EXCEPTIONAL”
Great resort, extremely clean, very friendly staff, cute 3 month old dog and the TV is huge with Netflix etc pre installed. Only downside is the 2 or 3 older dogs aggressively barking upon arriving at night but they're all mouth.

Really nice location, the staff is super friendly. The feeling of waking up to a beautful jungle/sea view is totally worth it. The prices are too low in my opinion. The rooms are very nicely done and perfect for couples. It's still under construction, but i don't mind taking the stairs. 5/5 for that price.

Beautiful bungalow, but small. ”
I was lucky to stay at a "laat minute* price. Very stylish bungalow with top quality products. The bed and pillows where the nicest I ever had. But be prepared for a steep climb to reach your bungalow. And ants can make a in to even the luxuriest place..... But overall, the bungalow was spectacular.

Not suitable for everyone ”
This hotel is situated at least 3 km away from the central hub. Roads of Koh Phangan are very steep and there's no way you could go to a food place without a taxi, and it's impossible to walk up-down the hilly roads to go outside the hotel. There's no in house restaurant also, so must need to outside with the owner's car for which you need to pay 300 Baht for each trip. To make it worse, you need to climb at least 40-50 steep stairs to get to your bungalow, there's no reception nor a phone, so anything you need must be asked face to face by taking the stairs. And there'll be good sized barking dogs to welcome you. The rooms might be cheap, but it's going to cost you a hell lot of money to get to the center. I'll never recommend this hotel to anyone. No complaints for the staffs, they have amazing behavior.

The windows were very dirty, never been washed since installation, the bathroom was dirty with blood and dead insects on the walls, the towel on the bathroom floor had once been white, now it was brown stained and unwashed since many guests returned. It's a shame that the owners are letting the unique location fall into disrepair. Outside, there was trash and old abandoned building materials everywhere.

Way overpriced for full moon party, no fridge, hairdryer etc. windows didn’t lock, some sockets didn’t work. Clean towels, clean bed, extremely friendly staff, very close to the beach

Quiet and cute little place with amazing view”
I stayed at Kawarin for a week, the view is incredible and you won't find a more comfortable bed anywhere on this island. Whats missing a bit is the possibility to go outside and relax, or open the big window. You need a scooter to go there and you should be able to climp some steps, but waking up with this view is worth it!!! People are also very friendly :)

Beautiful ”
The place is stunning, with these wooden bungalows on the hills. The bed was so comfortable, the best in months travelling, and lying on it we could see the stars thru the window! The family working there was lovely and helpful. Unfortunately all the facilities were not finished during our stay, we will have to come back in the future!

Nice cabin in the middle of nature ”
We really liked our stay here, yes, the stairs are tough, but the cabins are really nice, so we just brought everything we needed to not walk down again. Loved the big bed, the view of the sea and all the green, and the big TV, which we used to watch movies on with our HDMI cable. The room has its own rooter, so the internet is great. There is a kettle and fridge and the kind staff tidies up the room every day and brings new coffee supplies. In general the staff was really sweet, there is a laundry service and when we needed to communicate something more complicated, we called or wrote WhatsApp to the owner. You need to have a scooter to get around, but you need that on the island in general. There is a family mart and a nice breakfast restaurant just two minutes drive from the hotel. Also make sure to visit the viewpoint restaurant nearby for a drink at sunset.

Yes the stairs, I'm sure you've read enough of the reviews to understand they are a stinker climbing up at 3am after a night out. BUTTTTT, I have been travelling for 5 months now and this place was just perfect. To start with, we left our bags at reception as we were too early to check in. On our return the staff had informed us that our bags have been put in our rooms already. Bonus points because I was not looking forward to carry my backpack up 100+ stairs. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, best I've stayed in the last 5 months of travelling. Facilities are great, room is 10/10. Massive television, huge bed, great space all around. We stayed there during the full moon party and it was only a 150baht taxi to the beach from the hotel. Great value for money. Could not recommend enough. I miss the bed already and it's been one day :( The pillows aswell 👌🏻

Not really a resort, but rather a collection of bungalows. You will need a car/motorcycle. In my hut the AC was terrible. The views were amazing though and I really liked the design of the bun

The owner was incredibly friendly and even gave me a ride back to the pier when I was checking out. The place is clean and comfortable. The only downside is that taxis refuse to go there.

Super toller Ausblick, perfekt für eine zweisame Nacht ”
Das Bett war riesig und super weich. Die Decke war auch überdemensional groß, was wir beide sehr gut fanden. Da konnte man auch über die Ameisen im Bad hinwegsehen. Das personal war super hilfsbereit und freundlich, konnte aber kein bisschen englisch. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen, wenn ihr einen Scooter habt, ohne ist es zu weit vom Schuss!
