly wore off and a Nespresso was well in order. Also, the thin tented walls did nothing to insulate from the very busy buggy traffic (#508) and noisy neighbours (2:30am)can be a bane on your slumber.

Lee, one of their staffs, is very accommodating. We booked for a room with breakfast. Start of buffet breakfast is from 7am to 10am, we asked if it’s possible to have it served by 6am as we have scheduled activities (Phi Phi Island tour) by 7am, and they did. The following day, we need to be in the airport by 7am and they accommodated our request to again to have the breakfast served at earlier time. Their hotel has a modern architectural design. Their infinity pool has the best view! Location —- it’s just a 5 minute walk to Kamala Beach and 10 minute walk to FantaSea. Transportation is quite expensive in Thailand so staying in a hotel that is just a walking distance to the beach and main attractions are a plus! Highly recommended! Thanks, Kamala.

This resort is perfect for Families and Couples who want to spend quality time together away from their busy lives. This Resort ticks all the right boxes; Friendly Staff who understands English, Great Location, Room has Amazing View, One of the Best rooms I have ever stayed during my travels so far (we stayed in Grand Deluxe Ocean View room), Good Food, Good room service, good amenities (great Pool and a Game room having children area and two Pool tables). Resort is only 2KM (20 min walk, 5 min Drive) from Kamala Beach and Kamala market. The Resort has a free shuttle service to and from Kamala Beach, the service runs every three hours from 10:30Am till 6PM. There are 2 Halal Restaurants (2 min walk from the drop off point) - one is Royal India Restaurant (serves Halal Pakistani, Thai & Indian Food) and the other is Cafe Layalinna. There are other Halal Muslim restaurants near to the main market (10-15 min walk from Drop off point). There are many Muslim staff members and they accommodate your request for halal food. Special mention to the resort manager Mr. Sebastian. He is very helpful and was always keen to help us out! I am sure to stay here again whenever I visit Phuket again :) Highly recommended from my side :)

Pros- very nice accomodations and excellent staff. Also a very complete gym Cons- you need transportation to go eat. it is 300 baht to go to Kamala beach where all the restaurants are located.

The hotel is build on the hills on the side of the bay of Kamala beach. The various buildings are located at different levels on the hill. For travelling up and down the facilities staff is always available to drive you using one of their golf carts. The staff of the hotel was always very friendly, e.g. at the reception, swimming pool, restaurant, concierge. We stayed in one of the villa's. They were very spacious and beautiful decorated. The very large bathroom held a large tub and separate rain shower. The villa also has a large balcony from where you have a beautiful view over the bay towards Kamala beach. The hotel is a bit remote so if you plan to be all the time in downtown Patong Beach this is not the right place. If you look for something more quiet this is a good option. Best is to have your own transport but if not available you can still use the shuttle that drives to Patong and Kamala several times a day. In the neighborhood there are several nice restaurants. I can recommend Rockfish. The restaurant overlooks the sea and is not far from the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel itself is also offering a large options. The hotel has various pools which again also have a beautiful view over the bay. Even when you swimm.

Very central to all amenities of Kamala beach, great restaurant onsite as well as an awesome bar that plays great music. Rooms are comfortable & have great balconies to look out over the ocean. Staff were wonderful & friendly. The only con I can think of would be is no parking lot if you drive here ( but am sure something could be arranged). I rate this place very highly.

Choose this hotel by chance. It is very convenient for you to make a left turn of 200 meters to reach the beach of kamala. The room is very large, with an independent swimming pool and complete supporting facilities. The most surprising thing is the Xbox. The main thing is that the employees are very enthusiastic and actively help to solve various problems.

This was our first stay at Kamala, and we definitely chose well with Kamala Beach Estate. The Estate is half-owned/rented by ex-pats so it doesn't have the hotel feel which is nice. The rooms are all slightly different, and the one we rented was amazing. A one bedroom self-catered room with a large kitchen, lounge and balcony. The grounds are beautiful too, and there are two separate pools. The private beach is lovely but you can't swim there due to the rocks; however, the walk into town/beach is very short (10 mins max). Loved it and I would definitely return to the Kamala Beach Estate.

We could not be happier with our choice of Layalina Hotel in Kamala. It is a smaller, quiet boutique hotel which provides an outstanding value. Our rate included a substantial breakfast. The second floor room was nicely sized with a large jetted tub and two decks that afforded gorgeous ocean views. The location allowed for easy access to the sandy beach, shopping and restaurants. The staff were very helpful in arranging airport transfers.

We stayed there for 5 nights. Kamala is a great place that is not to touristy and quite quiet. There are some good restaurants and a very good beach. The hotel is cheap and convenient, especially for those who like to spend their days out and about, at the beach and doing things. We hired a scooter one day and went to the jungle zip lines and to a waterfall, which was superb, and if you see an old man selling satay pork on the way (near waterfall, at the side of a road in the middle of nowhere), do stop and try, as it was the best we had.

Stayed between 13-17 April at the apartment Taoshan, which shared with Kamala Tropical Garden, was awesome. Big rooms and awesome living hall. Cleanliness was top notch! Its cheap for a night stay(below sgd70) which it can accommodate 5-6 adults. And location was awesome. Many eateries around there even for halal(muslim) families to find food is not a problem. 5mins walk to the beach. What else can I say, its the best apartment I have stayed in Phuket so far. You won't regret it.

I advise everyone who is looking for a great budget accommodation to book this hotel. It is owned by a small family, who are very friendly and helpful. It was our first trip to Phuket and I choose this hotel cause it was 1 km away from the Fantasea entertainment park. Kamala beach is a very poor area but this hotel stood out like a diamond amongst pebbles. Beautiful,new,modern,clean with sparkling porcelain tiles and to top it off a lovely clear pool in front. It took our breath away. Perfect for couples and families.The staff was so helpful. They even made our bookings for show and speed boat island hopping tour,without even asking commission like all the other tour companies, using their own airtime.And they so accommodative. Our island hopping tour started at 7am. Which meant we would miss breakfast,so they offered to pack it in take away containers for us. Then we muslims and forgot to remind them that we dont eat bacon, they actually went to prepare new breakfasts for us even though we said its ok. We were extremely impressed by everything. My only regret was not booking more than 1 night there. Unfortunately when we wanted to prolong our stay they were fully booked. When I return to phuket Im definitely saying there again. Don't hesitate, book this hotel, im sure you wont be disappointed. And it was app. 20 minute drive from airport costing us 750 batt altogether for a taxi car to transfer 4 of us to the hotel from airport.

Enjoyed our stay at the Sungthong. We were three generations, with a young grandsons that turned 1 while we were here! Before booking we were concerned about distance from the beach. We need not have been, as it is a short walk, either on the road in front, or through the shortcut behind BigC. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms were always clean, and towels were available for the pool or beach use. Restaurant was good, and prices were reasonable. We noted that some guests had breakfast included; we did not; but two eggs and toast was only 80 baht, and other ala crate options were very reasonable, so either choice would be acceptable. The hotel is right around the corner from the Kamala Bakery, which offers great breakfasts as well as terrific baguette sandwiches so it is a must go to. We visited the bakery several times, and had two take-aways for day trips. Hotel has a great pool that offers shade in the afternoon. Location is very quiet, but you may hear early morning praye

this has to be the best deal in kamala. family operated, very friendly staff.the room was huge and very clean. the kitchen was perfect. the balcony was large with a good view. it is located right on the beach road in kamala. 24hour 7/11 next door. money exchange right there. great restaurants and coffee shop literally steps away. it is a 30 second walk to the beach. there is no pool but who needs a pool when the ocean is right there. i will stay there every time i am in phuket.

We stayed At Kamala hotel for a week. It's close to the beach, maybe 1-2min by foot, located on a quieter street in Kamala Beach area. Our room was brand new with a balcony. We really liked the location, everything is in walking distance and scooters are available on every corner as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is fast and works well. I can def recommend it to anyone who's looking a nice room in Kamala Beach area for a reasonable price!

spent a total of 8 nights here. If you plan on staying in Kamala, and all you need it sooner clean place to sleep, shower and change cloths, this is the place. The young lady that works the front desk is very helpful, if you need local information, and always has a smile on her face. My hot water wasn't working and she was right on it. I needed a laundry, she pointed me to a close, reasonably priced place When I go back to Kamala, I will most certainly stay at the Baan Kamala Fantasea Hotel.

We spent 6 nights in a Superior class room (actually an apartment) consisting of living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony, located on the upper one of the two floors of A-tower. The apartment has a good view over the Kamala beach valley and the sunlight illumination of the interior is excellent. The appliances are up-to-date and working well, as the whole hotel is very new. Some minor problems may arise, like easy tripping of overcurrent protector when using washing machine and hair-dryer simultaneously. (The switch is easy to reset, but we needed staff assistance to find it). The bathroom had 2 doors, both difficult to lock due to slight misalignment. The apartment door lock is mechanical and only one key is provided, so the guests have to negotiate about the key usage. The building also has a locked main door, opened by a magnetic card fixed to the key, so getting into the building requires some arrangements, too, if the key is inside the apartment. The staff provides a taxi service with a pickup car, which is convenient when visiting the beach or Kamala center about 1.5 kilometers from the hotel. The last two hundred meters to the hotel are an extremely steep uphill. The hotel has an outdoors mini-restaurant and a pool. Do not leave a restaurant visit to the last minute, as the closing time may not be minute-exact. In spite of the location surrounded by forest we did not see any more mosquitoes than in the central areas of Kamala. We recommend the hotel for even longer stays than we had.

I had booked 4 nights in Swissotel, a 5 star hotel at the other end of Kamala but checked out as didn't like the staffs attitude, found this little 3 star Benjamin Hotel and I would give it 10 stars compared to Swissotel,,,,, Facilities are just a clean comfortable bed, on the most beautiful beach, no pool but beach is better then a pool. many restaurants within minute walk,,,,, will definitely be returning to this little haven,,, thank you to the staff for making out stay at Kamala a memorable one.
