Wonderful Time ”
Our stay at the greenview Resort was simply amazing. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The location is directly at the sea. Dont expect a big beach, but the Water is crystal clear and ideal for swimming and kayaking. The food at the resorts restaurant is delicious and inexpensive and the restaurant itself is very comfortable. The bungalows are quite simple but the beds are good and you have a big porch with a hammock, where you can Relax. Also you can rent a motorbike for a low Price at the resort to explore the Island. We would always come back to the greenview Resort and we are very thankful for the wonderful time!

Spent 5 glorious night here. Very very peaceful with a gorgeous view. All the staff were really nice to deal with and language wasn't a problem. Food is really nice too.

Little paradise”
Small but very beautiful place directly at the beach. The water is not deep enough to swim. But that’s okay. Bed was fresh and clean. Amazing staff! They have been always helpful and courteous! You need a Scooter to get to other beaches and restaurants. Scooter rent and laundry ist possible. Very good fruitshakes! We would definitely recommend this accomodation!

if you want to get away from it all, and sitting peacefully with no one around this is what you looking for, stuff are very nice, you can eat at restaurant and the food are delicious and the price are reasonable, room is big enough and you can live privately in each house with big balcony and beach chair, I'm really enjoy end fully rest hope to get back again someday for sure! :)

Bungalows rather rustic, but acceptable. Fanstastic location just on the beach. Kayaks to use free of charge. Free pick up from /drop off at the pier. Good food served by the resort restaurant at cheap price. Upon request free ride for shopping (approx. 4 kms from the site). WiFi generally OK. Highly recommended place to stay.

The view from the bungalow is stunning and it is so close to the sea. The bungalow itself is just fine and simple. You wouldn’t spend a lot of time inside anyway. The breakfast was my favourite thing in the morning. The staff brought us bread with egg, coffee and fruit. We sat on a table near the sea and eat our breakfast there.

Perfect Resort for a small budget”
The staff was very friendly and picked us up from the pier. Our Bungalow was clean, the food was very good and cheap. They also have kayaks which you can use for free. You can rent bikes or motorbikes and also buy ferrytickets with free shuttle. We really enjoyed the time here!

The place is located in a quiet beach, the staff is really lovely and serve good and fresh food at the restaurant for a really good proce 50/60 bath, also deliver to the bungalows at the beach.

Very Tranquil, Too Tranquil?”
Very tranquil: for us, too tranquil. Nothing else within walking distance. (Of course a motorbike would solve this problem.) Minimal facilities, nowhere comfortable to sit. Not much of a beach but swimming is possible around high tide. On the positive side the staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is very good and well-priced, the verandahs are a good size, and its very quiet. One tip, don't leave your earbuds out at night even inside the cabin. Something chewed the wires of mine and ran off with one earphone! There was a hole in the wall near the shelf where I left them.

Don't stay here”
People only think about this as nice because it is located in a paradise island. So it does not matter as much. We stayed here three days without cleaning.my room once or changed towels. There was no soap. The room is really old and basic even though it is expensive. Some people writing the food is good. But I wonder what they have to compare with. Maybe for someone who stay his first days in thailand. But for us the food was OK. Since my years staying In trat province I have confidence that most people will be more happy to eat in another place on the island. Don't buy breakfast before you arrive. Since the breakfast is 100 bath and only containing rice soup and fruit. You will be better of choosing alone in the menu. (The menu containing breakfast as well) but you can.not choose from it if you prepaid your breakfast.

Excellent value for money”
We stayed for three nights and we cannot praise green view resort enough, the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help during your stay, they took us a good 10mins drive to hire bicycles then again to hire a moto and then again the return these as well as picking us up from the pier and taking us when we departed. You really need a moto if staying here as it is quite out of the way, the roads are very easy to tide on and very very little traffic. The surroundings of this accommodation is fabulous with a little pier that you can sit on, they have free kayaks for use by residents and the food cooked by mamma is outstanding..... If you like tom yum then you must try it, also the papaya seafood and the pad thai... Good value. The rooms are basic but worth the money. Koh mak is a hidden gem and the beaches are beautiful, if you go to koh mak we highly recommend visiting the banana sunset bar/restaurant (formally known as 'the rock') as they have excellent food, great cocktails all at prices that cannot be beaten on the island, and one of the best sunsets we have ever seen.

Tranquil spot on koh mak”
The location is great-a perfectly tranquil and remote little piece of paradise with great staff and food they prepare themselves. The menu has all that you could want, the bungalows are on the beach, spaciously nestled amidst coconut trees, well shaded from the hot Thai sun. There is a free kayak to take out for all who stay there, and although there is no beach to lay out on, there is a small dock with 4 double sun chairs, three in the sun and one in the shade, and a small table with two benches. From there, a tree step ladder safely leads you to the refreshing water below. It is a perfect place to relax and be away from hustle and bustle of the bigger island resorts, yet still feel attached to the world with free wifi, electricity and a full menu of delicious Thai food. Each bungalow has its own hammock and a big porch with benched seats to relax and read, nap or have a snack. Green view rents scooters, but not bicycles, for your travels into town. The staff is so friendly! I highly recommend green view on koh mak island.

Fabulous stay. Friendly, peaceful, great value”
Total relaxation in a blissfully peaceful and quiet location. FREE WIFi was installed while I was staying there and it worked a treat. The bungalows overlook the sea. There is no sandy beach as such but that means no sand flies. After a few days on the island you'll discover that the sandy beaches are best avoided. However, Green View has a lovely little jetty to chill out on. Waters are beautifully warm for swimming. Free kayaks were also great. The family is incredibly friendly and helpful. Some reviews mentioned this place is a little out of the way. For me that was a plus. But this is a small island and nowhere is far away. And any time I wanted to go to busier parts (there really isn't anywhere busy on Koh Mak) the family would always give me a lift and pick me up - all free of charge. The bungalows are basic but clean. Each has a big verandah with chair and hammock. All of the rooms are free standing so no problem with noise through adjoining walls. That's all you can ask for the price. It is fantastic value and I will be back.

Perfect for chill”
I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed very much, the staff are very nice and helpful, there is no white sand beach but you are free to access any resorts on the island. Free canoe and they get you and bring you for free to any koh Mak piers. Matress on bed are too thin was the only negative review I can write on this adress.

very pleasant, quiet, user-friendly environment”
Koh Mak Resort is one of those unique family run resorts... The owner was a fisherman who has lived on Koh Mak Island his whole life on the site of these beach bungalows... The family tends to the excellent and reasonable cuisine. The seafood served is extremely fresh. These folks are dedicated to attending to the needs of their guests. Great people. Great, quiet location. The snorkeling is fair to good right off the shore. I'd return and recommend this resort for sure!

Awesome bungalow in Koh Mak”
Free pickup from the pier. Family run guesthouse, everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. It's a bit far from anything so you'll have to rent a motorbike to get into town, but we liked the peace and quiet. Food is average, we went into town a few times to eat instead. They provide free kayaks which is really nice because other places usually charge 300 baht ($9-$10 USD) for a full day rental. Best value in Koh Mak, would definitely stay here again!
