Centrally located, quiet, monkeys”
We only stayed briefly in Khao Sok, 2 nights and did a 2day/1day tour of the lake. We chose to book a tour with an outside provider which was cheaper. However you need to consider which lake house you will stay in as those dictate the price of the tour. The cheap tours gto to the cheapest raft houses. We did not eat at the hotel apart from the basic breaky which is included - omlette is good enough - but went for cheap and excellent thai food up the road, opposite of the turnoff to art's river lodges (next time Art's would be my preferred place to stay due to location, alas, they are not bookable online). We had a lot of monkey action on the balconies and saw several lizards - tops!

Clean, exotic and friendly ”
We had an amazing stay at Khao Sok. Highly recommend this resort. Super clean, friendly staff, easy to book tours. We did a 2 day one night in the jungle. Amazing for the adventurous outdoor type. Great breakfast and a nice little restaurant up the street with great food that we went to twice. What a beautiful place was hard to leave!

relaxing stay in nice bungalow”
The hotel has charming bungalows and is located close to the entrance of the khao Sok NP. the reception can organize different kind of tours and speaks English well. The room was large, the beds clean and the bathroom both.

Quiet, clean and well managed lodge”
Phenomenal breakfast, clean and cute rooms with decks (half of them overlook the river), very attentive staff and centrally located on main road. Would highly recommend this lodge.

Great location, wildlife retreat with hotecomforts”
Stayed one night, great location walking distance to entrance of national park. Sitting on river bank layout is pretty, room big size with all amenities, well covered to prevent bugs getting in at night. Food good too.

Perfect ”
Brilliant location. Excellent staff especially Nok on reception who helped us with every enquiry we had. Tubing down the river a must do activity. Lovely rooms and restaurant just watch out for the monkeys

Beautiful location and view to the river”
The hotel is simple but gives the appropriate accommodation. In the middle of jungle and right next to the river is just the perfect spot to run your adventures.

Right beside the river. Cute raised bungalow style. Big rooms with a nice balcony. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Just ok. Good enough. ”
Maybe not fare to review because we went during the beginning of the slow season. No water in the river, which meant no tours to waterfalls or river events. Staff was ok and friendly. The town was a bit run down and not clean. Lots of construction. The staff left after 9 pm. We were told to call another number if any issues happened after 9. No phone in the room. Free wifi. We had free breakfast which was ok. Location very good if the river was running.

location is very good ,close to shops & food. food in the hotel- not so good very nice big room the beds are old & not really comfortable many insects also in the room the BEST thing in this hotel is the manager MR. NA- he helped us with everything!!! un like the other hotel & resturant staff THANK U SOOOO MUCH MR.NA :)

Loved staying there ”
We had the best 2.5 days there. Felt like home because of the friendly staff. We went on some great trips. And the rain just made a break from pouring down while we went on the lake and the half day canoe trip. Our old uncle feel on the boat and needed medic assistance. They took very good care of him. The only bad thing about the hotel was that the food was lack of taste.. Except for that it was all wonderful.

What we liked: - Close to the main gate of the national park - good Food in the restaurant - good choice of other Restaurants around - room was clean and had a good size - travel agencies around so it is easy to book day trips like the lake tour etc. What we missed - a garden (all the houses are build on stalks) - a Swimming pool What we can recommend (has nothing to do with the Hotel) . Bring earplugs (we didn´t know before, how horrible Sound cicadas can make) - If you book a lake tour - inform yourself what to wear and what to bring (Bikini, torch light, waterproof shoes etc.)

Lovely place, friendly staff, slow check out”
This was a lovely place to stay. Nice area and great food. For us, breakfast was too late, starting at 7.45am. We have two small children. So we missed this and checked out at 7am. Thus was a problem as no one there seemed to be able to do it. We didn't owe anything and just needed to hand back the key. 40 mins later we were finally able to head off.

Adequate and clean”
This area is popular with visitors who travel by bus. It's easy to get to the National Park and tours can be arranged to the park's reservoir. It's adequate but not beautiful or luxurious.
