Fantastic staff, great value hotel”
I stayed at Kinh Do Hotel for 2 nights, arriving in Ninh Binh in the evening on 30 March 2013. The staff at Kinh Do Hotel are all amazing! The manager, Luong, is incredibly friendly and helpful and always has a smile on his face. The rest of the hotel staff are also lovely and did everything possible to make my stay here really enjoyable. There isn't much to do in Ninh Binh itself but the natural scenery at nearby places like Tam Coc and Mua Cave is stunning. Luong helped arrange a brilliant trip to the Cuc Phuong national park on my first full day in Ninh Binh and a trip to Tam Coc, Bich Dong pagoda and Mua Cave on my second. He also arranged for me to be driven (at no charge!!) to the train station on my first day to make sure I could buy my train ticket to Da Nang. The rooms are also large, clean, comfortable and have good a/c. For the price, the hotel is excellent value. If you're visiting Ninh Binh, make sure you stay at Kinh Do Hotel!!

Delightfully quirky hotel, friendly service”
We were met from our bus ride down from Cat Ba, by the owner and his Brother who whizzed us across from the bus station to the delightful Kinh Do Hotel. Very quirky and the hotel and everyone in it have a lot of personality! Everyone is very friendly and most of the staff understand and speak a little English, the room had the comfiest mattress so far on our travels, and luxury with 2 pillows each! Although limited menu, every meal was delicious, freshly cooked and served with a smile. If you are stopping over in Ninh Binh, can't do better than this. Right in the heart of Ninh Binh, but we stayed out of season, so not too noisy. ~Delightful stay!

Most Accomodating Staff During Our Six Month Trip”
I cannot say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in this hotel. Upon departure Mr Luong walked us down the street (2 blocks) to the intersection of Highway 1 and waited with us to catch a bus and made sure we got on the correct bus and were not overcharged. They sell tours here but do not push them. He rents moto's and provides maps to all the local attractions which can easily be visited cheaply via a rented moto. Tam Coc and Trang An are definitely worth a visit. I enjoyed them much more than Halong Bay. We had two breakfasts and 1 dinner in the hotel restaurant and found the breakfast to be simple but good and a great way to start the day. We had the grilled goat which was absolutely outstanding, it was not gamey in any way and was reasonably priced when paired with some fried rice it fed two people. I really enjoyed my stay in Ninh Binh and the staff here work to ensure that you have a good visit. I would advise travelers to stop here for a day or so to the see the sites. The hotel also provides free transportation to and from the train station via moto, also a very nice touch. This hotel works to earn your business and does not take their customers for granted. Give them the opportunity to make your stay in Ninh Binh a pleasant and rewarding experience. I am sure they will. The rooms were large and spacious, clean and well equipped with plenty of hot water. The bathrooms are the standard fare for Asia but were fine.

Comfortable and clean with everything you need”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Kinh Do Hotel. The owner speaks great English and will help you arrange tours, rent motorcycles, find restaurants, etc. The hotel has a great location in the center of the city and it's a short ride to see the surrounding attractions that make Ninh Binh such a unique place. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Ninh Binh.

Best hotel in a not so awesome city”
Ninh Binh doesn't have a lot going on...you're likely going there to check out the caves and park, so if you need a night or two there, the Kinh Do is a great place. The rooms are inexpensive, so they are basic but clean, with hot water and decent beds. The staff makes this place. They are cheerful and helpful without being pushy...rare in Vietnam where everyone is trying to sell you something...Their restaurant is pretty good too, there's barely any options anyways so you might as well eat there where you know the food is good and reasonably priced. You can also rent a motorbike from them. All around supr nice people and a good deal for your money!

Comfortable and Convenient but bring ear plugs”
We stayed at Kinh Do for just one night as we were only in Ninh Binh to see attractions outside of the city. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is how paper thin the walls are, we might as well have had the door to our room open because we could hear everything going on outside in the hallways. Not the biggest problem though as I'm sure it is not always as loud as it was during the national holiday we were there during.

Good trip with best service”
our family stayed in this hotel for one day. the room was big enough for our family-two adult and 12 and 10 years old boys. there was a one man who could speak english very well and he served us as a king. especially, when we eat breakfast they offered us a opportunity to choose many kinds of food with drink. this hotel is two star, but the service was a 5 star. also, this hotel is located in center of ninh binh city which is nearby tam coo. we really enjoyed our trip to ninh binh with this great hotel.

Cosy hotel in the center of Ninh Binh”
I have only nice things to say on this hotel. Well located in the center of Ninh Binh, this hotel is located in a nice building in a quiet street. Rooms are clean and tall. The hotel is held by a brother and a sister and, even if the brother s almost the only person ho speaks good english, all the staff is very nice with clients and helpful if you ask them some questions about sightseeings around. the hotel offers all services that we can wait for this kind of hotel and, in any case, at a very fair price: various meals (some of them can be specifically ordered to the owner in advance on request), bicycles and motorcyckes renting, laundry, massage, etc.

Kinh Do Hotel in Ninh Binh is a good location to visit things arround Ninh Binh. The staff is verry friedly and help to arrange your trips f.e. with motorbiks o bicicles. Also it arranged the sleeping bus to Hue for us.

Awesome stay, very friendly people”
I was recommended the Kinh Do Hotel by a friend. From the moment I arrived the guys looked after me and made me feel very welcome. Rooms are clean, with AC and TV. WiFi works best in the lobby, but reaches the room. Food is great too. I arranged tours with the Hotel, which were great value for money, and made best use of my time in Nimh Binh. I would recommend staying at the Kinh Do Hotel, and if i'm back in Nimh Binh again, I will stay again too.

The manager is amazing”
We only had one night in Ninh Binh but our stay at this hotel was a highlight of our trip. the manager would have to be the most obliging person we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble and every request for assistance was dealt with in a timely and friendly manner. The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay and although, there was a little noise, it was to be expected and didn't disturb us. We wish the manager and his family all the best for the future.

Great value for money”
Stayed here for one night with my sister on one of their private rooms. It was a great stay even without considering the price we paid for it (it was very cheap). The receptionist was so accommodating and welcoming. She helped us organise a private car that can take us to the tourist attractions in Ninh Binh. Nothing bad to say about this accomodation. Location was great as well. It has some good food options around the area.

Fantastic Hotel with Incredible service and owner!”
This stay has been the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. Luong, the owner, and his staff did everything possible to insure that our family had a wonderful stay. Luong arranged a great driver to tam Coc and Cuc Phuong which are must dos in VN. Also, Ninh Binh is the perfect location to see these wonders. I would recommend a visit here to every traveler in VN. The friendliest people in Vietnam”
I spent 4 nights in Kinh Do Hotel- longer than I originally planned. The staff over there are fabulous, very friendly and helpful! You have a choice of what to get for breakfast and their banana pancakes are delicious! Food at the hotel's restaurant is delicious too. Room was big and cleaned every day. Nice clean bathroom with hot water as well. Great value for money and the staff make you feel like at home! Definitely recommended !

A quick stay, made easy by friendly staff”
I had a brief stay, one night at Kinh Do. Given the town of Ninh Binh is quiet itself the hotel provided all you needed with easy access - food, water, drinks, motorbike hire. Only Improvement could be the tourist map they provide. Staffing very friendly and willing to help. Free transfer to train station on leaving was a really nice touch.

Excellent service & top value!”
We stayed at the Kinh Do for a night on route to Cuc Phuong National Park. It was a last minute booking but turned out to be a great choice! For the price the room was enormous, in a nice old building. However, the service was the best part. The owner speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable. We saved a lot of money thanks to his taxi connections!
