Great budget hotel!”
This place this nicely located, super clean and has great staff. A quick walk from the local beach and a 10 min walk over to Kata beach. It’s basic but comfortable. Would stay again!

Nice mid-range hotel not far from beach”
Nice small mid-range hotel. 5 minutes away from the beach. Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet place. Rooms are nothing fancy but good enough. Overall good value for money given the higher prices on Phuket. On the downside, there are not many midrange dining options around (only 3 reataurants), other restaurants are more upscale. Hotel doesn’t offer breakfast and facilities are nonexistent.

Easy and relaxing”
Katanoi Resort was such a great find! Directly opposite the very expensive resort on the beach but paying a fraction of the cost you get all the benefits of the area. Very helpful reception who are good with english, pool was great for a cool down. We stayed in the 2 bed villas, which was perfect for us (3 adults, 1 baby), comfortable outdoor area, great food places next door and 7/11 at the entrance. The in house spa was great too, got a pedicure and foot massage, both fantastic and away from the main road so it doesn't get busy with other visitors. There is a parking area/construction site next door but wasn't in action during our stay (3 days). Parking for your car is right outside the villas. Great price, great service, would recommend to anyone.

Clean, quiet and relaxing”
We had a fantastic stay at Katanoi Resort. We had a wedding across the road at the Katahani and our villa was the quarter of the price of one room at the Katahani and three of us stayed in the room. Although there is no restaurant, in our villa we had the facilities for cooking which made it so much easier as most restaurants do not open until 10am. Can not praise the staff enough but google translate did come in handy some times!

Good cheap alternative to Katatani Beach ”
The Katanoi is literally opposite the entrance to the giant resort The Katatani Beach Resort, so if you happen to be attending a wedding at the Katatani & you didn't want to pay their room rates, then the Katanoi is a good alternative. We were very disappointed with the pool, no lounges or chairs for the apartment guests, (only the 2 bedroom Villa guests got lounges at the front lawn of their entry) the pool was small, but you could put up with that if only they had somewhere to lounge when you get out. We were in a room on the 2nd floor had a great balcony, with chairs & table, view from balcony was of the local swamp, but was fascinating to watch the locals come and pick their greens from it each night. The resort was quiet & peaceful. Our bathroom sliding door did not close which was a little disconcerting as it was right next to the bed. This hotel is nothing flash, and if that's ok with you, then you will save yourself a bucket load of cash. The staff are very friendly, however their English is pretty non existent, don't ask questions and you will be fine.

My Sister's 21st Birthday Trip”
Overall trip was good. I've stated the pros and cons below and hope it will help others. The fact of 1 bathroom is really insufficient for a family's use, especially when there are urgent times and after going to the beach. There were no proper briefing provided to us as well. There was a problem that we encountered on our last day. Our mistake that we didn't do a check on the items in the resort when we checked in. There were umbrellas in each room's cupboard and due to the rainy season, the staff borrowed the umbrella for use on the very 1st day to bring us some adaptors and some other items. We actually used the umbrella when we go for dinner the same night but did not check the logo or name on it. Our last day before checking out, the staff told us that the umbrella wasn't theirs and it belongs to the 4 start resort (katathani) opposite our resort. Therefore we were charged thai baht 500 and we're allowed to bring back the umbrella. Pls do check if the umbrella belongs to the resort you live in to avoid unnecessary charges. Pros: - Very good location (few minutes walk to the beach) - Convenient as there are family mart, mini mart, souvenir shops and food nearby - Resort was clean - Some staff were very friendly, nice and helpful. Cons: - Insufficient bathroom - Having a hard time with the flush - There were no proper briefing upon arrival (as the umbrella's incident) - We requested for the toilet flush to be checked out but nothing had been done or nothing was updated after 2 days until i went back to check with the reception again - Air con controller was spoilt (no proper maintainance / check was done before next guest check in. Requested to change another controller but was told that the resort is full and the air con are not the same brand, therefore unable share our change a workable one. Finally after some time, the staff manage to get another room's controller for us.

Great option for Kata Noi ”
I was reluctant in writing this review because I think this place should be kept secret. In Kata Noi beach there are just 4 places to stay and two of them are Luxury 5* hotels, this Katanoi Resort is just what you need to stay in Kata Noi Beach without been bankrupt.....

Beautiful Kata Noi - quiet and relaxing”
An excellent hotel with small pool which most of the time you get to use as your personal one. Spacious,clean room with plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space,large bathroom and lovely balcony with mountain views. Five minutes to the gorgeous beach. No meals but shops and restaurants minutes away - fridge and kettle in room. Plenty of tuk tuks and taxis to take you to the nearby busier resorts. Very friendly staff who try their best to help with any queries. Very good value for money, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Budget Hotel!!”
This is a great hotel that is great for its price. It is clean and well maintained, will be the best you can find at this price, in this area. Our close friend had their wedding at Katathani Resort and we wanted to stay close. You can not get much closer than this (across the road). We were out sightseeing a lot and did not spend a great deal of time at the resort so it was perfect for us. Great value for money if you be out exploring and not sitting around a resort the whole time. Pool was clean and refreshing.

Cheap and cheerful”
I was a guest at a wedding at Katathani which was out of my price range. Katanoi offered a cheap alternative, the staff had little English but were always friendly and my room kept very clean. I was able to use the other resorts restaurants and pools so it worked out as a great mix. The room basic but comfortable with wireless internet. Perfect for my needs

Perfect for the wedding attended at Katathani”
We were staying a Kata Noi while our friends and wedding party stayed at Katathani resort over the road. We were on a budget and get a great price and as we were part of the wedding group we were aloud to use the Katathani Resorts facilities. Perfect. The Hotel its self was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful. Nothing bad to say. Balconies are better on the higher floors. Kata noi beach is beautiful and even if your not part of a wedding you can enter the Katathani for drinks or food. Plus you can get to use the beach (which is public)

Great Hideaway”
I booked to stay here for a couple of nights wshile attending a wedding at the nearby resort. The location suited perfectly as I was just next door and id not have to pay the higher prices of tghe resort. The staff were friendly and the roo was well appointed. Would have been nice to be able to have breakfast here though

Nice hotel but beach disappointed”
Hotel and room were very nice . Pool is very small but has kid area. Staff speak very minimal English. Great location 2 minutes walk to beach,but Beach is a major disappointment as it is full of trash and there is trash in the water. Minimart nearby and some good restaurants. Fine dining at 5 star hotels nearby. Our room had a fridge and electric kettle but no microwave. Maybe another apt had one, but I did not ask.

Our stay at the hotel was generally pleasant. It is a very short walk to the beach as well restaurants and bars. It is also near a convenience store and a booking center for taxis and tuktuks. We, however, had some difficulty during our stay. The staff knows very little English. When we arrived at past 12 noon, the front desk staff could barely understand us. They gestured for us to follow them to our room. They were carrying a heavy luggage that was in the lobby when we arrived. They left the luggage in our room thinking that the luggage belonged to us. We had to gesture to them that it didn’t belong to us so they had to carry the luggage down again. The next day, we have an island hopping tour booked with a travel company. I had to go down to the lobby because there was no phone in the room. I asked if the travel company has come to pick us up. The desk officer couldn’t understand me. After several minutes of trying, she finally understood what I meant and gestured for me to follow the van that was about to leave. It would have been a big disappointment if we missed our tour because the hotel staff doesn’t speak English. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. We have heavy luggages because Phuket is our first stop in our tour of Thailand. We had to carry our luggages all the way to the third floor and then down again when we checked out. An elevator would have been nice, or a bell boy perhaps to help you carry your luggages. The hotel also doesn’t serve breakfast. We had to leave at 7am on our second day for our island hopping tour. The nearby restaurants were not yet open so we had to settle for bread and jam that were available from the nearby convenience store. The stay at the hotel would be much more enjoyable if the hotel owner will take care of these details. It’s main selling point is it’s nearness to the beach and restaurants and bars. They have to capitalize on this strength and exert effort to make the guests more comfortable.

Comfortable accommodation next to a beautiful beach ”
Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with balconies, quiet area, friendly staff. The pool is very small, but this doesn´t matter, as Kata Noi beach is just steps away from the hotel. We had a wonderful stay there and definitely would stay again.
