Absolutely Awesome Resort Right in the middle of Kantiang Beach ”
Just back from 7 nights @ the Kantiang Oasis (April 2016) and I had to leave a review because I truly felt blessed to have stayed there. From the moment I arrived and shown to my room to leaving and them organising travel for me the staff were absolutely brilliant, knowing when to ask did I need anything to knowing when to leave me alone the balance was perfect. The room I stayed in (for the money) was lovely, a typical Thai style room, good size, very clean and exactly what I needed (would also be suitable for couples as well). The room was cleaned every day and towels, fridge etc. all replenished. Breakfast was basic but lovely and the main thing the room and staff was great they made me feel so welcome!!! I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who wants to stay in the best part of Koh Lanta (in my opinion - Kantiang Bay) easily accessible to the 7/11 (24 hrs) massage places and restaurant and the amazing Why Not Bar (on the beach)!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! David Stranack

green Oasis close to beach”
We booked the Balcony King Room and stayed at the Kantian Oasis Resort for 4 nights. Even though the resort is in the middle of the village, when you enter you will find a very relaxed oasis with a lot of plants and flowers. The garden is really nice. The room was clean and spacious. Also the breakfast was always good. We rented an motorbike to explore the island, but you can also relax at the beach which is only a 2 minutes walk away. In the village there are restaurants and bars and some shops. The staff was very helpful and always friendly. They really care about their custumers. The new resort opened about one year ago and the new owners had a lot to renovate. They are still improoving little things and are always thankful for some input. When we were there, the spa wasn't ready yet, but they provided a service in a nearby spa (which we didn't try out). Overall I would recomment the resort and the kantiang village to everyone who wants to have a relaxed holiday outside the very touristic parts of the islands. We really enjoyed staying at the Kantiang Oasis Resort!

Awesome stay at Kantiang Oasis! ”
We recently stayed at Kantiang Oasis and really enjoyed it! The decor was beautiful and staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean! We rented motor bikes from the resort and were easily able to access other areas of the island to explore. There's also a great beach bar right down the road called Aqua Bar- not to be missed!

A Must Stay”
We absolutely LOVED Kantiang Oasis and would not stay anywhere else on the Island. That's how much we loved it. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was kept very clean, we enjoyed early mornings and evenings sitting outside on our private porch, we were served complimentary breakfasts each morning, we're able to rent motorbikes without having to leave our passports, and finally, we were only a short walk away from the most gorgeous beach. (Check out Why Not Bar). Such an amazing time!!

Exceptional”
Very nice and beautifully renovated hotel with comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Friendly staff that makes you really feel welcome! Small but lovely pool, 4 sunbeds are available. Tasty breakfast, but no lunch/snacks/dinner is available. That's OK because Kantiang Bay has a few good restaurants/bars in a friendy atmosphere! Tje hotel is in ghe centre of the small village which has a 7-eleven, ATM, laundry services per kg and some bars and restaurants. The beach is great!

Good all round hotel”
The rooms are very clean & comfortable with adequate space, wifi, fridge & hot water, and each has a nice private balcony. They are set in a pretty garden area with a small pool which is only a plunge pool but you can cool off there and the sea is less than 100m away. The staff are very friendly & helpful (especially Nin) and the breakfast is freshly made to order & very good. There's a good choice of restaurants very nearby. Probably the best value in Kantiang Bay.

Clean, nice hotel 100m away from the beach”
+ the comfy bed (very hard to find in Thailand!), warm water, spacious rooms, locker in the room, chairs and table in front of the bungalow, very clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, amazing location just 3 mins away from the Kantiang beach -> all in all, good value for money, especially if you are travelling in a couple or more and consider the prices of the other higher-level nearby estates - electricity went off 2 times during the 4 days of my stay, however only for 20 mins, the wifi is quite spotty within the bungalow, the staff tidies up your room upon request, but does not change the sheets (unless specifically asked, I guess), beware of the early morning prayer of the nearby mosque - it is quite loud (woke me up every morning, even though I am an excellent sleeper), the breakfast service could have been a lot faster in noticing that you are waiting for them

Very pleasant and conveniently located!”
This is a newly-constructed small resort hotel in downtown Kantiang. The staff was very helpful and friendly, providing us coffee and fruit and rice porridge in the morning as early as 6AM before our dive trips. They also permitted me to have a replacement credit card mailed to me at their address, after I had checked out, even going so far as to locate me at my new address and hand-deliver the parcel. Would absolutely recommend them, and would stay there again!

Lovely peaceful, small, seven room resort”
. It is right beside a small towns shops and restaurants and 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Despite its setting amongst the hustle and bustle of the town, the resort is set back from the road making it a surprisingly peaceful spot. Our room, 2301, room 1, was great. Very spacious, with a huge double bed and equally big mosquito new and a single bed. There was had a safe, air-conditioning, fridge, some free nibbles and daily bottles of water provided. The bathroom was a fair size, too. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included with our booking. The breakfast is basic, but all you need. It included various egg options with ham or bacon, toast, tea, coffee, juice and some fruit. The setting of the resort is good for exploring the island.

A Very Friendly Place ”
This is a small oasis with a little pool - good for little kids to splash around in, comfortable rooms and beds, and the best thing, a super friendly staff that is like family. They are new at running something like this so some things are being worked out as they go. But if you are a low maintenance traveler who just wants a comfortable place with a kind and caring staff, then this is the place for you.

Did not live up to expectations raised by positive reviews”
Well... Aside from being very centrally located in Ao Kantiang (very short walk to everything from the 7-11 to the beach and restaurants), the nice lay-out and the comfy pillows, there's not much positive to be said about Oasis. The room was spacious, but dark and run-down: holes in the wall covered by hangings, a very tired looking bathroom (which flooded while taking a shower) and we had just a general uncomfortable feeling being in it. The pool gave us green knees (algae?), breakfast was bad, the staff was not unfriendly, but all in all a bit weird AND waking up from the literally neighbouring mosque at 5am and chickens (a very enthusiastic cock amongst them) wasn't the best start of our day. The last bit is obviously not the resort's "fault", but it didn't help either combined with everything else. All in all, there are much better places to stay at in Koh Lanta for roughly the same amount of money ! We would certainly not return to this one.

We got a free massage with a two night stay which was great. The hospitality was very terrific. Not right on the beach, which I worry would be noisy. Tucked away off a Main Street where you can find anything you need. A very relaxing atmosphere. Out dated rooms but it’s expected for the price.
