Quaint house converted into a guesthouse”
Really liked the concept here. It's basically a large house on a good sized block of land converted into a guesthouse with maybe 7 or 8 guest rooms. Each room has a large bed, desk, TV and bathroom. Breakfast was basic, but adequate to get you going in the morning. The trampoline at the back was an unusual touch - never stayed at a hotel or guesthouse with one before! Would be even more cool if a pool could be added. Location is close to the night market, about 1km up the road and only 500m to the red bridge, which joins up with the Mon bridge. In the evening, it's probably still best to drive than walk to/from the market as there are a lot of dogs around the area that can be quite annoying and start barking loudly if you walk past.

Home Away From Home Stay”
The hotel is like a family vacation home. The experience was like you went for a weekend visit to see your grandparents and stay in a heritage house. Room is basic and clean. Breakfast is ok nothing fancy but delicious home cooked breakfast with limites choices. Staff is like your family, welcoming you with excitement and feels you are really part of the family attending to your needs and requests.

Decent guesthouse with lovely rooms.”
Kingfisher house wasnt quite what we expected- its a good guesthouse but we expected more of a hotel for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was good but breakfast sadly was a bit lacking- toast and a cold fried egg were all that were available. Room wasnt cleaned- we got the impression that they werent quite ready for hotel type guests.Sangklaburi is an amazing remote location and we did feel that Kingfisher was probably the best option in town.

Cosy place & friendly staffs”
Very well located in Sangkhlaburi, you can reach the wooden Mon Bridge in 15min. The staffs were friendly and kind to pick me up at the bus station. The hotel is very clean and well decorated, feeling like a second home. I recommend this place for every type of travelers, solo, couple or family.

Nous avons bien apprécié la grande chambre avec des grandes fenêtres, la taille de la salle de bain. ( la plus petite n’était pas très charmante et senti l’enfermement) , l’ambiance familiale de la maison , le petit déjeuner, le déco, l’emplacement. Un super night- food market 10 minutes a pieds comme le fameux Mon Bridge. La propriétaire très gentille et attentive.

Un havre de paix”
Nous avons beaucoup hésité avant de prendre cette guesthouse, car il n'y avait aucun avis sur Agoda. Mais quel bonheur d'avoir fait ce choix. D'abord l'accueil par Mit et sa femme, qui est anglaise, ( toujours prêts à vous rendre service et anticiper vos besoins), puis par la qualité des prestations offertes ( chambre nickel et super propre, boissons et grignotage à volonté, de plus nous avions un petit jardin privé en face de la chambre avec une table et des bancs) La guesthouse et vraiment bien placé à quelques minutes à pied pont et du village Mon ainsi que des restaurants. Le petit-déjeuner servi sous forme de buffet est vraiment sympa, quand au wifi il n'y a aucun problème. Dans cette guesthouse on se sent comme chez soi, faisant partie de la famille et la convivialité et de mise. Encore un grand merci à Mit et sa femme pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse

Afgaande op de zeer lovende beoordelingen (9,4 gemiddeld ) hier 2 nachten geboekt. Wat een afknapper! Een duurdere kamer genomen voor 1800 Bart per nacht, maar die was erg basic met een veel te zacht bed. Thaise hotels staan bekend om hun, over het algemeen, niet beste ontbijt. Dat weet je, maar dit sloeg werkelijk alles zo slecht, eentonig en steenkoud. De eigenaar Mit is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar dat kan de rest niet goed maken.
