"I really enjoyed my stay for about a week, during which I tried two restaurants and the pool almost every day. Although I had imagined the comfy room from other reviews, the two restaurants on the 3rd floor(the same level as the lobby) were a great surprise being far above my expectation since I happened to use them to avoid a bus trip to Sannomiya. Also, the pool was refreshing, having nice sun deck and offering the views of both Harbour Land and the Ocean. The good thing is it is not so crowded(at least in the evening towards its close). I would definitely come back at the next chance I visit Kobe!! The only drawback I can think of is the inconvenience of the bus route. I hope there will be a bus route that connects the three Oriental Hotels in Kobe...All in all, I sincerely recommend this hotel. "

"Traveled with two friends; we each had our own room. Good location, maybe 10-12mins walk from the main Sannomiya Station, tucked away down a lazy street. Took us a while to find it, but only because it was raining and we had suitcases. Rooms were clean and neat. Standard business size rooms; bathroom was functional. Great water pressure; constant. Rooms serviced daily. Short stroll to lots of visiting spots - Kobe port, Chinatown, museums, main shopping streets.. Very helpful staff; we arrived way before check in time yet they stored our suitcases so we can start exploring the city. We walked everywhere while there, as it was so convenient a spot. There are two convenient stores a stone throw’s away, the Lamp Museum two minutes walk away, some lovely cafes/eateries a short walk from the hotel. Overall, wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend, and I’ll book in again when I’m back in Kobe! "

"Room was decent size for the price and very clean. Kettle is horribly slow, but they provided free tea and coffee, mugs and bar fridge. Staff were friendly, but didn't speak good English and we stored our bags no problem. WIFI in room was excellent. JR Hyogo station has some cheap restaurants, a supermarket and good access to Sannomiya and Kobe since it is on the main JR line. Would definitely recommend it."

"this is our 2nd time visit to kobe. the first time was april this year. it was just a short visit on our way to arima onsen. we love kobe as it is a nice place with nice people. booked okura deluxe room (seaview) deliberately to enjoy its panoramic view of kobe port. indeed it was a unforgettable experience stay with okura kobe. check in and check out were both fast and efficient. staff are kind and helpful and good command of English. the breakfast wasn't as good as expected as we came across some comments that the breakfast is sort of award winning but we feel just okay and acceptable. the room is spacious with everything that you need. the price we paid deluxe room with breakfast was hkd 1,2xx++ not very cheap though but overall it is a great experience to enjoy the view of kobe port.
